Ryan Sullivan and his team at Resurrection Builders were hands down the best builder I have ever worked with. He delivered on time and on budget, communicated clearly before and during the project, and exceeded my expectations on quality. I felt a high level of trust with his team, who had been working with him for years (they are a third generation family owned business). They were courteous and respectful to both me and my property and an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

We recently hired Resurrection Builders to transform our old wood deck into a brand new screened-in porch, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! What was once a weathered deck is now a beautiful, zero-maintenance outdoor living space that we’ll enjoy for years to come.

Ryan and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were punctual, professional, and incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the entire project. Every step of the process was smooth and stress-free, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself.

If you're considering a screened-in porch or any similar project, we highly recommend Resurrection Builders. Thank you again, Ryan and team, for bringing our vision to life!

Ryan and his crew have rebuilt our deck and installed new flooring in our kitchen/sunroom. His crew does a great job in taking care of the little things and making sure the job is done right.

I usually don't write reviews but I had to because of my disgust with this company. I have used them several times to repair my sunsetter awning. On multiple occasions, while repairing my awning, they have caused additional damage. First they broke the motor on the awning while repairing it, the second time was the LED lights and the third time was the fabric. On all occasions, I was responsible for footing the bill or replacing the parts. Luckily I had a 5 year warranty with sunsetter, however I was still responsible for paying the shipping which can be very pricey. The last visit to repair my awning, the initial cost that was quoted to me was $650, however when the repairs were complete, the cost was $1000. When asked why the cost of the repairs was so much more than what was quoted I was told that they had to make several trips to complete the repair. The story behind this is, after they repaired the awning the first time, I came home hours after the awning was repaired and tried to open it. They had multiple opportunities to tell me that the repair arm was broken during delivery and I should not try to open it, but they did not convey this to me. I still question whether the repair men damaged the awning when they were installing it as they have damaged many of the parts before. I was told that the fabric got damaged while opening the awning that they did not instruct me not to open and I was expected to pay for a new fabric as my warranty had expired. When I refused, I was asked to call sunsetter and tell them that the fabric was damaged during shipping. When I refused to do that, they found some way for sunsetter to send me new fabric and returned to fix the awning and slapped $350 extra dollars on my bill. I own an business too and would never pass on extra costs to my customers if the service I provided was not top-notch. Apparently this company does not care about customers and customer satisfaction.

Requested quote for deck refurbish/addition. Ryan came out and I explained what my ideas were. He took measurements and said he would contact me in a few days with the quote. A few days go by and I get an email telling me they are too busy and will not be providing a quote. What? If you are busy then dont come out !!! Bottom line, my job must not have been profitable enough. Fine, but dont hand me the we are too busy line. Very unprofessional !!!

Ryan and his crew stepped in to do our master bath renovation after our first contractor suddenly passed away. We are beyond thrilled with the quality of work this team provided. Their attention to detail and conscientiousness were tremendous. Even other subcontractors commented on the professionalism of the team and the quality of the work. They listened to our requests, made changes when needed, and delivered a gorgeous bathroom that we will use for years.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
