Quality Roofing Midvale

Worst contractor experience I've ever had. Roof leaked a couple months after install, and the guy that came out to fix it said that they forgot to seal around the swamp cooler. Fixed it, and I was actually impressed with the honesty and speed in addressing the problem. Contacted John Evans (owner) about a week later to make arrangements to repair the sheetrock in my living room, and he said it wouldn't be covered because the contract states that damages caused by material failures are not covered. How is not doing your job a material failure? Instead of arguing or taking it to court over what might have been a $200 repair at most, I figured I'd never use them again. Fast forward to 5 years later, and I'm up in my attic to assess space I might be able to use as storage. Well, one of the sheathing walls is completely rotted because the experts at Freedom Roofing decided to install the flashing by tucking it underneath and behind the plywood sheathing... yes friends, I was looking at flashing from the INSIDE of my attic that is supposed to be installed on the OUTSIDE of the sheathing and behind the siding. It's only fate and luck that I caught it before my entire attic was filled with mold and my roof trusses were compromised. Come to find that it seems Freedom Roofing is now out of business. What a shock. Glad I chose such a quality company with so many years of reliability to do one of the most major jobs that can be done to a house. I would strongly recommend that anyone who has had work done by these people, get a thorough roof inspection done, both outside on the roof, and INSIDE THE ATTIC to avoid costly repairs down the road.

John was very helpful in regards to selecting a roof color. The price was fair and the work appears to be well done. The cleanup was also good. They took time to make sure any nails or metal pieces were removed from the flowerbeds and yard. John was also able to assist us with some guttering issues. They came when they said they would be here and completed the job in a timely matter.
We are very pleased with our roof.

We have worked with Freedom Roofing on two separate occasions, once for some basic gutter maintenance, and a second time for more extensive work caused by ice damage. We have found them to be honest and extremely punctual. We will use them exclusively in the future for all our roofing needs. Always consult with Freedom Roofing before having any work done!
