I had a leak in my roof due to a very heavy rain storm turns out I needed a new roof. The guys came in, all were very professional, did the job and cleanup was incredible. Next is my interior ceiling and I am excited!

We initially chose Rising Star for their prompt response and positive customer service reviews, but our experience fell far short of expectations. After receiving a timely quote for a new flue liner, chimney caps, and maintenance, we quickly signed the contract and mailed a 50% deposit, as we were told work would be scheduled upon receipt. However, communication broke down almost immediately after our check was deposited.

We had to follow up multiple times to schedule the installation, and even then, things were chaotic. Our first scheduled appointment was canceled without notice, leading to unnecessary time off work. Despite reassurances from the project manager that the job would be prioritized, we spent days trying to confirm the rescheduled dates, only to be met with silence or vague promises. Ultimately, the crew arrived days later than planned.

On the day of installation, the crew showed up late, left multiple times to retrieve forgotten or broken parts, and abruptly left in the afternoon without informing us whether the job was complete or when they’d return to retrieve their tools (which are still at our house). We were left unsure if it was safe to turn the furnace back on or use our fireplace, and once again, no one was available to provide answers without persistent follow-up on our end. It took us three days of calling and leaving messages just to reach someone to confirm that the work was completed and let them know we have their tools.

Overall, Rising Star’s communication and scheduling were unprofessional and caused significant inconvenience. We lost three days of work for a one-day project and had to chase updates daily, which is completely unacceptable. When hiring a contractor, we expect proactive scheduling, clear communication, and reliability—none of which we received. We regret hiring Rising Star and would not recommend their services.

Rising Star Roofing was really incredible. They did a great job on the installation, and worked quickly and efficiently. They were a HUGE help in dealing with a very reluctant insurance company and helped get our claim approved by supporting us and providing us with information the insurance company really did not want to provide for us. Can't recommend them highly enough. They've also done some chimney work for us which was also excellent.

Rising Star Roof is top tier. First, I want to tell you how Marie took the initiative and worked tooth and nail with my insurance to get approval. It was becoming exhausting for me, and Marie took over and handled all the paperwork. Chris has been phenomenal. From the time he looked at the roof, he told me that I would have no worries and needed to relax. I did just that. Thank you to Rising Star Roof!

This is a good company to work with. Professional and reasonably priced. However I do with they took electronic payments either over the phone or on thier website. It was pretty inconvenient to have to drive to their office to make an cash payment in person for the deposit.

The owner is very professional and responds quickly with questions and concerns. I think that is very important when dealing with contractors. He shows up promptly and on time. Very hard to find a contractor like that these days. I will highly recommend this company.

We had our roof done by rising star this week. Our roof was very old (had no idea when it was last done) we had to use much more wood then first thought. The team not only still was able to get it done in 2 days but they helped with financing.

I personally appreciated the honesty. We had a flat roof on our home that had the roof done in the last few years, instead of just ripping it up they called and said they will take the difference and send us a check if we didn’t want to do it. This gave me and my wife comfort that we picked the right company.
