I had put out feelers for a carpenter on the Nextdoor app. Rodney saw my post and was on site within a day and was able to provide me a very fair quote. Within a week the job was completed within a couple hours and came out beautifully. Quote clearly explained what would be done. The work was also done while I wasn’t home but he provided pictures to validate that items I couldn’t see were in fact completed. Great communication and work.

I had a good experience with Guaranteed Carpentry. They are easy to deal with, diligent and the quality of their work is good. I would recommend them for house renovation work.

He is probably an excellent carpenter. I applaud his hard work and effort for being a business owner. All I ask is that he not go through a full red light in front of me, especially when I have my grandbabies in my car. Also please flag your long loads with an orange or red cloth or plastic strip of some kind. Safety should always come first.

Rodney and his team at Guaranteed Carpentry did a great job with replacing our deck. There were several unforeseen structural issues that needed to be fixed and now we have a great looking and safe deck that we can enjoy for decades to come. We definitely recommend Guaranteed Carpentry!

Had to replace my front door which was letting in water and causing the floor to rot. They fixed my floor, installed the new door, and everything looks great. Highly recommend!

The final product was wonderful. Rodney and the gang raised and shingled the building. They reframed what was needed. The building was old and not square. It had settled so the new windows were a challenge.

All workers were pleasant and diligent. Rodney handled the challenges of this refurbishment well. My only disappointment was a small window that will require custom work. Price was a little higher than the quote but the building needed extra time and wood.

Overall- Rodney was great.

What a great experience. Found this company on line because I needed some work done at my home. The skirting around my deck was constantly getting damaged from the landscaper getting too close with the weed whacker and cutting it. Rodney came up with a great fix to avoid it from ever happening again and it looks terrific. I also needed to have both doors on my shed, (one a double door and the other a single), removed and completely reframed and reinstalled. He completed both task in a very timely manner. I was really impressed with his work ethic and how professional he was while at my home. He is very meticulous and pays attention to all the little details. We had just moved in and had someone put an elbow through one of our porch windows, completely shattering it. We live in a mobile home, so the windows are small. Rodney fixed it quickly for a fair price, making a custom cut pane and installing it for us. You'd never know anything happened. Very clean. I'll definitely be coming back to him for other projects.

Rodney recently replaced rotted threshold and door sills on my front porch. This required jacking up porch, working underneath the porch and replacing badly rotted weigh carrying beam. Rodney has been a pleasure to work with, quickly answers phone calls, visited house next day and set proper expectations when work could be completed. This level of communication is unheard of in today's contracting/small business environment. Highly recommend for carpentry projects.

Rodney is a ROCK-STAR carpenter, highly skilled with extra attention to detail and aesthetics. I hired him to add supports to one end of my 52ft deck to support the immense weight of new hot tub on order. Before he got started he identified the 24 year old deck floor boards were showing signs of degradation and he recommended that i have at least the 12x12 section of the deck for the hot tub rebuilt as it would be difficult to do later once the hot tub is there. He also had some identified some other weak spots in the deck floor and stairwell that needed immediate attention for safety reasons. I really appreciated how he looked past the immediate need and helped me look at the bigger picture. I also appreciated how Rodney was cost conscious and evaluated that the overall deck support structure and Railings were very strong and he save me money by building a new floor, stairs, and apply new railing tops around the structure for a much need facelift. I decided to be proactive and have Rodney rebuild the deck along with the added support posts for the stairwell and the end of the deck where the hot tub will sit. Rodney pulled in assistants when needed and they did a rock-solid job as well! I couldn't be happier. Rodney's communication was top-notch and highly responsive. He kept me in the loop every step of the way and made sure to involve me in any decision changes and/or recommendations. In addition, i appreciate Rodney's approach "this is what i'd do if it were my house" approach as i've experienced other contractors who take shortcuts - which sometimes aren't known until years later when they become exposed and you have to fix them. If anything, Rodney even over-engineers in some cases to assure no problems in the future. I highly recommend Rodney, with his Guaranteed Carpentry crew, to any homeowner seeking high quality work and at reasonable cost. I look forward to having Rodney rebuild my basement stairs this winter! Thanks Rodney and keep up the fantastic work!

Help to repair my shed. Some water damage and the floor replacement. Wonderful job, excellent workmanship, excellent service, timely. Cost-effective and I could not be happier. I have worked with contractors before and been burned so I was very leery of hiring another one. Rodney showed extreme professionalism, responsibility and skill. I would highly recommend him. As a matter of fact, I have asked him to come back in the spring for a couple of other fairly large Jobs!

When attempting to replace a door myself, I discovered hidden rot that required serious repair. This was a load bearing corner of the building and was rotten from a porch roof down to the sill. Rodney at Guaranteed was great. He came out same day I called to look it over and give me an estimate. Fortunately my insurance covered most of the costs of repair, but Rodney was able to do it for a reasonable price considering the supplies and complicated work it entailed. They were even able to save the original porch roof (building is circa 1900). I'm happy with the results and would recommend Guaranteed Carpentry to anyone looking for repairwork, etc.

They installed new railings on one deck and did repairs and new step on our other deck. Very pleased with the quality of their work. Feel they were priced appropriately. Great communication.

They did an excellent job replacing a very worn front porch that was very out of square that lead to some interesting challenges that they where able to overcome. They also replaced 3 post beams and where able to find the exact ones I had In place. Workers very professional and clean up after was good.
