Everyone I’ve met with Rent Painters has been a true pleasure to have at our home; each person has demonstrated great skill, professionalism and kindness. I was initially impressed by their excellent responsiveness as well as scheduling flexibility. I have also been grateful that they are clear and upfront about what’s possible (and not!) in talking through a potential scope of work. Both times they presented savings relative to other bids we solicited, and each time they stuck to their requested scope of work and budget with no surprises.

Excellent work, communication, and all around experience. I originally called them out for a fairly small touch up job on one room, but decided we actually needed a whole other room painted. They were able to diagnose problems with the original paint, identify a better type of paint to use, and picked it up for us before the job. And they got us on their schedule super quickly. Would hire them again.

Rent was great! Extremely responsive and professional. I got a quote online using their calculator and scheduled their service without a visit beforehand, and was pleased they sent someone on Day 1 to go over details not covered by the online calculator (e.g. repair roof leak before painting, paint fireplaces, which holes to patch, etc) and answer all my questions. Their team was efficient and detail oriented. Very happy.

We have used Rent Painters multiple times at our rental property in DC. The quality of their work is excellent. They bring expertise, are communicative before and after the job and are cost effective. We've recommended them to friends who have also been highly satisfied - we plan to use them for all of our future painting needs!

Absolutely baffled after reading all these 5 star reviews. I made time to see Chris Montoya to show him a bookcase that needed to be spray painted. He spent all of 3 to 5 minutes with me and didn't give me a quote and was not the painter. It's been over two days since and all I have gotten is an auto email to review them. When I called him to follow up two days later to get an explanation as to why I hadn't heard back I got an overseas answering service in spite of the fact that it was a local number, presumably for Chris Montoya. I'm not blaming him so much as the system he seems to be operating in. He himself seemed professional enough. The individual on the phone gave me an office number which I tried and when I got through there was a generic outgoing message and then the line went dead. Tried again and I got the same. I still don't have a quote.. If they don't want my business that's all fine and dandy but I thought I'd give them a try..

Rent Painter's entire team is professional, does good work, and is highly efficient. They did a fairly large job for us very nicely and quite quickly -ahead of schedule.

After receiving multiple bids, I decided to go with Rent Painters based on their reputation and competitive pricing. This was a great decision. The new siding I had painted on the exterior of my home looks amazing! The painters were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. I plan to use Rent Painters for another job in the next few weeks.

I’ve used Rent Painters for a few things over the years, and they consistently provide quality work at a reasonable price. I’ve done exterior painting, interior painting, and a decent size carpentry and drywall job (adding a door, removing some ductwork bulkhead and refinishing, and closing up a wall) with a bit of electric, basically adding an outlet and moving another one. Chris and his crew always do a good job in a prompt time frame for a realistic price.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Rent Painters! I was looking for a Local Painting company and hired them to paint the entire interior of my apartment and was really impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work.

Scheduled an appointment online for an estimate in person and received confirmation via email and also saved web browser confirmation. No one showed up, and called at the confirmed time bc no one had reached out, they could not find my appointment and the person I spoke with over the phone could not get in contact with someone to get back to me or confirm they were potentially running late.

Hire Rent Painters! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
We used Rent Painters (December 2023) to stain our 200 foot fence (2 coats, both sides). We had a consultation with Chris so he could see what was needed for the job, so he could give us a quote. We were going to get quotes from a couple of other companies, but we felt that Chris and Rent Painters gave us a very fair price quote. So we didn’t get any other quotes and went with Rent Painters! And we are glad we did!!!
Chris was always very responsive (via text, phone) before the job with any questions or concerns we had.
The day of the job, one of his workers, Eric showed up on time at 10am. I was a little concerned at first that it was only 1 person doing the job…but once Eric got started and I saw how hard he worked-my worries went out the door! Eric finished around 5pm. He did a great job! He was very considerate and mindful of making sure to tidy up and take everything he had brought with him, and throw all garbage away.
We will be using Rent Painters again next time we stain the fence!

Rent Painters did a fantastic job painting the interior of our 2 story condo building in Georgetown. They were professional, finished ahead of schedule, and did a great job cleaning up as well. I have no idea if there service was good or not and I have told them that more than once. They were contracted by my realtor and I never saw their work before the house was sold. However, they keep bothering me looking for a review and they get a bad one for being overly aggressive

I had a painter (unfortunately I forgot his name) paint a bedroom that also needed some patching. He painted walls, doors, and all trim and did a really great job. I am very pleased with the work.

To meet deadline they used 7 painter to complete my interior painting before my furniture was delivered 2 hour after they finished. Best painting company around Maryland

Chris at Rent Painters was recommended to me by a neighbor whose house they had recently painted from top to bottom. This neighbor friend of mine always uses contractors recommended by Angie’s list, so I thought this was a good direction to go in. Chris was prompt in coming over to give us an estimate which seem very reasonable. Part of the way into the job, my wife and I decided to add some additional work and Chris was very agreeable to making the changes on the spot. He and his crew were very professional, prompt and did an excellent job, much faster than I expected for such extensive work. He always checked in with his crew and us to see how the work was progressing . Even a after the job was completed, he send his guys back to take care of a couple small areas that needed some additional attention. Suffice it to say, my wife and I are extremely happy with the job Chris and Rent Painters did for us. We would highly Recommend them for anyone in the future. Five stars for Rent painters.
