Our experience with Gar and his team were fantastic!! He came to the house, met with us asking questions and being very attentive. They were careful moving stuff around, did super work and completed it faster than we thought. They put new floors throughout our whole main floor with new trim, they installed lighting and fixtures in our basement and when other companies said it would be a hassle to install a light at the top of the stairs leading to the basement Gar and his team made it happen! And his pricing and customer service was WAY better than other quotes we received (i.e, Peterman Brothers was 3 times higher!!) We will be using Gar in the future!

I would highly recommend Remodel and Renovate for your home project. I had a corner shower that needed replaced, and required a bit of custom work to keep our garden tub intact. Gar worked with me to ensure he understood my needs, provided options to keep costs at a minimum, provided a detailed estimate invoice and delivered a beautiful final product. He kept me informed of his timelines, showed up when he said he would, and on time. He and his crew were very polite and courteous, flexible enough to work around our schedule, and cleaned up after every day of construction. If you need someone to help out with a home remodeling project, large or small, this is your guy. Absolutely would use him again, and will be recommending him to anyone I know that is needing some home improvement or remodeling work done.

Gar and team are the best. I’ve been through the remodel dance many of times, and our kitchen remodel was an excellent experience with this company. Excellent communication, delivered on time and within budget. I don’t need any other company as long as he’s in business.

Gar was awesome from the start. When he came to measure for the estimate he asked many questions to be sure he knew what we wanted. He was very thorough. He communicated with us every step of the way including when to expect his estimate. His guys were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. We ran into several issues with the project and Gar let us know our options in a timely manner so his workers could continue the project. He was absolutely great to work with and he was always checking in with us to let us know where he was on the project and what was left to be done. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing to renovate a home. He is very honest and works with a great team of subcontractors.

Gar is amazing! We had been through the wringer with several contractors and he came in on short notice and helped us fix and finish our house to sell. The work was excellent and he was truly so easy to work with. Look no further!

Currently, we are using Gar and his crew to do work on the house. We remodeled the kids’ bathroom and put in a walk in pantry. We are very happy with the outcome and will be using him and his guys (Adner and Axel) for our master bathroom remodel. Gar is a great contractor that is honest and excellent listener in what you want in your project there was a couple of hiccups in our bathroom remodel but Gar and his guys address all the issues. I definitely would recommend him to others and have already. He will be doing more jobs for us in the future as well.

Their most recent completed project is one of my bathrooms, which turned out absolutely exquisite. I am also contracting them for a hardwood floor replacement, shed repair/rehab, and my second bathroom. Their prices are very reasonable and come with extremely high quality resulting work. Very professional amazing tile work at great price. Works to save you as much money as possible and still give you what you need. My bathroom was completely remodeled from top to bottom and looks amazing. Also had new gutters installed and that was done with the same excellent workmanship. Highly recommend this company. Had a great experience, we had a small issue, but was taken care of right away, and the work turned out great!!! Extremely professional, and follows up with work done, making sure it’s been done right and to the owner’s satisfaction.

This is my second time requesting work from Remodel and Renovate; worked with Gar as point of contact both times. First time was for flooring installation on my first floor, this second time was for remodeling the master shower. In the photos you can see the previous version of the shower, followed by the remodel. The prior shower had caused a leak to my first floor, this is a flip house and it was poorly constructred.

The shower remodel is about 8' wide, 4' deep, and 8' tall.

Having received two other estimates for the remodel of this shower, R&R's initial estimate was higher, but they were professional in their timeliness, communications, and estimate generation. In addition, the work they had done for my first floor was excellent, and that prior experience made it easy for me to say yes.

What they did for me in this remodel:
* worked with my schedule
* found a locally licensed plumber to assist in checking for pipe leaks
* plan and discuss the new shower layout
* provided me with knowledge of what materials I would need for design selections
* deconstructed the prior shower
* coordinated with plumbers
* handled purchase of materials; paid through final invoice
* handled transportation of materials and trash
* custom edge handling of tiles since I chose not to use schluter strips
* correction of damaged drywall in the left-side of the shower wall
* correction of curved drwall atop entrance to shower
* custom tile installation; I provided general directions on 5 unique tile designs
* cut and replace ceiling drywall on first floor
* paint match ceiling and paint a section of the ceiling, post-drywall
* being cool dudes

The men employed by R&R, for both jobs now, have been professional and courteous.

The grout spacing appears to be near-even all throughout. Tile alignment is great, a couple spots there it seems the tiles have slightly shifted after settling overnight; nothing noticeable unless you go around feelin-up your shower walls. There are no puddles of water after each use, water seems to slide to the drain and/or off the curb/shelves just fine.

Overall, I am ecstatic with the work performed by R&R. I've been using the shower for several weeks now and have had 0 issues. Everyone I've had over to view the shower absolutely loves it.

The shower is not yet complete due to shipping issues with a glass door; hence the cheap plastic liner at the end photo. The plan is to put in a glass door and a custom cut glass wall; hitting supply chain issues. Looking forward to getting my door in and having R&R come back out to complete this work.

he replaced most of the flooring of our new (old) house with a beautiful hard wood. The flooring has a great finish to it. In fact, they took a little extra time to go over it one more time (no additional charge) to ensure longevity. They even helped with painting and touching up our cabinets!

I would recommend them for any home repairs. Gar is very professional and honest and explains everything they are doing.They are the best!!

I had water damage from my dish washer all my flooring had to be replaced and kitchen cabinets got damaged at bottom. The team did a outstanding job. Everything turned out great Came to work on time paid attention to details very professional hard working guys. I would recommend them to a friend and I definitely would use this service again.

I would highly recommend this company to do work for you . We were in a mess with water damage. Gar immediately reassured me that he could restore and replace the items to the original condition. He answered every text phone call quickly. He worked hard to get it done in a timely manner . The crew he used were pleasant worked very hard and paid attention to detail. They were always on time showed respect to our home and graciously accepted any questions and accepted any requests. This kind of work is difficult to find . I am very pleased with the work that was completed and will definitely use them again. Thank you so much for your work ethics, talent and completion of all that was needed !
