Restoration Builders of Indiana

I hired them a few months ago to do a small roof for me, it’s been over a month with no communication, the roof they had installed is leaking, no gutters, facia or soffit installed yet. I now have to hire another company to come finish up my project as it’s costing me everyday that I wait on them.

I would like to thank Restoration Builders for an absolutely beautiful job on my roof, and to Rob & Leona I’m forever grateful & thankful for you. Most definitely will be doing more business with this company again gutters & siding will be next. Thank you so very much

I hired Restoration Builders for new siding. They did handle the insurance claim well and started installation within the given timeframe. The problems came after installation. I found at least 100 nails in my gravel driveway, as well as flaking paint and foam backing from the old siding all over my property. A professional company should lay down tarps and clean up better. They also dented/scratched existing window trim and tore numerous screens while removing the old aluminum siding. Most of the new siding looked good, however there were a couple sections with bowed siding and gaps around trim. The workers did not speak English to discuss my issues and the quality control guy Dave came while I wasn't home and signed off on the job. After I contacted him about the issues he came back out and agreed repairs were needed. It then took 6 weeks and repeated contact to get them out to repair the siding. They never repaired the screens or trim. Furthermore, after receiving a note from the water department that my meter wasn't working, I realized they installed the outside meter upside down with a broken wire, which I fixed myself. Due to lack of professionalism I cannot recommend this company. A better cleanup and prompt repairs would have received a much better review.

Restoration Builders has been absolutely wonderful to work with! Eli Muhm is the most client focused individual I've worked with in ANY industry. He's knowledgeable, extraordinarily helpful, ultra-responsive, and just cares. You can tell it's genuine and not fake. He helped me through every step of the process in getting my roof and gutters approved by insurance, and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Restoration Builders, but I'd definitely ask to work with Eli.

Joshua Muhm was a pleasure to work with. Very responsive, communication was awesome, I always knew the timing of the home repairs and they were always on time with what he stated. I would definitely recommend calling Joshua and using this company.

I could not be happier. Joshua Muhm gave me his word he could get my siding approved after several companies for years couldn't. He came through in a big way. Also got new roofing approved. The work itself was phenomenal. The roof looks great, the siding is amazing, all the small details done in the work shows they really care about the job they're doing. Could not recommend them enough. Even referred a friend to them for his siding and roof!

Significant other had Siding, roofing, and gutters replaced on house this year (Spring 2022). They put a nail through a wire, killing power to half of the home for 4 days, had to hire his own electrician, Restoration builders said they would reimburse for the expense but did not. Did not haul away old gutters and siding causing it to be left by the road. They also left nails throughout the yard, driveway, sidewalks causing two flat tires(same nails found in tires) and could have punctured our shoes, including a child that lives in the home. Very irresponsible on their part to not clean up properly.

Had storm/hail damage to our roof/gutters. The beginning of the process was great, they started the paperwork with our insurance company to get everything covered, and did the inspection to see what all was needed. It took several months, but they were probably busy and insurance can be slow. When it came to the point of going over our options, there was room for improvement but it was still a decent experience at that point. It was not until the actual replacement of our roof and gutters that we had issues. There was absolutely no communication prior to them showing up. Normally it would not an issue, but I had a week old newborn at home and with no notice I did not have time to make arrangements for us to be elsewhere. I did not realize they did not replace the gutters during that visit, so they showed up randomly a few weeks later (again, no prior notice) to replace those. They did call this time, but it was the DAY OF. 7am We get woken up because they need to plug their equipment into either our garage or house! Again, normally I would not have an issue but with the baby it caused problems. The roof itself looks great after replacement though. Fast forward 8 months. My insurance company calls to notify me that they’re sending the additional funds needed. Surprise to me, but okay no problem. 2 months later RBI shows up unannounced to pick up their check. They seem nice enough but the lack of communication borderlines rude. Overall, very mixed feelings. Work seemed decent but communication was severely lacking and made them seem unprofessional.

While we haven't had the work done yet. We have started the process and Joshua and Jim have helped us through this process. Jim explained all our options and helped us get exactly what we need and want! We owe Joshua for taking the initiative and helping us get the repairs needed after storm damage. I am so excited I listened to him and trusted the process. Thank you! Now we just have to wait for it all to be completed!!

Worked with Josh for Roof inspection and repairs. Very professional and responsive. Answered all my questions and worked with insurance company to get repairs completed.

Josh Grah is amazing. He took care of my 91 year old mother with the most professionalism, character and knowledge. He treated her like she was his mom.

-His name was Aaron Shaw who knocked at my door just two weeks after I had received 2 bids from other roofing & siding companies which their bids were a bit out of my price range. Little did I know he was about to show me how I can save thousands of dollars of my own money and claim the repairs to my insurance company due to weather damage that had occurred some time back. And besides that the insurance company did agree with the damage and the repair work of my roof and siding will be starting soon.

Nicholas B. Did a wonderful job walking us through the process of getting our new roof. He was very polite and informative. It's nice to work with someone who has a real passion for their job. 5 out of 5 would recommend this company.

Elijah Muhm is exceptional at what he does. He is very knowledgeable in his profession. He was always a phone call away and is one of the hardest working people I know. Elijah gets the job done!

While I cant use their services because I am a renter, I can speak on Elijah as a person. I've known Elijah for 14 years. We didnt get along in the beginning, however, he has grown to be an amazing person. He is trustworthy, loyal, and honest! He absolutely loves his job and is very passionate about helping people with their homes.

David and Jim have been incredible throughout this process. They've been on-time, extremely detailed, and have patiently explained every step of this process. They've also been excellent in working with my insurance in getting all of the necessary repairs covered.

Elijah was very informative and educated in his field. He was able to help me assess a bad situation and got me in the right direction. It was refreshing to finally have some professionalism in this line of work.

These guys are so knowledgeable on shingles and roofing. They definitely know their stuff! Ask for Elija. He told me everything I need to do. I feel like if you mentioned my name he’d probably definitely give you the right treatment. 10 out 10 would use again.

Elijah was who I worked with, and I would highly recommend working with him. He’s extremely knowledgeable and just understands his business and the inner workings of damage caused by weather and then the insurance side of it to make sure it is all covered. I have worked with him multiple times in the past, and I will DEF do so again in the future.

We worked with Elijah from this company and he was outstanding. Our insurance company didn't want to replace our siding and it took 2 months of battling with them to get it approved. Elijah was confident that he would beat the insurance company on the claim, and sure enough, he did.
Our new siding looks great and the staff that came out to install it were very kind and professional.

RBI helped me get storm damage repaired through my insurance. They were very helpful & kept me informed through every step of the process. My representative Elijah was always helpful and attentive. He always was available to answer any questions I had and was very knowledgeable about the entire process. If you have storm damage and are looking to get it repaired, I HIGHLY recommend working with RBI & their awesome staff.

Excellent customer service very polite and professional answered my questions honestly and the gentle that came to my home was Jim Mendoza he was fantastic.My sales rep was Josh Grah a man that knows his job.Would highly recommend them.

The whole team at NRC worked with my insurance which barley wanted to help at all. Took the headache out of it and fought them to get what I deserved. Josh was great and really cared to help get this done
