We used Rainy Day services a year an a half ago on our previous home. Their service and quality workmanship was excellent! We recently updated our other home and invited Rainy Day services back. Once again they did an excellent job installing our new gutters and downspouts. We are so happy with their service and highly recommend them.

Rainy Day Services replaced our gutters & downspouts and cleaned & repaired our awnings. Complicated project due to new roof and exterior paint colors. Terrific job – no leaks, looks wonderful! Work was done quickly and very professionally. Been working with Rainy Day for over 20 years, and will be customers for life!

They replaced a gutter on the front of our garage last year. This year we're having them do the front of the house. Nice people, good work.

They were very quick to schedule with me and did a very thorough, professional job. We needed to have a gutter replaced on one side of our house. And they also cleaned out all the gutters as part of the price. They were friendly and easy to work with.

BEWARE ...Never go to this company for your gutter needs. Unless you want to be bullied by the owner. He will scream, yell call you derogatory names to get out of anything his crew damages, he will take NO responsibility for any damages accrued by his young crew BEWARE He will tell you it’s your fault, cuss your contractor out after damages brought to his attention, and try to bill you after he has yelled and screamed horrific insults if you confront him.

I'm a contractor and my customer tried to hire them to so her gutters. That was a mistake. After not showing up on the agreed date when they did show up they couldn't figure out how to install gutters on a house with drip edge all the way around it. They left the job site and said they would be back in a few days. I as the contractor hired another gutter installer who had them done that day in less than 2 hours. The owner of Rainy day showed up two days later and tried to bill my customer even though he didn't do any work. Guys like this give all contractors a bad name.

I had Rainy Day Services install Gutters a good number of years back. I do not know if it is the same owners today. I did not know anything about gutter installation so trusted them to install correctly. BIG MISTAKE !! They nailed the gutters to my rafters spitting quite a number of them. The nails periodically loosen causing the gutters to sag and I have to try and fasten them back which is difficult. They should have used straps instead of nails. And to split my rafters and not be accountable is over the top. They actually damaged my house and I paid them for it !

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
