This company did our roof almost 5 years ago, the guys that did it was amazing job the job was done in 1 day. Myself and my husband was so pleased with the professional. The manager Ray was very helpful. Especially today when I had to call him to get my invoice from when the roof was done to send to my home owners insurance company he called me said he will check back to see if he could find the information, Ray called me back within a hour and found the information from almost 5 years ago, im so relieved. I had damage to my roof over the weekend and called Rays Roofing. I did this on Saturday evening and the vary next morning Ray himself was at my house repairing the roof. He did a great job and knowing we were leaving for vacation, wanted us to have peace of mind that it was done before we left. Ray was quick to come out and give us an estimate. Once we chose them, he called and said the supply company would be coming out to deliver the materials. They delivered the materials and placed them out of the way of our driveway.

Ray called and said they’d be coming on a Friday, but his crew actually showed up a day early. He did call to let us know this. The crew was quick and efficient, they covered our plants and ensured there was no damage. They did a thorough clean up of our yard, and the surrounding areas, including our neighbors yards.

A leak in our roof accelerated the need to reroof. We watched Ray's crew roof a house across the street from our house...and were impressed. I called Ray for an estimate, and within two weeks the job was completed. I found Ray to be extremely responsive to my needs and reasonably priced. His crew was very competent, hard/fast working and met my expectations.

I had a tree limb fall on the roof of my man cave. I then googled roof repair in Bel Air MD and the first one I came across was a company that begins with a T. I called the company and a guy picked up and I told him what was damaged and this individual came out to my home and did a estimate and shook my hand and said that he would email me a quote by the morning, well morning came and gone and that was the last time I heard from him. I then called Rays Harford and Ray McLemore the owner picked up and I told him that I needed a new roof, Ray came out quickly and gave me a estimate alot cheaper than the T company had given me. Once I got everything settled with my insurance company I called Ray back and we agreed on a date. A guy by the the name of Harry and Robbie came out to replace my roof and gutters and they were finished in 2 days.I was very satisfied with the job. Both these gentlemen were very polite and professional and cleaned up all the debris. Ray came out himself to my home the next day and looked over the work and asked me if I was satisfied. My response was I'm very satisfied with the work. We shook hands and I told him if I ever need any roof work in the future that I would happily call him again. I would highly recommend Rays Harford because he keeps his word and most importantly he will answer the phone when you call unlike some other businesses. I know this post was long but if you call this company you will understand why.

Rays Harford Home Improvement replaced our siding and windows last year and did such a great job we had them come back a couple of weeks ago to replace our roof. Another job well done at a great price.

I called Ray’s to get a quote on having the gable vents replaced on my home from storm damage. I received a call back from Ray Sr. shortly after. He quoted me a very reasonable price, and told me they may be able to fit me in before the weekend, which they did 3 days later. I had received another quote from another contractor that was way higher, and another contractor I called three times in as many weeks, without a single call back. Ray JR. came out in the morning, after calling to let me know what time he would be there. He did a great job, was extremely professional, and a great person to meet! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have this type of home improvement work done. I will definitely call them for my next job!

Ray's Harford Home repair replaced the roofing on my 1700 sq ft rancher w/ hip roof -- the things I appreciated: 1. They answer the phone. 2. They show up at the appointed time and finish the work on schedule. 3. They cleaned up pretty well. 4. They seem to have installed everything correctly based on my personal inspections while they were doing the work (but I aint no expert). Cost of contractors is a mystery to me, but Ray's bid was competitive out of the four I received. They offered to upsale the shingles to a somewhat higher quality w/ better warranty, and I took the upgraded shingles.

I had one of those Father’s Day “New Grill” episodes. Ray was very quick to respond. He did excellent work and was able to match the siding perfectly. The quality of the job was better then the original. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone who needs siding work.

This is the second time I've used Ray's. Needed 2 vent boots replaced that were leaking. Ray came out the next day and took care of them quickly. 2 days after he replaced them, even a close passing tornado didnt make it leak. Good job!

i chose Ray's based on years in business and positive reviews. I needed some repair/replacement work done on the fascia trim on both gable ends, and also replace the trim on the garage door. Repair work is never easy because of having to work within the limits of what was originally done. The work done looks absolutely wonderful and matches the existing framework. I am very pleased.

This team is great! Don't waste your time or money with anyone else, these guys are the real deal. They did the siding, soffit, gutters, and downspouts on my house and garage perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I will always call Ray! He even did my mom's house, she was very happy as well.

Rays saved my husband's He-SHED. My shed roof started leaking. After stripping shingles, we discovered water rotted sheathing and rafters. A simple job turned complicated but Rays was up to the task and in a couple days the HE-Shed was back in action and looking good. Ray made adjustments to assure better ventilation to improve the performance of my shed roof.

Quality service. Called and explained what I needed. Sent photos of wind damage of siding and loose downspout. Ray Sr was easy to speak with. Ray Jr responded in 2 days and repair same. Very please and thank you!

I chose Ray's Harford Home Improvement Co. solely on the many positive reviews. You can be rest assured that the reviews are accurate from my experience. The cost was in line with an estimate I was given three years ago by another roofer, and Rays quote also included an upgrade in shingles. My large and steep roof had 2 layers of shingles. It was completed in one day (11 1/2 hours); yard cleaned up perfectly and all nails removed. Ray came back for inspection and noted a correction which was taken care of the next day. Damage to the lawn was repaired in one week. Ray does what he says. You can count on that. In today's world that is a big plus for me.

Was very satisfied with the service of this company. We had a leakage in the roof with water going through the living room ceiling. Ray sent a worker within an hour, who fixed everything in pouring rain. Reasonably priced, very good service!

We came home from vacation to discover our roof was leaking. In a panic I started calling roofers in Harford County. Ray was easy to get in touch with, explained the process for me as it was our first roof replacement, and provided a detailed estimate with included services. His team showed up early and ready to start, finished by the early afternoon, and very thoroughly cleared the yard of debris/nails. Price was very competitive and overall a good experience.

I am trying to sell my house and needed some one reliable because I already moved out of town. Found Ray on google. He sent me a quote online very quickly for a decent price and finished the job on time.

Just to keep it simple:
1.) obtained 4 quotes for the roofing job/Ray's Harford was least expensive by 12%;
2.) 6 workers on-site, completed the project in less than 2 days - Quality excellent (as you can see by the photo /roofing square footage, pitch and angle of the house - not an easy job); FYI - I had a new roof installed 18 years ago. 2 workers took a total of 17 days for installation (not good);
3.) and foremost, we're selling our house, and home inspection (don't like them too much, but that's another story..) said there was a discoloration to ~ 6 shingles. Ray, and his guys were over in less than 48 hours to remedy the situation.

Anyway, for what it's worth -I personally don't know Ray - but cost, quality, job installation - AND most importantly responsiveness and follow-up was impressive to me.

This company replaced my PVC vent pipe boot 3 years ago. Price was good and work was good, no issue aftermath. 5/27/20, I called to get an estimate of works on front fascia and repairs at roof ridge. I made couple calls, Ray's responded the fastest. They came next day, fixed both fascia and roof ridge. In addition, they saw some shingles got wore out on both end of the ridge, they replaced with new shingles at no extra cost.
This is the oldest roof and home improvement company in Harford County, they do good jobs.

Prompt and responsive. We had an emergency need and Ray's son came out the same day to make repairs. Roof was fixed in about 30 minutes after a thorough inspection. Will hire again.

I had a punctured roof due to a fallen branch. I called Ray from work and he came out that day and fixed it before I even returned home from work.

He responded quickly and provided us an estimate, which
although not the cheapest we received, was still a
reasonable amount for the work to be performed.

He was on time and easy to work with and seemed to
be more honest than some of the others that gave us
estimates.

He completed the project on time and at the exact
amount he estimated and was very thorough in
performing the work and also did a good job
with the area cleanup after the work was completed.

The real test will be the next time we get one
of the big rainstorms but at this point we are
very happy and will recommend him to others.

I contacted Ray and gave him a description of my roof leak. Ray gave me a quote which was fair to fix the leak. Before calling Ray I had another company come out 3 times and they said I needed a new roof after they kept failing to fix the same leak. So just a day after I called Ray Jr. came out looked in the attic first and immediately found the issue that the other company did incorrectly on the roof. Ray Jr. repaired it and also checked the entire roof and performed preventive maintenance unrelated to the leak for no extra charge. These are good guys that know what they are doing and have been doing it for a long time It is still leak free. Most companies try to sell you things you don't need but Ray fixes the problem better and for less.

Had them re-roof my house summer of 2018. They have reasonable prices and use good products. They damaged a few things (gutter, screen, flood lights) during installation. When highlighted, they did return to address immediately. Since then I've had two reoccurring rain entry issues. They came out several times. I finally found the one issue and repaired myself (poor integration with gutter). The other issue is still unresolved... looking for another contractor to address since I'm tired of rain entry issues in my foyer.
UPDATE: After another visit and more repairs made, it appears the foyer issue(s) has been resolved.

Discovered a leak from my roof and called Ray late in the afternoon. He came out first thing the next day to diagnose the problem. He found a couple trouble areas on the roof and remedied then with some new materials. Awesome and quick service by Ray. If you've got a problem with your roof give Ray and shout and he will get it taken care of.

We called to get an estimate for damaged edge roof shingles and got a reasonable quote over the phone and after texting pictures. The roof was repaired the next day and looks great. I have used Ray's Harford Home Improvement to put a new roof on my house a year and a half ago. They were easy to work with, and were done in less than a day. Since then, I have had two minor leaks, which weren't the fault of the roof installation. One leak was due to a satellite dish, and the other was due to an old exhaust duct from my furnace. Each time, Ray has come out to fix these leaks free of charge.

This company stands by their work. Even if it was installed a year ago, if there are any problems in the area of installation, they will come out and fix it. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

I couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Ray's. Ray recently replaced the roof on my elderly mom's townhouse after the previous contractor did a poor job. Ray did a great job at a good price. When the neighbor's roof caused water to leak into my mom's house, Ray's jumped in and replaced the neighbor's roof, flashing and siding to correct the problem. I'd highly recommend Ray's for any roofing job, they're the best in my book.

Called for siding and moisture barrier advice. Have a leak and was unsure whether to wrap the entire house or not and would I need to replace the siding or could I reuse what I have. I was told to Google what I wanted to do and let them know. Called another company with 100% better response.
