Bob came to the house and conducted his roofing presentation. He was very thorough and answered all our questions. The time frame was extremely quick and the price was right for our budget.
The crew of four guys and a lady arrived and immediately got to work and never stopped even in hail, rain and high winds. The guys worked hard and efficiently. The lady cleaned our yard over and over again picking up everything that dropped from the roof. She never stopped either. AMAZING!!!
When the job was complete the roof was beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. I would not go with any other company. R&G Remodeling goes way above and beyond and we could not be happier with our purchase. Thank you Bob and company!!!

Bob and his crew replaced our roof today. His crew showed up early and stayed until the job was complete. Total professionalism! 5 person crew for my job, and one cleaned up during the whole process. I hired R&G to fix some issues on a house that I am trying to sell. They put new windows throughout the whole house as well as a new roof, soffit, siding and gutters. The communication was very good and the work was completed on time as promised. The price was very fair and they even painted the shutters and mailbox for free. I would highly recommend using them for any project you might have.

I just had anew door cut into my brick wall into my basement. Did such a wonderful job, Needed two steps to the door and they pour cement, when I was going to get brick ones. They went above and beyond on every aspect of the job. I would gladly recommend this company.

I had a great experience working with R&G Remodeling. I first hired them to clean my gutters and to add gutter protectors. Scheduling was easy and fast, Bob is super friendly. Price was reasonable. Later, I hired him to do that again and learned that they can do many other services. They helped us to move furniture around and did an excellent job with the gutters. Most importantly, when doing that Bob identified some minor problems with our roof that needed some easy fixes -- but if we hadn't done them, they could have turned into major problems. We came across R&G when we needed repairs on our property. Despite difficulties, Bob has done a very good job renovating our roofs and windows at reasonable prices.

Will definitely refer to our friends in the future.

I signed a contact with R&G to have my concrete porch sanded and painted. The work was performed in Oct 2022 The work was sloppy but the real issue occurred only 6 weeks later when the paint began flaking and falling off (perhaps due to poor preparation of the surface). I contacted the owner in Dec 2022 and he assured me that he would fix the issue.

It’s been a year now and they still have not committed to come back and re-do the job despite many attempts to reach the company by phone and email. During this period my concrete porch has likely undergone further weather damage as a result.

9-18-24

I received a call from the new office manager, Nichole, and she was very helpful. We discussed my situation and the repayment of my deposit. Nichole was quick to work out payment arrangements that she actually stuck to. I was surprised at how quickly she was able to resolve my problem. I have received my full deposit, and my issue is resolved.

I suggest that you speak to Nichole if you've had problems with this business before, and try to work with her to resolve your issue. While it won't change past problems, Nichole is trying to make positive changes moving forward.

After giving them a deposit in December 2022, Bob wouldn't give me a start date for my project. I sent dozens of emails and texts, and eventually I demanded a refund.

In June 2023, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Bob responded to them agreeing to give me a full refund. That was 5 months ago, and I haven't received anything yet.

Obviously I would not recommend this company to anyone. This has been unnecessarily stressful, and I just want my deposit back so I can get someone else to do the work.

After I contacted the PA Attorney General, I received a response from Bob on 11-8. He called to apologize and promised a $1000 check within a week, towards repayment of my deposit. I agreed to accept that check and monthly payments until the refund was paid off. Unfortunately, I still haven't received that check two weeks later.

Bob keeps promising to return my money but has not. Every time he tells me he'll give me my money by a certain date, that date passes with no check.

Instead of responding with a generic apology, return my deposit as promised.

Hired R&G to repaint my house. I will be up front in that they subbed this job out to another company. Although ultimately, I hired them. The quality of the work done was not what I would've expected. There was overspray in a few areas that should not have happened. All of my porch furniture has paint on it, as well as some spots on my back deck. My primary issue was that the paint bubbled in multiple spots; they were well aware of this and actually pointed some of it out. I was specifically told that they would come back and correct it. A few weeks after I did not hear back so I called Bob and he said he would get back to me to address it. I never heard from him again. After this experience I'll certainly never use them again, nor would I recommend them.

We had our roof and siding done and couldn’t be happier. Their prices were very fair and they were very quick to finish the jobs. Would definitely recommend

I just wanted to take the time out and say a few things about R&G. They are super friendly, on time, the value was great for my budget. They did a great job with replacing my slate tile on my roof and didn’t leave any garbage behind. They gave me the price of the job and didn't change the price like most places do at the end. I will be hiring them to do another job with my chimney in the near further. Thank you for a great job!

Just had R&G install a new roof on my house. Bob and his company exceeded expectations. They finished the job in 6 hours and the roof looks amazing. Bob was willing to take the time to explain in detail how the process would work and the work was reasonably priced. I will for sure be using R&G for my next project!

Hired to do a 20 year old patio roof and some of the wood underneath replaced. He charged $9,000 and sent crew who made the roof in worse shape than it was in previously. Was leaking down the back of the roof where it meets the house and down through the new rubber sheeting in the middle. Not to mention the paint all over my cement patio and hot tub steps. Contacted Robert who continuously sent a non english speaking crew to check it outband never came himself just to tell me the roof was fine despite the photos and videos of the water damage. Ended up having to call in another Roofer who i paid an additional $6,000 who said it was not flashed up against the house which caused the leaking. Ended up replacing all of the paneling on the underside of the roof due to the water damage. Definitely wouldnt recommend. Still debating on whether or not I should take this dude to court.

They replaced my roof last week and I'm very happy with their work. The owner is very nice and has a great sense of humor, the workers were great, the clean-up was better than expected everything was perfect! We will be using this company for future projects and I highly recommend them!

We used R & G Roofing to re-shingle our house. Bob got to us quickly, his guys did a great job on installation, and an excellent cleanup after. We plan on using them for several future planned renovations. Highly recommend them!

Quality work and Quality people. One of the best experiences I've ever had. Treated us with the same care and respect as if we where getting a whole new roof. Bob was amazing to work with. We asked him to come in May to build a roof over our deck. He gave us a realistic date and completed the job quickly and efficiently. All of the workers were reliable and very progressional. Our roof was installed in 1 week (builders, painter, and electrician). Everyone was approachable and easy to work with too.

RG was definitely one of I the best businesses’s I’ve worked with. They fixed some lifted up shingles before a rain storm ⛈. They were timely, did great work, and prices were great. Will use them again in the future.

I tried calling to inquire about a job from rob and he hung up in my face. It was very rude and unprofessional. He called back and said he has 20 people call him a day “like me” and waste his time. People “like me” was that he asked if I owned the home and I said no and he immediately hung up on me. I am a an exstablished interior designer and project manager with a great reputation and was looking for a framer for a large project we have coming up and he has great reviews. But obviously he doesn’t work with “people like me”

Bob is the best in Pittsburgh! RG Remodeling remodeled my upstairs bathroom within a week's time. My house is 80+ years old and was looking very grandma-esque, if you see the photo of partial part of the bathroom it looks like a fire hit it, this is where a stand alone shower was that caused a leak in downstairs ceiling. I could not have asked for better service, professionalism, more than fair pricing, respectful employees, and a complete 360 of my bathroom. It really stands out from the rest of the house and makes me eager to have them back asap! They are literally giving my grandma house plastic surgery, if you will. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Bob at R&G was great! He came out and gave me quote the weekend I contacted him and less than a week after I let him know I’d like to use them I was on the schedule for my roof replacement. He was very communicative and since I was at work while they were installing he sent me update pictures through the day. They were able to finish the roof and the gutter guards in one day - the only evidence that they had been there was the dumpster waiting to be picked up. I was very happy and would definitely recommend R&G for roof replacement.

R&G removed the existing roof shingles and sheathing and installed new roof rafters, sheathing, and shingles for an upcoming solar panel installation. They also installed new fascia and gutters. They did all the work in basically one day. The work is first class. Very pleased with the results.

I was looking for a quote to have my roof looked at as a preventative going into the winter. I called R&G roofing, recommended by my Whitehall community. The next day the company was out at my property and quoted me a price and explain to me what work needed done. We scheduled a time for the job. When they showed up, the job was completed in less than a day. I few extra things popped up on the roof during the job and R&G roofing did those repairs with no extra charge. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to anyone who needs roofing or general construction done.

Charged me $400 to Re-seal my skylights. Swept all the scrap pieces of sealant into my yard. I have 4 small dogs that would have tried to eat it so i spent an hour picking it up myself. The next time it rained the skylights still leaked. I called him back and he said no problem give me a couple days I'll be back out. Waited 3 weeks and he still never called or showed. Called Cooksey Exteriors in bethel park and he was very professional and actually sealed my skylights.

Just moved into a new house and had a storm water flow emergency. They came out promptly and fixed the problem. I couldn't be more thankful.

Bob had us scheduled within a week and done in only a few hours. He and his crew did great removing the old roof, installing the new and cleaning up.

Bob personally came out the next morning to check our damage and had someone here to emergency tarp us within 48 hours! Quick, efficient and professional!

UPDATE3 YEARS LATER:
RG Roofing seemed like a great idea until it wasn't.  We were told that a whole new roof was put on our house but little did we know that they didn't rip up whatever was on the flat portion part of the home they just covered it up with "ice water".  Three years later, the "ice water" blew up off the roof.  The first worker that arrived came and glued it back down and said that it was only a temporary fix and it would need redone entirely and Bob would get back to me. Two days later, it blew up again.  Called Bob and stated that the employee said it was only temporary and that it would need attention to be fully fixed.  Another 3 weeks go by and another person comes to fix the roof and again, just glues down the "ice water" and states that it is temporary and needs attention.  The 3rd time it blew up, I called Bob numerous times to schedule a time for someone to come and look at it and figure out a solution.  He gave me a phone number to call and schedule a time with Sydney. To note, this issue has been going on since mid-April and it is now July.   I called the office 8x in that week and left 2-3 voicemails with no response.  Called Bob again and he stated that they never received my calls or voicemail, which is a lie. Bob then came over that day with another worker to figure out the issue. The worker was on our roof gluing down the ice water again.  Bob then asked for our contract, which I gave him and stated that we were contracted to receive a new roof and ice water put on the roof.  Nothing on the contract stated that he was covering up what was currently on the low pitch, it stated "new roof" as in NEW ROOF taking off everything on the old roof.  He got angry and is refusing to do the work under the warranty.  Screaming at me in my backyard that I am the problem and doesn't understand "why your husband doesn't handle these issues"  Clearly has a problem with women as he said "I knew you would be an issue". The poor employee apologized after Bob left and said he is hot headed.  My husband then called and Bob said he would have someone over the week of the July 4th to fix the problem or at least figure out a solution.  That week has now pasted and no one came to a resolution.  We will be moving forward with another company to fix this ongoing issue since April and will never use Bob or recommend RG Roofing to anyone. Highly suggest to stay away, the price might be right but as soon as there is an issue of any sort, he will become defensive and refuse to help and threaten lawyers because "it's not his fault it blew up"  might not be his fault the wind blew but installed a product that clearly can't test the time of 3 whole years.  Take a look at some of the R&G Roofing and Siding reviews, which is also his business- shady.

JULY 2021:
R&G Remodeling replaced our entire roof in 2 days. Day 1, they were here until the sun went down. Bobby's team of roofers were fantastic and worked hard both days in the heat. The roof looks amazing, we couldn't be happier with it. Turn around time was fast, responsive, price was right. 100% recommend R&G for any roofing needs!
