I felt my project manager Elizabeth I. Was very knowledgeable. She gave me different opinions within different price ranges, and when questioned gave opinions on color selection. She kept me updated on scheduling. The crew that came was large enough to remove the old shingles and new ones applied in one day. They told me which gutters needed to be replaced and which didn’t. They didn’t try to sell me stuff I didn’t need, but when I asked about gutter rain guards they were able to add them. They did a great job of cleaning up after they completed the job.

Carter was extremely quick and thorough with his communication. We really appreciated his company’s willingness to help us with a quick turn around due to unforeseen circumstances. I would highly recommend giving them an opportunity.

This was my first experience having a home roof reshingled, so i had concerns regarding cost and quality. I had numerous estimate quotes, but found River City Roofers to be exceptionally professional, thorough and accommodating. When I had questions for Elizabeth, she patiently took the time to explain the process and steps involved. She and her team worked like a well oiled machine to get the job done. I am very pleased with the price, quality and service provided by River City Roofers and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone needing their services!

After I posted my initial review, River City Reached out immediately. I was admittedly skeptical about how things would go but I met with them to see how things would go and if we could get things taken care of. I was adamant that I would leave a maximum of a four star review no matter how well they did because of what happened with their former employees. However, after dealing with Elizabeth and the great work she did and how everything was handled I had to leave a five-star review.

We were kept in the loop about everything that was going on and all communications with our insurance company. Our insurance only wanted to do half of our roof, but River City did an excellent job thoroughly documenting the damage and the insurance approved a full roof replacement and gutters.

On the day of the replacement when the roof came off, it became clear that we would need a new deck for our new roof to be installed and to have it up to code. We were worried about how we would come up with the money to pay for a new deck if the insurance wouldn't cover it. Elizabeth took care of documenting everything and communicating with our insurance so that it was covered. They didn't just tell us it needed to be done and that we would have to deal with our insurance to cover the several thousand dollars, they handled everything and they did it quickly so we could continue with the roof replacement so it would be done before the approaching storm arrived. Throughout this entire process Elizabeth knew exactly how to effectively communicate with our appraiser.

The crews were great and professional, and did a great job cleaning up, we have found very little that they missed when they finished. We've had plenty of opportunity to find anything that they missed because we were doing yard work all weekend.

I was also worried we might be pressured into buying something else but that was not the case at all. Everything done was covered by our insurance and the only thing we paid out of pocket was our deductible. There was no attempt to try and do extra work and have the insurance cover the cost or try and have us pay for extra unnecessary work by saying it was needed.

After everything River City and Elizabeth did, I could tell they cared about correcting their former employees mistakes and making things right. Everything was done correctly, they took care of every small detail, and our experience more than made up for our past experience. After that I couldn't in good conscience leave just a four star review, I had to give them five stars! I highly recommend River City Roofing, we loved working with Elizabeth, she won us over and was truly amazing! They will definitely be at the top of our list for our future projects!

Our roof was damaged in 2022 in the hailstorms and my wife was working with the insurance and River City Roofing to get it repaired because I was gone with the military. The insurance adjuster said half our roof needed to be done, the person from River City said the whole roof needed to be done. I can't speak to the quality of their work because, long story short, the person from River City (don't know their name) stopped responding and never talked to our insurance. Now I'm back and it's been a couple years and I still have to get it done!

Ryan Wiese is jus totally amazing!! From start to finish, everything was quality and professional! I would happily recommend both Ryan and the company. Honest, dependable!!!

I loved the work that they did when they replaced my roof. The crew cleaned my gutters and I was very happy with the finished product.

Top tier service from these guys from start to finish. Ran into issues on the first go around on my end due to insurance issues and they understood completely and treated me with the same amount of respect when I contacted them the 2nd time to finally get it done. Mike was able to inform my insurance that the roof was far too damaged to just be repaired and negotiated with them to replace the entire roof. He responded almost immediately to any question I had and dealt with quite possibly the worst insurance adjuster I’ve ever seen in my entire life. If you need a roofer, look no further than these guys. Their service is elite and you won’t find anyone better.

I used River City Roofing when our roof needed replacing after a large storm. They were easy to work with and responsive to messages and emails. The new roof was put on in no time.

I was disappointed with my experience. I feel like the salesman just told me what I wanted to hear to make the sale but didn't worry about following through on his promises. One example was he told me they would paint my chimney chase cover to match since it was rusted, but they didn't even after I followed up with him after the job and he said they would come back to paint it. Communication was poor - they didn't let me know ahead of time when materials were going to be delivered so the materials ended up blocking my car in garage since they were left on my driveway. They didn't clean up very well after the job was completed - we found a dozen nails on our driveway and another dozen on our deck and many more scattered around the property. I have had two other roofing jobs by different companies in the past and had a better experience with the other companies overall. They did get the job done quickly, however.

Edited to note: River City followed up with me shortly after this review was posted, and they came back and painted the chimney chase cover like had originally been promised.

Overall, Jay and his team did a good job. Took less than 5 hours to re-roof my house. Very responsive except for getting the final bill which took about a month and a half.

I felt respected by River City as opposed to other companies I contacted. David returned calls and showed up on time, and he worked well with my insurance company to get the estimate done.
The crew did a fabulous job, straight lines, no exposed nails, and a through cleanup. There was a minor issue with a piece of missing ridge cap, but that was handled promptly.
No headaches as is often the case with roofing.

We hired River City Roofing to replace our hail damaged roof. The gutters were to remain. While they were tearing off the old roof, I checked my cameras at home and saw our gutters mangled up and laying on the ground. I was very concerned as they were not cover by the insurance and we had just spent a lot of money on our gutters a few years ago. The roof was done but we had no gutters which is bad at our home because without them we get some water in one corner of the basement when it rains. River City was able to get a gutter installer there within about 3 weeks which is good considering how busy everyone is this year with all the storm damage. In the end, River City worked with our insurance and explained how they had to remove the gutters to install the new drip edge for the roof. So we ended up with all new gutters that River City Roofing and our insurance company worked out the cost of. The two negatives of this experience are the anxiety over the gutters and the fact that the new gutters aren’t as deep as the old ones which would still overflow in torrential rains, but that’s rare so I don’t think it will be a problem. On the positive side, we have a new roof and gutters that look very nice and so far have functioned perfectly. That, and the fact that River City Roofing took care of us and made things right in the end. Usually when I hire a contractor there is stress, anxiety and issues involved. The difference between a good one and a bad one is the good ones work with you and take care to give you to provide a quality product in the end and reduce the anxiety. That is what River City did and I appreciate it. Thank you. On a side note, I see they did many roofs in our neighborhood and they all look nice.

They got the work done on time and fast! Answered any questions I had and completed the job professionally. I used Duot for a contractor and he did a great job!

Nice people. Fast service. Maybe a little too fast? Ultimately we just have a bad taste in our mouths. Feels like after we signed the dotted line, we got pushed through the conveyer belt with everyone else.

Replaced our roof and gutters. Broke our outdoor bench that we bought last year. Their guys are fast but they’re bulls in a china shop. Left tar on our siding and a few shingles were sticking up and weren’t glued down all the way (pictured). We asked and were told that the roof was just “settling and they will go down in a few days.” It’s been a month and I still get mad when I look at the roof.

They replaced our gutters but they threw away our gutter guards. They made a comment that they might be able to get
get replaced early in the sales process but seems like they forgot. I’m just going to buy new ones myself and install them. We’ll be out $200-$300.

Communication is a big deal for most people. Maybe developing a handout that answers frequently asked questions would help? We felt like we were having to pull teeth to get answers and now that the roof is mostly done, we just gave up on the idea of getting in touch with someone to help us.

Jay Lovell was very professional showed up exactly when he said he would was truthfull. I will recommend Rivercity to anyone needing a new roof or siding.

Michael from River City Roofing is great to work with. I honestly was not concerned about my roof after that terrible storm at the end of April but he stopped by asked to look at it with no obligation and there was no pressure to go with him or not
He is honest and straightforward. He looked at everything and made suggestions. His Roofing crew did a fantastic job. They did a great job making sure there's no garbage or nails or debris from their work and asked us to walk through it to make sure we were happy. It was also fair priced when insurance companies makes things so complicated. Would definitely recommend using them again and in a few weeks they will be replacing my gutters. RCR should have more people like Michael.

David was great from start to finish. Once the insurance company approved the work, his team was on site and completed the job in a day. They were polite, professional and very neat. I highly recommend. Here at 715am gone by 430pm. The only sign that they were here was a new roof and two blvd signs in the yard. I've never had any type of construction done where I didn't have to clean up after they were done. Brandon was great to work with, great communication and his guys delivered. Just plan excellent.
