I’ve been waiting for this day for three years. Why? Well, three years ago this company caused a flood that did $35,000.00 worth of damage to my property and nearly $100,000 total to my neighbors and common areas of the community. Then my homeowner’s association came after me directly to cover the $50,000.00 deductible on damages to the common areas of the property. I struggled for years with their insurance company to get reimbursement for the damages which I had to pay out of pocket to repair. Due to a lack of progress, I had to hire a lawyer to pursue action in a court of law which cost an additional $10,000.00 worth of unrecoverable charges (Virginia’s adheres to the “American Rule” that lawyer fees are not recoverable as damages). Then they insulted me with an offer of $21,000.00 to settle my claim or pay additional unrecoverable lawyer fees to try and get the full amount in court. Basically, it cost me $24,000.00 for them to damage my property and make me a pariah in my community. Do you really want to take a chance with people like this working on your property? It’s your call, but I would stay far, far away from them.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I received my first estimate from them 8/8/24. The work was completed 12/2. Over the course of those 3 months they were constantly unresponsive, left work unfinished for weeks and misquoted/didn’t finish the job. Example: they quoted me $900 for plantation shutters. THEIR vendor did the measurements, ordered them, realized they were the wrong size and then backed out of the quoting process. They then brought in a new vendor who quoted me 2k+. No ownership of their mistake, no discounts they just threw their hands up and said it is what it is.

Ultimately it was a small job, took 3 months, didn’t communicate and did a mediocre job. Don’t use them.
