Rainman Roofing And Repairs

The owner personally came out and did our garage roof after we built it onto the house, he also came out and fixed a leak that had occurred between the house and new garage and fixed a pipe boot that came off during a storm that wasn't part of his contracted work.

We thought we would wait a few months before providing an honest review. We were in desperate need of a new roof caused by a tornado and storm event dated April 17, 2024. Dustin and a few other companies were in the running for the job. Dustin is the only company who stayed persistent with State Farm. The claim, although denied initially, eventually was approved on appeal with a State Farm engineer.

Although Dustin did admit that some of his crew is new, it appears they did an average to below average job. Most of the roof is great, however, within 2 months, it leaked causing additional interior ceiling damage. Dustin came out about a week after we reported it and we believe fixed the leak. Around the same time, shingles in another area of the roof were not properly secured. A call again resulted in a temporary repair.

As of March 15, 2025 the area that was temporarily repaired was completely torn off, now placing our home in jeopardy of further damage. Contact was made by email and phone. The secretary is extremely kind and the owner is a likable guy… but… he needs to communicate better with his customers - especially ones that (if treated right) will do everything in their power to throw his company tons of work from our vast network of colleagues, family, friends, and… Google.

Hopefully the damaged shingles and ceiling gets fixed in a timely fashion. Like I said, likable guy and knowledgable about the roofing industry. 3 stars since communication and the fact repairs are going on over 2 months.

We will update once repairs are made. Hopefully there’s some huge positivity as an outcome. Hopefully, we can raise those stars to 4 or even a 5.

Update: April 2025; Dustin personally came out and repaired shingles. During recent storm, no further shingle or interior ceiling damage. More to follow on repair of ceiling.

Update: April 2025; Roof has been repaired. Wind gusts of 50 mph proved this. Dustin has personally scheduled a time within the week to repair our interior ceiling. So far, despite some mistakes, Rainman is making it right! More to follow.

Update: June 2025; ceiling damage repaired. Piece of trim from last windstorm only thing that still needs fixed. Upped 1 star.

These guys were awesome! Not only were they prompt, diligent, and very knowledgeable, but the owner kept me & my husband in the loop every step of the way! We're so happy with our brand new roof! Thanks again Rainman!
