I had a great experience working with RIBA Construction and project manager HB. I contacted them about a skylight project. HB worked with the roofing company I hired to coordinate placement/installation. RIBA also did the drywalling and paint (thank you Gabriel), and it looks fantastic. The skylight also has a remote control shade. My extra bedroom/office has been transformed. Thank you!

Everyone at RIBA was helpful and responsive. We needed our roof replaced quickly and they made it happen with a minimum of effort on my part. The crew was friendly and cleaned everything up before they left.

Riba Construction has done a fantastic job on our home. New roof, siding and 25 windows. Price was middle of the road but the level of performance and personal Ritz Carlton touch was incredible and should not be underestimated. 100% support your decision to choose them.

Richard, HB, and the crew are perfectionists. They have provided incredible value and a standard that the rest of the industry should follow (but likely not). From the initial no pressure contact in person to every site visit everything was smooth and a pleasure. This is our 5th home and I can tell you that never had I had such a great experience. Don't be deceived by other brand name companies that give the dog and pony show and want that commitment before they leave or else the price goes up. That is BAD business. Richard and Riba NEVER operate that way. Richard is honest, genuine and up front about cost and expected costs. He and the team do the job right!

I would not use this company. We hired them to do some roof repairs 2 years ago. First they did not perform the work we discussed and left one board in the roof that was moldy and damaged. We had to get them to come back and redo some of the roof work they had already completed. Now 2 years later, we have a leak in the same place but their warranty is only for 1 year. Not sure if the leak was ever fixed but it certainly is not now.

Giant waste of time and money using this company for our roof repair.

Our own experience working with them to install new interior doors only confirmed that great experience further. From start to end, our project manager HB was very responsive and knowledgeable. The staff Juan and Carlos were efficient, detail-oriented and professional in their work. The entire process from estimate to final touch-ups was smooth, transparent and pleasant. I can't say enough great things about RIBA Construction (and my main point of contact, HB).

When I had first found them, I needed some work done on the siding of my home due to leaking that was occurring around the exterior windows. HB was very quick to respond to my initial email and promptly had his office schedule a date for an estimate. While most contractors simply send a simple list of things they plan to do with an astronomical bill, HB instead sent me a very detailed rundown of exactly what he and his team were going to do to fix the siding. They also provided me with various options, ranging from lesser-expensive options that would provide the bare minimum fix to more expensive options that would fully cover all of the windows in my home. I really appreciated this level of detail and options to proceed, especially since we were trying to stay within a certain budget at the time. We ultimately ended up going "somewhere in the middle" and got the work done that was necessary to stop leaking on the most exposed sides of the home. That work was done over a year ago, and has held up exceptionally since then. Our windows no longer leak.

A year later (just last week at the time of me writing this review), I again had some leaking issues but this time it was in my basement, due to poor relocation of rain water from my gutter system. To make a long story short, the gutters were in dire need of a cleaning, as well as something to prevent build-up in the future. I reached out to RIBA and HB since I knew they did work on gutters, and HB explained that gutter guards that they install would be recommended for our home. Again, HB was very, very detailed in answering all of my questions and providing us with all of the details of the work to be completed. Not only that, but he would reply to my emails very promptly, sometimes even on the weekends! We ended up going with the gutter guard solution, which included a deep gutter cleaning. While in most areas of the house the water drainage was fixed, there was one corner that still was showing signs of the gutters overflowing and causing rain water to run down the side of the house. I contacted HB mentioning this, and he personally came out the very next day and investigated. It turns out one of my gutters had quite a bit of build up from neglect over the past couple of years which he was able to unclog. He did all of that as part of the original work to install the gutter guards. Time will tell, but it looks like the extensive gutter cleaning and gutter guards will be able to prevent any further leakage from rain water in my basement.

I was left speechless from this experience with RIBA and HB. Most contractors I've dealt with since moving to this area are slow to respond (or don't reply at all), very brief in their explanations, and perform sub-par work. RIBA Construction is the exact opposite and in my experience, does everything as you'd hope and expect from a contractor. If in the future I ever need any work done that they can potentially perform, they will absolutely be my first contact. Now if only I could find myself an electrician, plumber, etc. who operated as professional as RIBA...

Riba Construction was thoroughly professional and offered a fair and reasonable price for their services! Their estimator and all service professionals were prompt and came through as promised. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will likely utilize their services for future projects!

Riba did excellent work and provided exceptional customer service in replacing two skylights which were over 30 years old. Currently available skylights are slightly smaller so they installed molding around the edges in the interior shaft so the metal framing would not be visible. This proved to be a challenge given all the angles and slants in the shaft, but Riba came back twice to ensure the job was completed in a high quality manner. Riba also repaired where a leak had damaged the wall and repainted the room. I had used Riba on a previous job and will definitely use them again given the outstanding job they've done both times!

I was looking for honest service which has considerable expertise to fix a damaged area by squirrel on the trim of the roof of my townhouse. I had invited a few estimates and eventually decided to have "RIBA Construction" do the job. They provided professional services at a fair price and good quality. They worked efficiently and were very responsive. Mr. HB, a project manager, is a real gentleman. He explained and documented my project clearly and step by step including how the repair would be performed. Their crews were indeed very experienced specialists. The work was solidly done. I feel that it's my good luck to have found this service company. It's a 5-stars service. I will definitely come back to them if I'll need any roofing or exterior repair in the future. Put on a new roof, gutters with guards, capped all trim, and put in a skylight. Riba was great! Worked with HB and he is the best. Helped us figure out exactly what we needed and could do based on our ideas. They had many options and were priced competitively. They were wonderful to work with and would easily use them again!

Pricing was affordable and HB and his crew were super-responsive. They did a great job repairing and sealing our leaky sun porch roof. I would definitely use them again.

RIBA construction was the best experience I have ever had with a construction / remodeling company. I had a custom job converting an unfinished building to a small business commercial retail space. The owner, Rich, personally came out to look at my project and was a true advisor to me on what things I needed to consider to avoid future problems, save money, and achieve the visual outcome I was hoping for. I found the entire transaction highly honest and with the upmost integrity. I was truly inspired by the wealth and depth of knowledge displayed in the design phase of the project. The crew that came out to do the work was on time, cleaned up diligently every day, displayed a high level of professionalism and produced the highest quality end product I could have imagined. Every time there was a slight deviation in plan they walked me through the options and fully explained the best resolution – and most importantly kept me in budget without charging me extra – it was as if they were committed to me and this project rather than boosting revenue and profits – this was a breath of fresh air as compared to some of my previous experiences with other companies. My small business commercial retail space is now completely finished – Insulation, drywall, flooring, door and window installation, painting, trim and molding work and roofing – all brilliantly done. The end result is phenomenal – RIBA is the last construction / remolding company I will ever need – they are now my go-to for all things. You will be in good hands with RIBA.

Great experience with RIBA from start to finish. After looking as several choices I worked with Rich determining the type of windows that i needed which would work best within my budget. I had several choices of trim and Rich helped me decide the best color that would accent my brick home. I was given a date to expect delivery and installation. Because rain was foretasted and potentially would push the installation, RIBA worked with me to store the windows in a more convenient location in my back yard where they would be out of my way. Rich assured me that his crews are very trustworthy; since I couldn't be home on the day of installation, I really had no choice. RIBA is bonded & insured. When I returned home all of the windows were in place. I noticed shoes by the door; they took them off as not to mar or soil my hardwood floors & carpet. I didn't ask. When finished they cleaned up...everything. The window quality was exactly what I ordered; the trim work was over & above what I expected; excellent work. I would (and have) highly recommend RIBA for home improvement work. Looking forward to my new RIBA roof next month.

RIBA did an amazing job, and were the best price around with out a doubt for our roof. There installers were very respectful of our house and yard and cleaned up after themselves perfectly.

After having hail damage to our roof, we needed a roofer to come out and check things out. Fortunately RIBA came out with our insurance adjuster and worked along side them to make sure they were our advocate throughout the process. RIBA took an old, dusty basement and turned it into a master bathroom and bedroom. Excellent work and timely service. Usually with most construction and remodeling companies, you become familiar with your point of contact's voice mail, Ryan Baxter always answered the phone or immediately called me back. I would definitely recommend RIBA and Ryan.

RIBA Construction did an excellent job recently replacing our roof. I highly recommend them and will hire them again for more work outside of our home. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. They were great to work with on this project. They came in and did a free estimate of what was needed and took pictures to show us our roof damage. They came back and worked with our insurance adjustor as well. They explained the process thoroughly including all of our options for types of roofs, colors, and styles. They had affordable pricing and helped us select the best options for our home. Our roof was completed in one day and they were with us every step of the way. They left our house with a completely new roof and absolutely no evidence that they had even been there. We were extremely please with their work. Thank you RIBA Construction, you did a great job!

These guys came out and bid on a roofing replacement I had. They were the least expensive of the three, and although I usually go for the "middle" bid, something told me these guys would do a great job. They traveled pretty far from the city to my house, and it took them three days to get the roof off and a new one put on. No complaints about the long drive. They were professional, someone was supervising all the time, and they cleaned up everything before they left. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend them.

I am updating my review after speaking with the company. The miscommunication has been cleared up. Other than the communication issue, I have no reason to believe this company is bad or provides bad customer service.

They came out twice to meet with the insurance adjuster. They worked with the insurance adjuster with minimal input needed on my behalf. They have worked on several homes in my neighbors and their work appears to be solid.

Highly recommend RIBA. They were great to work with from start to finish, especially project manager Daniel Walston - he was timely, knowledgeable, professional & thorough. The roof was installed on time, within the estimate, and we are pleased with the finished product!

Wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the roofing replacement you provided for our home. Every aspect of the project, from the best value of six contract bids, to the interest and care of us as customers was superb. The way I think it should be done. Your installation team worked like a well oiled machine and the final product showed. It all started with the superior professionalism of Ryan who went well above and beyond to take great care of us. He, like few others, provide regular follow up before and after the job.
The topper was when I found out that they employ veterans, made it even better. The company President made a visit to the work site during the construction work.
A neighbor saw the work and asked about our satisfaction. They call shortly thereafter to get an estimate. We received RIBA Construction as a recommendation from a friend who know how particular we are about our home improvement / renovation contractors. They exceeded our expectation!

TRUST--We live overseas and contacted RIBA when our tenants called about water coming from the ceiling. RIBA was there same day. Diagnosed problem, dried out the area, and worked with tenant and us to create a plan, fix, and remediation. Outstanding communication- pictures, text, emails. I knew what was happening at every step. When tenant lumped in several other requests for "fixes" RIBA provided a fair assessment as to what needed to be done vs what was nice to have done. I can sum up my experience: both the tenant and I believe they gave an accurate picture as to what needed to be done and what could be done. There was no sales pitch to do more: only information so that we could make decisions. I will happily use them again in the future without fear of being oversold because I am not present for the quote or work.

Excellent Work! Riba redid my outdated 40 old bathroom that had 1960's yellow tile and tub. Updated fixtures, paint job and plumbing as well. Total over haul that adds significant value to the home.
Arrived on time everyday and knocked out the project quickly. Easy to work with and very responsive. Will hire again.

We hired RIBA to install a roof but did not resist the first heavy rain downfall and leaked all the way through the sidings down to our extension floor. RIBA has admittedly recognized that no sealing was put around the chimney !. This was clearly a result of negligence and of a non-supervised work.

Before this leak has happened, we have made a mistake to hire RIBA to remodel our basement. This six-week basement project has turned into a nightmare. Nine months have passed, yes nine months, since RIBA has started the project but could not finish the job. Each time RIBA gets paid they stop working. The project has required the involvement of our lawyer to get it moving. I don’t think RIBA cares much about anything but cash in the checks and the soonest. Once the contract is signed and the advance cashed in, RIBA does no supervision, does no quality control and would only manifest itself to demand payments……. A very stressful experience.

RIBA construction built a portico on my front entrance. Can not say enough good things on how professional the entire process was. The goal was to make it unique but also to make it look like it was part of the original plan. From the owner to each craftsman that worked on the project, the results were the same - outstanding. First of all they were on time and let us know exactly what was going on every step of the process. At the end of the day, everything was cleaned up. When we had questions or decisions to make, there was never any rushing us. They always brought in an expert on the subject matter and offered us several options (sometimes several times). Even when changes were made to the original plans, things went very smoothly. My wife and I are exceptionally pleased with everything. If you take a look at pictures of the portico ( should be on their website) you will see the quality of the workmanship.
I can not say enough good things about Richard and his entire crew. Any additional work I have done on our house will be with RIBA Construction.

Vice President Ryan Baxter came to my home to give me an estimate to replace my roof. We talked about what needed to be done and he said he'd have an estimate to me in a few days. That was about 3 weeks ago. Needless to say I have already chosen a different company. I could have called RIBA about it but honestly if a company can't manage their time properly to get me an estimate in a timely manner, it does not bode well that they'll be able to manage my install well either. There are plenty of roofing companies in the area. If they were too busy for my business they should have told me when I called, and save both of us a wasted hour. Two stars because he arrived to the estimate in the time window.

Things went by quickly and on schedule. I called for a free estimate. Gene came by and was very friendly and professional. He provided the estimate, walked us through the process and answered our questions immediately. Appointment booked, materials delivered and roof replaced. It was that quick and it looks great. We love our new roof! Thank you!

We contracted RIBA construction to replace our roof. Their staff was very professional throughout the whole project — from estimate to completion. Everything was finished on time and they ensured everything was clean before departing. We’re very pleased with the finished result. Would rehire without hesitation.

We had a wonderful experience working with RIBA and, importantly, they saved us money. RIBA liasoned with my insurance company and helped us through the claims process, even helping us to get a FULL siding replacement instead of just a repair; which would have been slightly off-color since my previous siding was old and sun-faded and an exact match was not possible. Their Storm Damage specialist really knew the ins and outs of the process, and patiently carried us through it. They replaced both my roof and siding and the work was impeccable. The crew was very courteous, timely, and clearly skilled. We could not have had a better experience. Riba was referred to me by my neighbor who had nothing but positive things to say. They were reliable, professional and I was happy with the work done in our home.

All of the RIBA employees were very professional and delivered on what they told me they would do on time. RIBA worked with my insurance to explain the fact the decking was too thin and not code and needed to replace everything. I was highly pleased with the work and would recommend them again to my friends - I have. Additionally, I have them scheduled to do some additional soffett work to increase venting and am sending to my parents to quote them on a porch extension.
Entire roof was replaced due to wind damage. And all wood decking under the shingles was replaced to bring the thickness of the decking wood up to current code.
