When I was left in a difficult situation with my first roofing contractor failing to purchase the materials and complete the job, Fly Guys flew in to save the day. I had been without a roof for over two months, April -May. They completed my four buildings in a day. It was incredible and they did a magnificent job. I would highly recommend Fly Guys to anyone, especially before they hired the wrong guy.

Fly Guys recently did a full roof and insulation replacement for me and they did a fantastic job. They were very quick and had the job complete in just 1 day! I'm currently sitting warm and dry in my house while it rains outside. Good work guys!!

Austin of Fly Guys Roofing and the second account you used to try and disparage me to try to hurt my business.

Last Friday, you contacted me in a rush, insisting on scheduling a job for Saturday at 7 am. During our initial conversation, you made derogatory remarks about Mexican roofers and the effect they had on your business. You requested my drone services to help your business stand out from all "the effing Mexican illegals" and then had a blatant tirade of workers' compensation solely based on racial stereotypes. As a business person and black man, I find your remarks offensive and entirely unprofessional. People who know you will read this and know my statements are truthful.

Despite my reservations, I agreed to proceed with the arrangement because, ultimately, business shouldnt be influenced by personal offense. So I arrived at Chuckanut Crest location at 7 am as per your request, I had to wake up at 5:30AM on my Saturday. There was no sign of any Fly Guys Roofing vehicles or personnel, despite it being a roofing job where one would expect a visible presence of trucks everywhere and likely around a dozen guys since you said it was a one-day roof job, that would require a lot labor and equipment. I texted you then.

After several attempts to contact you, including texts and even sending a picture of the property prior to leaving at 7:20, I received no response. Then I decided to leave. As I drove down the long dead end road and then later down Chuckanut I realized that I didn't pass any Roofing trucks. This is the first I've heard from you since.

Your unprofessional behavior not only wasted my time and effort but now you attempt to affect my reputation as a professional in the industry. Based on who I spoke to on the phone I'm not shocked to discover that you're attempting to retaliate by leaving negative feedback on my website without even addressing the issue directly with me.

I reached out to a mutual acquaintance, and wasn't surprised to hear derogatory remarks about your character, which further validates my concerns about your professionalism. They said "You have to stand firm and don't trust that skinny F". You and I have never met but you must be skinny. I wondered why someone would go so far out of their way to mess up my day b ut if you hate Mexicans so much its not a stretch you'd hate people like me. Then to use another account named "Megan" to leave me the second negative review Ive ever received is pretty low.

Even though you are attempting to sabotage my livelihood, I still dodged a bullet by not ever having to meet you. Best of luck Austin. Also, I hope you guys repaired that guys truck finally.

Fly Guys Roofing was able to schedule us very quickly into their schedule and were flexible to find a nice sunny day to perform the work. They arrived on time and brought a big crew. They jumped right in and worked super fast, you could tell they are a well oiled machine. They kept the mess under control and got our house and shed roof fixed up and completely reroofed in just one day. Solid work, would highly recommend.

The Clubhouse of the Orcas Island Golf Course was built in the 1890s we have been needing to reroof it for a few years but worried about the time it would take to do it and the cost. Fly Guys got it done in one day! Removing the old roof adding plywood and the new roof then cleaned up and out of there by 2pm! Hard working guys and everyone knows their part, and at a good price.

We had a fire and firefighters cut two large holes in our roof (2' x 4' each). Fly Guys quickly responded and provided a more-than-fair estimate, which we accepted immediately. In less than 48 hours our roof was professionally repaired, relieving a ton of stress. Leah reacted quickly and got someone back out, as well as coming out herself to verify everything was resolved. The team did a wonderful job explaining what happened and resolving the issue quickly. Lastly, a portion of the work was not completed at the initially scheduled time. I was unaware, and had I not been notified likely would not have noticed for some time. Leah, however, immediately highlighted the remaining work and worked with me to find a time for someone to come back out to finish this last work item. I was impressed by the honesty as well as the high quality of the team's work.

We have a new roof! Fly Guys arrived at 8 a.m., here on San Juan Island and completed the work a little after 5 p.m. Not only was the work first rate, no corners cut, but they left the landscape and deck even more pristine than before. They even roofed the well house and repaired a tricky down spout. And they were cheerful and accommodating throughout. A big tip of the hat to Austin, Leah, Luis and all the folks of this young company. The only little being who was not very happy with the work was Iris. “No banging please.” We took a lot of walks.

Fly Guys did our roof in San Juan Island. It it difficult to find roofers on the island, so when I found that Fly Guys will come to the island, that was great. They showed up when they were supposed to and our job was pretty big as our roof is original and had lots of rotting along the edges. The owner himself was on the job and answered all our questions in advance which was great.
Fly Guys took care of replacing all the rotted wood and our roof looks great and now I am no longer worried about any leaking. They got us on the schedule quickly and cleaned up the job very well. Thanks Fly Guys.

Asked for an inspection due to a small leak in the roof ridge. They came out quickly, wrote up repair quote the next day, along with a reasonable price for a whole new roof as an option. Agreed on doing the repairs Monday and they had everything done Tuesday afternoon.

It started with a sense of dread finding a long piece of metal that had blown off the roof of my old house and was laying in the garden.

I have a house that is 76 years old that my Dad built when he returned from WWII. I was born and raised in the house and bought it from my siblings when my Mom passed in 2008. I lived in San Juan County for over 30 years and when I moved back to the house last year, I found that everything needed replacement and repair. I was told I might get one more year out of the roof that was already 20 years old.

When I saw that strip had blown off, I thought, I guess I will just Google roofing contractors to see what is out there. Fly Guys Roofing caught my eye because I had noticed the company working in San Juan County. When I read a great review from someone I knew on San Juan Island I knew I had to inquire. I completed the questionnaire on line and thought, I hope I hear something before winter sets in. Remarkably, 2 hrs later I got a call from Austin. I had a bunch of what if questions and he patiently answered them all. He offered me the several options for roofing repair and replacement and explained what each option entailed. He offered to send one of his staff out the next day. I was amazed at the responsiveness. Today, (the next day), a guy came out while I was at work and completely replaced the shingles on the ridge top. I had never seen the extent of what was needed on the roof, so getting before and after pictures of the situation was especially validating. I was able to see what was needed and agree to have the work done in real time while I was at work. Yes, it needed repair and in a matter of a few hours the whole ridge top was re-shingled. Yes, a new roof will be required but I got a sense of security knowing that the roof will hold over this winter with no serious problems.

Fly Guys management, administrative support and especially the technican staff up on the roof are a team of professionals. The customer service is excellent. If you want help with roof advice, repair or replacement, I highly recommend this remarkable company.

I will have peace of mind this winter while planning and saving for the roof replacement. I look forward to working with this roofing company for a complete roof replacement appropriate for my old family home in the future.

I don’t know if this is typical, but for us the timeline from estimate to installation was about two weeks. The install itself happened in one day! Well, now that its finally rained a few inches in Bellingham, I can write this review for Fly Guys. My roof is 100% water tight with no issues and looks absolutely fantastic. We had Ben and his crew do a complete tear off and install a new roof at the very end of August. The crew was fantastic and left without a trace of them having been there for two days. They additionally addressed a dead valley in my roof by installing a raised hip for better drainage which works flawlessly. Communication was always prompt and effective. I would 100% recommend this outfit for any roofing needs. We could not be happier with the quality, value, speed, and workmanship.

The roofing estimator, Ben, provided helpful information about the project, worked to keep the final invoice on budget, and exhibited a professional, friendly attitude. The roofing crew showed up earlier than expected and got the job done faster than anticipated. It was amazing to watch the crew as they worked like a machine plus did a great job of cleanup.
