I used Rick and his team to build a deck on the back of my house and I’m really satisfied with the way it came out. Rick backs up all his work and he shows up when he’s supposed to and he does what he says I would definitely use him again.

Rick’s replaced several porch columns and trim around our house. He was always on time and got the work done in a timely manner. I will definitely use him again!

I highly recommend Rick's carpentry as a fist stop for your particular needs. He corrected a Backyard Discovery pergola that was originally poorly assembled by professionals recommended by Angie's. His team realigned it to perfection.

Hired Rick and his company to make repairs to my deck and shed. He made recommendations to help bring the deck and shed back to its former glory and didn't try to oversell me on anything I didn't need. The work was done quickly and done well. Great experience - Rick helped me rebuild a rotting deck and steps to my shed and rebuilt a door threshold that was allowing water into the building. Rick got back to me quickly, showed up when he said he would, and put together a fair quote for services. His team started work right away and did a quality job.

I needed a laundry room door replaced and Rick came out to my home expeditiously to assess the situation and to give me a quote. The price was very reasonable and in fact was the same as his estimate; no surprises there. Rick and his associate, Chris, came out early to my home and got to work immediately. The old door and frame were removed without issue and the new door and frame professionally installed. Both Rick and Chris were very collaborative and kept me informed as to the progress. The door looks fantastic and will no doubt increase the overall value of the home. As a bonus, the old door and all the old trim were taken away and the laundry room cleaned up better than it was when they first arrived. Honest, professional, collaborative: it all adds up to great value. I appreciate having a contractor who does quality work on time and in a most friendly, collaborative manner. Professional experience from start to finish. Showed up exactly on time and got to work replacing my front door. Work quality was excellent as well, and made sure I saw everything working properly before departing. Will use again for any future jobs.

Rick and his team installed a new door for us. The doorway needed to be reframed, new weather stripping installed and the door cut down to size so it was not a straightforward job. The installation was perfect. Team was lovely, efficient and cleaned up perfectly.

Rick and Chris were a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely hire them again for any carpentry needs at my home. Rick showed up on time for an initial walkthrough and promptly delivered a reasonable, itemized estimate. He and his workers showed up a week later (as scheduled and on time each day) and did a great job replacing a privacy fence and gate, deck, and adjusting some of our home’s doors. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Rick is professional, responsive and stands behind his work. He installed doors for me at 2 different properties and each time he showed up when he said he would; did a great job and left the work site clean. His prices are fair and his work is great. I highly recommend him

We had 2 older wooden decks that needed replacement. Rick and his people came in and very quickly built 2 new Trex porches that are fantastic. I should have paid them a bonus.

In April, Rick's Carpentry did repairs on an exterior shed/enclosure as well as adjusting some doors at my home. When Rick came out to give me the estimate, he was professional, patient, and accommodating with my questions and concerns. Although they were busy, he made the extra effort to fit me in with consideration to my work schedule. During the two days of the job, the two-man crew was prompt, considerate, skilled, and super nice. One request I have for the future is that they please let the customer know when they are leaving the property; I did discuss with Rick and he was very receptive. Rick stayed in communication during the job as issues arose and were dealt with. He returned after job completion and finalized everything with me to my satisfaction. Even though Rick wasn't able to help me, he recommended a carpenter local to my area and was friendly and helpful.

I was looking for a carpenter for quite some time to do some repair work on my work shed/man cave and I was lucky enough to come across Rick with Rick’s carpentry when I contacted him he did say he was a little far out but within 3 days he was at my house discussing what I needed done .He work me in the schedule and he demoed damage wood subfloor Anded in some new floor runners redecked with 2 layers 3/4 pt plywood talk about solid as concrete, then removed and reframed the side that was leaking and had water damaged and installed new plywood and siding removed and replaced all my facial if you looking for a professional contractor that has the skill and true tradesmen ship of construction then I surely recommend Rick ,thanks for all your hard work looks great .

Rick and his team were awesome. They were prompt, completed the job on time as promised and worked our job in a couple of days sooner than expected. The new patio roof and all the necessary painting and wood replacement was very well done. It was a pleasant experience working with them on our repairs. I recommend Rick’s Carpentry very highly.

Rick is great with picking up the phone and responding quickly. I went with him because of his advertised guaranteed work.

He came out immediately, which was a blessing, and offered a quick turnaround to fix my door threshold problem.

However, the next day after his fix, I discovered the door leaking worse (after a hard rain) than the original threshold.

I contacted him via text and he responded by telling me to fix other things besides, such as replacing the weatherstripping, adding caulking, and clearing my gutters. (All good ideas mind you but none of them were giving me issues before). After fixing the issues myself, the door continued to leak in the next storm.

I communicated this to him and asked if he could come back out. He responded by saying he wont have any time to come back out to see his work and instead told me to add a storm door.

I just wanted a new threshold...not a whole door system. I’m disappointed that Rick did not live up to his work guarantee.

Had my fence replaced by Rick. The guys took there time on the job and made sure it was done right. If I must say so myself, you are not going to find better quality for your money. Very satisfied. It feels really good to spend money, see the finished product and know that it was money well spent. If this is how you want to feel Rick is the man for the job.

I called Rick to get a quote on some odd and end things around the house. He came out at my convenience on a Saturday morning and had me a quote for labor and materials with in a couple hours. I decided to hire him and I am glad I did. His men arrived as scheduled, with all the tools and materials needed and they completed the job with professionalism. I would definitely hire him again and I will also recommend to friends and family. Very Pleased.
