We had a wonderful experience with BWN. We got four quotes for our basement waterproofing job and the BWN quote was the clearest and most detailed one by far. John was incredibly personable and easy to work with, never trying to sell us on anything but answering all of my many questions (and I had a lot, since I'd already talked with the first three companies and done my own research). The scheduling process was straightforward and we were able to pick a time for the job that worked for our schedules. The crew was friendly and easy to work with and they completed the job on time, keeping us in the loop during every step of the process. I doubt we'll be needing more basement waterproofing, considering their lifetime warranty, but we would certainly hire them again and will be recommending them to neighbors!

Crew at Basement Waterproofing Nationwide were very nice and worked hard to encapsulate my crawlspace. They arrived early and finished the project ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality of work. Great company!

They did a fine job on our backup sump pump. And when we called back, needing help, they set up an appointment right away and explained what we needed to do in a friendly and non-threatening way. We especially appreciated working with Joe.

When the job was scheduled they came. Dominick lead tech was acting job foreman crew leader very professional. Forman was out ill and Dominick covered everything from beginning to end with plans. Somehow plans went foul and I wasn't satisfied at the end. So we had meeting with Mike about expectations and unsatisfied. Mike assured me they would make correction to my satisfaction. After agreement with him he and Dominick showed up the next day instead of a whole week was going to have to wait. When I tell I was wondering the outcome I was unsure. But once I found out Dominick was on job I felt everything was going to be fine. Dominick explained everything he was doing on a daily basis. He ended up working the almost entire job himself. He knew how it was in the beginning and was to put back same like kind as was before work was started. Very satisfied with BWN In the end. Getting any water work done to your house can be the worst thing ever and seems to be never ending, at least that’s how I felt. After getting several quotes for what I thought was just simple waterproofing I almost gave up until I met with the inspector for BWN. Not only did they correct the previous work done by someone else they located the true cause of my problem quickly and efficiently. When the work was being done BWN was not currently taking on new production customers but they became the only people I trusted and called until they decided to take me on as a production customer. My basement is beautiful thanks to BWN (I made it into a work space and closet), I have confidence in the work done, and I’ve already identified other parts of my home that I want to call them back out for at the start of the new year. I’d also like to mention that this company has been willing to deal with my less than reasonable adjuster although they don’t deal with insurance. I’d 100% recommend this organization to anyone that ask

Basement Waterproofing Nationwide was awesome! My salesman Jeremy was fantastic! He was friendly and he thoroughly explained the waterproofing project process and when I told him I had another home project scheduled to start soon he prioritized my job and was able to get it scheduled right away. The team who completed the job were all professional and cleaned up after themselves. I ended up with a lot of dust throughout the house because of how thick my basement floor is, which obviously upset me. I spoke with Jeremy and Mike and they both explained this was highly unusual and not expected but they wanted to make sure to set things right so they arranged for a professional cleaning crew to come the following day to remove the dust from the floors and surfaces. The cleaning crew did a great job and I felt like the house was restored to pre-waterproofing job condition. I was very pleased and impressed with Basement in how they handled everything. They took my concerns and questions seriously and they wanted to ensure that they did the right thing and that I was satisfied. I do need to say that this was a very unusual outcome to have so much dust and this is not most peoples' experience. They did a beautiful job with the construction of the drain and installation of the sump pump as well as the waterproofing of the walls. Everything looks seamless and so professionally done. Water in the basement is not a thing on which anyone wishes to expend their hard earned cash. But contracting with BWN Bel Air was a totally pleasant experience. I spoke several times on the phone with Rachel, who is very pleasant and covers all of the bases. Jeremy came out to assess my problem, a failed french drain in the basement stairwell, and do a full inspection of the basement. Finding no other problems he laid out two options to remediate the issue. He was very careful to make sure that I understood the pros and cons of each so that I could make an educated decision and described exactly what steps were involved in each option. The job was scheduled 4 weeks later. Two days later Rachel called and offered the opportunity to have the job done two days later. No pressure, but I jumped at the opportunity as heavy rains were in the forecast, no doubt bringing some more water into my basement. Frank arrived with his crew on time on the appointed day. He explained to me exactly what they would be doing, and apologized for the noise that would accompany the job along with the dust that woud be created. The job was completed in less than a day and I am gobsmacked by the result. Other reviews of this business spoke of the quality of their work, the great clean up and the pleasant crew. I expected a very good job but the completed work exceeded my high expectations. The work area, which was filthy before they arrived, was immaculate after the job was completed, and they hung plastic around the area which prevented dust from getting to other areas of my basement. They ran PVC from the stairwell drain to my sump pit and installed a french drain along side of the pipe as well. They also installed a vapor barrier on the wall. Frank was fantastic. He was enthusiastic and pleasant but made it very clear that his priority was to make sure that I was totally satisfied with the workmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend BWN Bel Air and will hire them again should a different* problem arise in the future. Why the *? Because the current work is guaranteed for life, and I highly doubt that drain will ever fail again.

Pros:Professional and on time. The team did an excellent job waterproofing my basement, repairing the wall and installing a new sump pump.

Cons:The flooring around the base of the basement wall was removed. Some pieces of flooring were damaged during removal, necessitating additional purchases to replace the damaged sections.

Conclusion: The company does a great job with Waterproofing. Communication is great throughout the entire process. I would recommend Basement Waterproofing Nationwide to family and friends.

Overall a good experience. The inspector who came out to survey and do the initial quote was very experienced in dealing with old homes like ours, and out of the 3 quotes we received, we felt his identification of the issues and solution was not only the most affordable, but also was the most appropriate. They confidentially warrant their work for the life time of the house. The work site was kept clean and tidy. I was kept abreast of progress and any issues, and feel like the end result is what I expected. My only issue with the whole project was not fully understanding upfront that even though everything was disconnected and packed in boxes so it could be easily moved, that the contracted would not be moving it and work was delayed a day while we worked to Tetris everything into two sections in the basement which could then be sectioned off with plastic wrap. Other than that, they still completed the work in 3 days as expected and I am satisfied with the end result. And with a life time warranty I have time to put the system to test!

These folks are the best! We should have done this three years ago, when salesman Mike Leggett convinced us they were the best of the four companies we'd interviewed. But we'd been lucky with flooding for a few years, so we waited. After the bad rains in January, I called, as I'd promised, and they put us on the schedule.

About four or five guys worked four six-hour days. They were conscientious and careful and explained what they were going to do each day. At the end of their workday, they showed what they'd done and made sure we were satisfied. The whole crew was excellent, but Frank is a wonderful human: kind, polite, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Yesterday, it rained like crazy, and it would have been another one of our flood days, but every so often, the quiet sump pump came on, and our basement stayed completely dry.

BWN was recommended to us after contacting several other companies to assess a leak in our homes Superior Wall foundation. BWN was the only company who was familiar with the Superior Wall product and had prior experience working with this type of foundation. Our initial consultation was with Mike who took the time to inspect our foundation and provide several options for repair. Mike was professional and honest in his assessment and did not try to push any unnecessary services. Once we agreed to a repair, Mike was able to assist in getting us on the schedule and the process started. On the day of the repair, Joe and his team called ahead to let us know of an arrival time. Joe and his team kept us informed of the progress and identified/repaired other areas where water may have been entering the foundation. Glad I called BWN. I had a small ineffective drain outside my walkout basement that often caused my patio to flood and even caused water to get into my home sometimes. They came out and installed a much better drain. Everyone at BWN was responsive, courteous, and nice. They also quoted me a much more reasonable price than I received elsewhere. I just had to share my experience with BWN. They could have come over and done some work and I would have been happy. Instead they actually gave me some free advice over the phone and directed me to the source of my issue. They were spot on and even though I did not use their services they have a customer for life moving forward and I would recommend them to anyone!

(I had a very bad experience with a different company who did not fix the problem before I hired BWN and it was a nightmare)

The actual work is good, but the employees, not good.......one of the employee, was eating sunflower seeds and spitting the shells inside / outside my home, see pictures ( not good ) the employee was smoking inside my house, the other employee took an empty Gatorade bottle in my house and urinated in same, ( Frank. The crew chief ).

Clean up was very good. Overall job looks good. Kept it neat and orderly throughout the project. Friendly people. A little expensive I believe. But very attentive and great customer service. Also has a lifetime-transferable warranty. So really it all comes down to value. I would definitely recommend.
