Just had Radiant replace our aging roof. Very happy with the entire process, experience and results. Additionally during the time of the project our son was in the process of trying to make a decision about buying his first house. Rod took the time to evaluate the roof and gave his opinion on its condition to help out our son. Would highly recommend Rod and his crew.

We had a leaking roof for couple of years and was not able to get it fixed by couple roofers. Through a friend, we contacted Rod. They promptly came over the house did the proper repair. We are very happy with the work done by Rod and Kevin. They did whatever was necessary not just slap some caulking on it. Last month we also decided to have them to install Thermal barrier in our attic. We are happy with the work performed. We can really tell the difference w/wo the barrier.

Radiant Roofing does excellent work at very reasonable prices. I chose them based on the work they have done on several houses in my neighborhood and the very positive references and reviews from my neighbors and others. Let's face it, nobody WANTS to spend money on a new/replacement roof, but it's just one of those things you've got to do when you've got to do it. Rod and his crew are very good at what they do, as our new roof looks great. It was done quickly and professionally, plus their clean-up around our driveway and the entire perimeter of our house was very thorough, ensuring no materials (like nails) were left to haunt our car tires. Definitely recommend Radiant Roofing.

Rod and his team did an amazing job on our new roof. He came over and gave a quick and thorough quote, it was very fair compared to some of the companies with big billboards and our long demos. He answered lots of questions, even took special care to deal with our, screened in porch that had much thinner roof. His team showed up right when they said they would and worked the entire day to get it finished on time. It was one of the better experiences we’ve had with a home repair company, and I would recommend him to my good friends.

We bought a house in may and knew the home needed a new roof, and our realtor recommended rod and radiant roofing, they came out for an estimate and gave us a very fair price and told us they could start immediately. The crew spent three days at our home and completely redid all of the facia, soffit, shingles and replaced some of the water damaged wood on the roof. They were extremely professional, punctual, and obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. We were amazed at how hard they worked, in the middle of the Georgia summer. I would recommend this company 100 times over.

As my husband were relocating from New Jersey, Rod stepped in and saved the day. He replaced a very old roof with a wonderful new one. He chose the perfect color for the shingles and had his team fix what had rotted under the old roof. Rod's communication was excellent throughout the process. New Roof - I Highly Recommend!
I live in a historic neighborhood in a house built in the late 1940’s therefore I wanted to be selective on who I chose to remove and replace my roof. Rod and his team did exactly what they promised and I couldn’t be more pleased with the job. As a finishing touch to the roof, we decided to have Rod install chimney “caps” on the two chimneys as well. I Highly Recommend!

I'd like to share my experience with Radiant Roofing Solutions. The upper level in my house would not cool effectively on the hot summer days, even though the A/C for that level ran constantly. And the attic was blistering hot! Radiant installed the barrier in the entire attic and the results have been nothing short of amazing. That level now stays at an effortless 70 degrees, and the A/C cycles on way less, even on 106 degree index days! The crew was efficient and clean. I highly recommend them!

I had contacted Rod when I lived in my old house in 2020. He had come out and helped with some minor repairs and I remember liking him a lot then because of his honesty. I remember he didn't charge me because the repair was so minor, where other roofers were quoting hundreds of dollars. So when it came time to put on a new roof for my current house, I called Rod. He was responsive and quick and confirmed that I needed a new roof. He had his team out and they put on an entire new roof in one day. The guys were recommended to me by two separate individuals who were very happy with their work. Bottom line was there was an internal leak and water was flowing in places that it shouldn't and after the work was done, it was bone dry.

As with all the other commenters, they completed the roof in 1 day even with a smaller staff due to the world-wide shortage that we all know about. The materials came as promised a day before installation. They were able to also assist a neighbor friend of mine and my neighbors have all been impressed with the outcome of the excellent finished product.

Rod and his team did an amazing job on our roof! We are first time homebuyers and he made sure to give us all of the information we needed in replacing our roof. Our New Roof and Gutters look fantastic. We had put off having a new roof put on for far too long. Then we saw the professional folks at Radiant Roofing working on a new roof up the street from our house. We observed efficient team work, speed, and protective old roof removal, We met with the president and he provided an estimate that was well within our budget the same day! We were presented samples and guidance on both shingles and gutters. We signed up kicked off the project. The first step of the project consisted of high quality workmanship in removing the old roof and repairing the sub roof, putting in a new skylight, putting down a protective layer and putting on the new 30+ year Architectural Shingles. Watching these pro's provided us confidence that our roof will look great for decades. We also went with new seamless gutters and gutter toppers from Radiant Roof so the whole roof and gutter system complement each other and work together as an integrated solution handling heavy rains we get in Atlanta. Our house just increased in value by far more that we paid and we highly recommend Ron and the team at Radiant Roofing Solutions!

Radiant Roofing Solutions installed our roof on 11/1/2019. I have waited almost a year and a half to write a review because I wanted to see how it held up over time.

To date, our roof is as flawless as the day it was installed. I haven’t needed to call Rod for any repairs because the installers did such a good job, but I’m confident that if I needed to call him he would respond promptly and be as reliable as he was from the start.

Rod was very professional, informative and willing to answer any questions I had regarding products and installation. He quoted me an incredibly fair price and was upfront and transparent about any potential additional charges. (I was aware I had several pieces of rotted decking beneath the shingles that would need replaced, they even replace some rotted beams in my carport which I had no idea were in that condition!)

The team was great and worked quickly yet provided a quality product, they finished in one day as promised. They were at my home before sun up and worked all day to get the job done.

Rod and his crew are wonderful. After finding out there has been a leak in my roof for the previous three owners, you can imagine how upset I was. Every roofing company came over and wanted to redo the repair of the previous company. One of the several companies I used, did a repair, however the roof was still leaking. Upon further review, the chimney also had a problem that was never identified by this roofer. Rod came into the picture upon replacement of the Chimney cap which was more than half the price than the current roofer quoted. Another roofer came out to review the still leaking roof for a second opinion The chimney was good now. He wanted $6500 to redo everything the previous roofer had just finished. Mind you, the leak is only in one seam of one room. Rod came over to review everything and was able to patch up the shabby work that was left unfinished by most recent repair and amazing, my roof is not leaking through all these storms we have had over the last few months. From the first day following the completion of install, there was a noticeable improvement in the temperature on my top floor and my AC doesn't have to run as much as before. Would certainly recommend and wish I had done it sooner.

Highly recommend Radiant Roofing Solutions without hesitation. Covid-19 precautions were taken at all times without delay during these uneasy times. Rod Hartman is an utmost profesional, attentive to our needs and easy to work with as is his selected crew. Our roof was hit by enormous tree requiring major rafter work which other bids refused to take on. Radiant was up for the task, finished in a timely manner and inspection was instantly approved. My husband appreciated that the budget allotted was maintained.

In my opinion, radiant barrier is definitely the way to go for most residential construction. I had it done in my new construction house and it has been comfortable all summer. My my son-in-law did it in his and dropped attic temperature from 140 deg to 108 deg in August 2018. Professional work done as quoted. Everything explained. Can't ask for better service. Looks like an 18 to 24 month ROI for my 3600 sqft home.

Update March 5th, 2019. Still happy. Keeping us warmer than expected. Only downside was the antenna we planned for inside the attic didn't work in our new Faraday cage. But that was mostly expected.

Update September 4th, 2022. Still happy. Electric bill for cooling our 3600 sqft home for a maximum of $360 in the heat of the summer for last 3 years. Gas bill no more than $300. A combination of radiant barrier, normal blown insulation, good batting in the walls, and attention to detail have paid off. This technology is not right for all builds. But it was for mine.

As an aside, so has my decision to argue with City of Atlanta. I have a daylight basement. COA tried to force me to put batting between basement and first floor. Instead, I opted to insulate the basement letting the first floor and basement transfer thermal energy back and forth. The ground's thermal effect keeps the basement cool in the summer. And it keeps the basement from getting really cold in the winter. Sometimes it pays to buck the system.

But who am I to make these bold statements? Just a licensed Professional Engineer trying to save a few bucks for his family.
