David provided an excellent service to an incredibly complex front porch roof and gutter issue caused by a nest of squirrels living rent-free for decades.

We bought a century-old rowhome in D.C. and didn't realize we also inherited a family of squirrels that ferociously dug into our front porch beam. We've gotten several quotes in the past two years where roofers and siding companies chalked it up as "this is going to cost you a lot of money and it's just not worth it." We finally decided to prioritize fixing this problem and got three quotes.

I got two other quotes, and one was really expensive (due to different material cost) and the second one was comparatively the same. I trusted David's expertise because he was referred by my friend who highly recommended him (David fixed my friend's leaky roof issue nearby); and David didn't give me a run-around answer with the problem I had raised.

When I finally decided to start on the project, David's team was ready to go. I wanted David to fix three big areas: 1) trimboard/beam; 2) gutter; and 3) front porch ceiling. David's team took photos throughout the process, identified that the front porch trim board didn't actually have a beam inside, so the squirrels lived in this hollow space filled with mulch and tree branches. They quickly gave me an estimate of the additional cost to add a beam and worked extremely hard to fixing the front porch roof area.

They were done within a day and a half. I'm super pleased with David's craftsmanship. David went above and beyond my expectations, fixing a beautiful antique crown moulding that the squirrels chewed up, and making it look like new. I am so relieved to know this problem is now fixed and the squirrels have no way of getting back into the roof. Everything is sealed and properly done.

Please protect David at all cost. He is a 10/10.

David did excellent work. He inspected the roof the day after we connected with him. After we scheduled him to work, he arrived on time, worked efficiently, charged a fair price, and was easy to communicate with. The roof looks great. David was great. He responded to my inquiry right away and came out the next day. I was not home at the time so we talked and he sent photos to help me understand what he saw as the problem with my damaged gutter system. He knew what to do and gave me a reasonable quote. David was one of several 5* contractors whom we asked to inspect our roof following a leak we spotted after heavy rain recently. He got the job for three main reasons:

- First of all, he did the most thorough inspection (spending an hour crawling around our tiny attic and roof, where access is complicated by solar panels) spotting real issues many other contractors had missed (I was up there with him, so I saw them first hand). Did I mention he came on Thanksgiving, a day after we called him? Well, now I did ;-)

- He also offered a competitive quote for repairs and gutter replacement and, in contrast to some of the competition, he wasn't only interested in replacing the whole roof, but thought we could fix the issues and keep it alive for another 5-8 years (which sounded very reasonable to us).

- Finally, he was ready to start on short notice and seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

While the weather wasn't exactly ideal (it was cold and rainy), David delivered on his promises, working tirelessly (and occasionally after dark and in the rain) to fix the issues as soon as possible. Less than a week after we spotted the leak, and after three+ long days of labor, we have new gutters and a roof that is almost unrecognizable. And while several of the contractors wouldn't touch our roof with the solar panels on it, David did a lot of the work crawling under them, saving us $2,5k in dismantling and reassembly costs alone... He also provided photo documentation of the work done, with helpful "before" and "after" pics.

Would we hire David for another job? Absolutely, and we actually already have, i.e., he's scheduled to come round and inspect our roof on a semi-annual basis now.

Long story short, we're very happy and would strongly recommend his services!

He explained to me what the issues were and how they needed to be prepared. I signed up for additional service as I was convinced that he is a honest person who has expertise in roof repair and I can trust him with his diagnosis and service. I called Ralda Roofing in early December when we noticed some water stains on the ceiling of one of our bedrooms. David Ralda returned my call promptly and was able to come by the next day to take a look at our roof. He did a great job of explaining the work he thought was needed and took a lot of pictures of our roof to show us the existing issues. He sent us an estimate for the proposed work (replace the back third of our flat roof, replace rotten wood on our attic roof hatch, and patch in multiple other areas) later that evening. His estimate was reasonable and echoed what we'e heard from other contractors, and he was able to get started just a few days later. His team showed up right on time, worked efficiently, and left our back patio nicer than they'd found it. They even cleared our gutters and clipped away tree branches that were too close to our roof; when they were done, they placed all this yard waste neatly into paper bags. At the end of the job, David sent me pictures of the work that was done. We highly recommend David to anyone with roof issues -- we found him to be honest and reasonable, and we really appreciate him finding the time to do our job so quickly.

I hired David and Ralda Roofing to evaluate a leak in a condo above a window. We were not sure where the leak was coming from, and a prior service provider had said it was from the gutters. David was prompt and responsive in scheduling a time to visit, he arrived on time and called me to discuss. He determined that the issue was more likely to be caused by issues with the flashing around the window and advised replacing that and sealing the brickwork to fix the issue. Although the scope of my project was not roofing related, David was able to complete the repairs. He completed the job in 1 day, and provided photos documenting each step of the process. I highly recommend David and his team and will use them again.

David was very quick to respond to our request for an estimate and was thorough in his evaluation. He found multiple sites of possible water entry- not just the one we suspected. He discussed the pros and cons of different repair techniques and let us decide what worked best for us. He was able to do repairs the same day and was professional and personable.
