I can’t understand the poor reviews. Rainshield Roofing was competent, hard working and explained what and why they were installing. In the Pacific Northwest, roofs get a beating from wind, rain, overcast days and tree debris. After 22 years, we needed a new roof, including all new exterior plywood. They also added side vents and a ridge vents. They cleaned up and I have yet to find any roofing debris despite removing the shingles and plywood and under layer.

Had my roof replaced by rainshield.They replaced skylights and gutters too.Did a great job.roof looks great and they were very professional.Glad I hired them.

Don was professional and obviously very knowledgeable from the first moment we met. He walked me through the process his guys would be undertaking and everything went off without a hitch. The entire crew worked well together and obviously knew what they were doing. New roof looks great and cleanup at the end was immaculate, which was actually very surprising to me considering how much debris gets created during tear-off. The finished product is fantastic and I'm overjoyed that Rainshield came out to do the work. I will certainly recommend these guys to everyone I know.

When you get a contract from this company, make sure you know everything about it. They like to leave items out, so if you did know the cost, then you would never have used them. I had them replace my roof. In doing so ther had to replace some plywood. The charge for the work averaged out to $400 per hour. Three guys working for 8 hours over two days at a cost of $3200. That did not include the plywood. They (the foreman) did not inform me of the cost until they were halfway done with the project. I looked at other contracts that I recieved in bids from Joostens and Mt. Baker Roofing, they were one third of the cost than these guys. I will never use these folks again and will make sure if anyone asks, do not trust or use them. I should have check Better Business Bureau and talked with other construction people to find out more. The regular "Joe" from the community does not know some of these things.

Regarding Rainshield Roofing...

#1--Estimator Don showed up when he said he would and delivered everything he said he would.

#2--Roofing foreman Jasper acted as though he was working on his own house. Made sure all was going as it should--and, it did.

#3--Hire Rainshield Roofing of Ferndale to do a roof again? You betcha! There are three other neighbors within sight of my house who agree because Rainshield re-roofed their homes, too. Happy, happy customers!

Rainshield did an excellent job! From tear down to installation, my roof looks amazing! Matt and his crew did quality work and were very professional and respectful. Competitive pricing and easy/responsive communication.

Just had the Ferndale crew do my roof, and they did a great job at a reasonable price. Good scheduling, excellent materials, and they diligently worked around our common rain-days here in Bellingham. The crew was friendly, flexible, and conscientious. I especially appreciated that they honored my request of not playing music, as I live in a very quiet neighborhood. They also cleaned up after each day of work, and even wiped down my outside walls and skylights when the job was over. I would use them again, and recommend them without reservation.

Rainshield installed a new roof on my home last winter. Pricing was very competitive. Scheduling was reasonable. Where others wanted 3 to 9 months, Rainshield did a quick repair and scheduled the roof for just a few weeks out. They helped secure financing at very good rates. The work crews were courteous, respectful and efficient. The quote included about 10٪ for unexpected work and the job didn't need any of that. So the total price was less than expected. Use Rainshield for your roofing project!

Rainshield is amazing to work with from start to end. Very professional and they go out of their way to help you out and accommodate your needs. I've not quite moved in to my new home and it takes me a few hours to drive up each time I need to be there.

Bob was great in accommodating my schedule and even meeting me on short notice at a coffee shop to run through the work, contract and roofing choices. Before I closed on my house!!

Also the roofing work started three weeks early!!! And Joe the foreman was fabulous to work with. When he found out I lived a few hours away and couldn't be on site, he constantly gave me updates. And sent me pictures of the work and asked me questions so that I could make informed decisions.
That to me is very important for a long distance customer working OT on a full time project and greatly reduced my anxiety and stress.

I can not tell you how impressed I am with the professional service I received from the staff of Rainshield. I was lucky to have Joseph (foreman) and his extremely hard working crew working on our 2400sf Manufactured home. Joseph is very knowledge. His crew are hard workers and very pleasant to deal and talk to! Extremely polite. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement.

This company rocks!! The guys are very friendly and know what they are doing. Very easy to work with.They will make sure the customer is satisfied with the job before leaving the job site. And if you have any questions, they are willing to answer them with no hesitations.The owner of the company will also come out after the work is completed to make sure the customer is satisfied. He is very knowledgeable and is a very nice guy. Would recommend this company to anyone looking to get their roof done.

These guys are great. From the initial bid, through the process up until the final payment, all went as promised. They did a fantastic job and left the premises free from all the scrap materials and thoroughly picked up all the nails. We highly recommend this company!

Rainshield roofing did an awesome job roofing my home! My salesman Don did an incredible job walking me through the process and even showed up at my house at 5:30 in the evening to accommodate my schedule and get the required paperwork completed. The job foreman, Tom, really knew his stuff and answered my rookie questions while explaining things in a way that even an amateur could understand. I'm a hard individual to please, and I am very happy with the experience Rainshield provided.

We are beyond pleased with our roof! Rainshield was professional, timely, and did an amazing job. The new roof makes our whole house look vibrant again. Honest, reliable and quality work. We hired Rainshield a couple years ago to replace our roof and recently to repair a leak at a second home and couldn't have been happier with the sevice they provided. We just had the weathererization done for our older drafty home. The guys did such amazing job! Sekou really know his stuff and clearly has a ton of experience. I could tell right away the house actually smelled better everyday. No more wondering what’s under the house and if little critters are getting in. They fixed it all nice and tidy. Great job guys!

I had rainshield roofing re roof my home and the rot damage was worse than expected... they literally re built the entire roof replaced all of my insulation... very professional and quality install thanks guys
