River Construction LLC custom Homes

Let me share our experience with Darrin(owner) and his crew. My wife and I just had our bathroom remodeled by River construction. His communication, professionalism, efficiency and overall care for the job and us is beyond speakable. The house is an older home, so he was very thorough of inspecting the bathroom after demo. He made our bathroom be turned into a breathtaking moment at the end. He was reasonable on the price with some changes we did and gives you a fair accurate quote. He cared about us not just as a customer but more someone that can be trusted. Give him a shot. This is our before and after.

Darren can park his trucks here at my location anytime. He is one of the number one contractors in the lakes region. Highly recommend. .

The owner of the company has been checked into rehab leaving my project that I paid for unfinished and exposed to the elements. Darrin constantly over promised and lied about the project from the start and then disappeared leaving the work site a mess, unfinished, and tools outside in the rain. I only found out about what happened after I was put in contact with his father to come pick up his trailer and tools from my property.

I'm out thousands of dollars and stuck scrambling to find others to complete my garage as the winter and bad weather are upon us. I hope Darrin is able to recover and get better but this has been a horrible experience filled with lies and stress. I would not suggest hiring this company unless it is under different management, and even then do not pay any money up front.

Update: After cleaning up the mess left behind by River Construction we found a used drug needle and had to have the police come dispose of it. Do not let this company on your property.
