We had Bighorn replace our roof and siding on fascia, soffit,and gables plus all new rain gutters…. Very easy to work with and the finished job is excellent….. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work done on their house…….

The whole BigHorn team has been incredible to work with, from start to finish! My deciding factor on going with them vs the other bids I got, was how thoroughly Jaxon explained the process, with step by step photos, and hands on materials showing me what was going on my roof. I changed my mind anout the roof color the day before delivery about the color, and they were so accommodating! Sarah was great to communicate and let me know when everything was happening. The roofers themselves were so professional, showing up bright and early and not stopping all day to get it finished (my house is on the smaller side). I was seriously impressed with how hot it must have been and how tiring the job must be! My new roof looks amazing and I feel 100% confident in the workmanship and product. They did my roof this week. The job was done quickly, professionally, and their cleanup was perfect!! Quality control came a day later and checked for any problems.

Horrible customer service, the company does not care about its clients, they failed to deliver what they promised and they will put the blame back to the client.
Here is the reason why I will never recommend Bighorn Roofing to anyone,
The roof of my house got damage last year by the hail storm, I didn’t know any roofing companies so I just did a search, I found Bighorn Roofing and made an appointment, Jaxon Hall was Bighorn Roofing designated agent, he came to my home an offered all these great things, including his commitment to process all necessary documents, pictures, etcetera to my insurance, I believed in Jaxon Hall’s baloney, but it was a big mistake, not long after this first meeting he change his cell phone number so I couldn’t reach him, at one point I was worried that he wasn’t a Bighorn Roofing employee, so I had to drive to Bighorn Roofing’s office in Midvale, they told me about Jaxon’s new phone number. I provided my home insurance representative name, phone number and email for him to send all necessary documents and pictures, because Jaxon Hall didn’t have a clue who to contact. After the job was completed I found out that the insurance was not covering the fascia, I called my insurance and they told me that they didn’t receive anything from Bighorn Roofing for the fascia repair, they also told me that there is a review process, Jaxon Hall could send all the require documents and pictures for review, I talked to Bighorn Roofing’s office clerks about this, and they passed the information to Jaxon Hall, he said that he was going to work on this, that gave me some relief, months passed with no news which made me believe that everything was approved, until Friday May 30th, Jaxon Hall sent me a text “Hey Raul, Jaxon here with bighorn. I went through all our files and photos and do not have any before pictures of the fascia and gutters. If you do anywhere pls send them to me. If not you will have to pay the $1029.75 out of pocket. Pls let me know how you’d like to proceed. Thanks” This message was an eye opener for me, firstly the fascia was the only thing that was not covered by my insurance the gutters were covered by my insurance (so Jaxon Hall didn’t even remember my case), secondly why did he send me this message months after? It clearly tells me that Jaxon Hall did not do anything to get my claim approved; moreover, when I ask Jaxon Hall to provide the name of some upper management person so I can share my concerns about his work, he just ignored me, not surprising it wasn’t the first time that Jaxon Hall just ghost it me, so I drove to the office to speak with a manager, waste of time, I talked to a manager named Jonathan Howe, who didn’t care about me, he just called Jaxon Hall, Jaxon just told the “Manager” that I had to pay, Jonathan Howe did not even care about the text message that Jaxon Hall sent me about not having pictures, which is not the customer responsibility, they supposed to be the experts. I thought about filing a claim in the Small Claims Court, submit a complain to the Better Business Bureau, or Utah Division of Consumer Protection, but I already spend too much time, energy and frustration with this company and its employees Jaxon Hall and Jonathan Howe that is why I just paid the balance. I just want to warn you, if you considering doing business with Bighorn Roofing, take pictures, save documents, emails, everything you can, you never know, they might lose them and if you can’t provide them, you will receive a text saying the you have to pay for their incompetence

We really appreciated the folks at BigHorn rooting! My wife and I were looking for a team of professionals to help us replace our roof. BigHorn was exactly what we needed to meet our needs! This is the third roof I have put on since building my home 53 years ago. It was the best experience I have had with a contractor since that time.
I researched several companies, and I received several bids and sat through three presentations while deciding which company to go with. Bighorn Roofing was right there with the estimate with what I had expected and willing to pay. There was no pressure as with some of the others and everything was spelled out as to how and what they would do. Aaron was our salesperson and did an excellent job.
The work was done right on schedule everything cleaned exceptional well up with no hassle. What I really appreciated most was the attention to the inspection and honesty afterward.

The inspector (Nate) came out and discovered a soft spot still existed in an area that they had found in the original inspection. They had replaced the wood on it as agreed to along with other areas that had not come up in the original inspection at no extra cost. They discovered that the problem was structural and not just the wood that they were going to replace.
They came out and removed that part of the roof and went into the trusses to correct the problem. That was done at no additional cost. additional cost.

This could have been covered up and I would never have known about the problem.
i would recommend them to anyone anytime.

Very happy we went with Big Horn. Our estimator and main contact Mike spent a lot of time on the roof and was very thoughtful about what we needed. He explained everything and gave his reasoning, he wasn’t annoyed by my annoying questions. Mike is a guy with a ton of knowledge and experience.

I got 5 quotes, Big Horn was not the cheapest, they were not the most expensive, but I think there’s a lot of value in the amount of time they spend estimating. When I had a question mid project Mike came to my house in the evening (8 pm!) got on the roof with me and showed me what the issues were, which were potential issues he had already noted when he came to provide the estimate.

I’m sure if they have other estimators they’re good too, but ask for Mike if you can, just a thorough thoughtful guy, we hope to be able to use Big Horn again for our other housing projects.

I needed a roof. My neighbor recommended Bighorn. So GLAD they did estimates with no hidden cost, are awesome to work with, and the inspection was thorough. And just one little itty bitty thing left to do which they whipped out and did TODAY!!

I just got my roof done this week. These guys are awesome! I got several bids, and BigHorn was very competitive. I even made a few special requests and the sales guy Mike was so accommodating and bent over backwards to help me. When we got it scheduled, there was not a long lead time. They told me what days the material would be delivered, when the dumpster would be dropped off, and when the crew would install. Everything went perfectly, and on schedule. The crew of installers were awesome. I was so impressed with how fast they did this project. I was told it would most likely take 2 days, but they had the whole thing done in 1 day. I looks great. I also opted to get new gutters and BigHorn had great pricing. Thanks again you guys.

I've worked with a lot of contractors in SLC and Big Horn roofing is the only one that after working with, I would immediately recommend to other people with no caveats. Sales never felt pressured, contract was transparent with no 'gotchas', the job was done quickly and according to schedule, cleanup was thorough, and follow-up was actually done to make sure everything was perfect and according to contract (they forgot a cricket on our chimney but fixed it within a week).

On top of all of that, we got quoted a lower dollar amount for a higher quality installation that came with a transferable warranty, something other contractors didn't include in their higher price, lower quality, no warranty quotes.

Highly recommend Bighorn!! The entire process from estimate to finish was incredible! The staff are phenomenal, great communication every step along the way. I’m telling you, don’t even bother with other bids. Just go with Bighorn, they’re the best!

After MANY different roofing companies touted they were the best and could replace my roof, only BigHorn Roofing got the job done. Mike and Nate were professional, super informative and upfront with no sales pressure! The scheduling was really easy and they had the roof completed in one day- I was very impressed. Everyone at BigHorn Roofing was amazing to work with. I spoke with Linda in the beginning because I have Solar Panels and I needed to find out if they took care of the removal and replacement of those. She was very helpful and explained that they work with another company for that and they are very easy to work with. She scheduled an appointment for Jake to come out and meet with us.

We met with Jake and he did an assessment of our roof which was about 26 years old and suggested that it be replaced and showed us some pictures of missing shingles in several areas on the roof. He went over several options with us and the different warranties on each and took the time to answer all of our questions and explain the whole process. He's a great guy and I really wanted to work with him and their crew, but I told him I needed to get more estimates with him being the first. He was understanding and gave us the space to do that. In the end the estimate he gave us was fair and we decided to go with them.

He got us on the list and soon we spoke with Brandie who was amazing she told us what to expect next and got the ball rolling first she scheduled a date contacted Red Peak to remove the panels and ordered a dumpster to be dropped off and the Roofing team to be here shortly after the dumpster arrived. They sent 4 guys 2 for the house and 2 for the detached garage. They worked hard and got it all done in one day. You couldn't even tell they were here by the end if the day. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Nate came out for the final inspection several days later and he too was great to work with even identified my tree for me in the front yard lol. Great company with great people at a fair price throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend BigHorn Roofing for any of their roofing needs. Thank you to the wonderful team!

Very impressed with the work and communication of the process. They explained the process and answered all question and ensured everything was properly completed on time. They provided solutions for ventilation issues others would dismiss. They did an excellent job at cleaning the job site everyday to ensure my yard was clear for my dogs.

BigHorn was excellent. We had a skylight start leaking this fall and BigHorn had someone out to see us within a couple days and then the roofing started within about a week despite some not great weather! I heard their ad on our local public radio station and called to see if they could squeeze us in before the weather changed. We had had some recent damage on our barn roof. The estimator came out the very next day and actually patched the damaged area for us just in case the roof had to last through the winter. No charge and I hadn’t hired them yet. The estimate was reasonable so they watched the weather and got it done the following week before the first major snow. All other roofing companies I had called said “sorry, booking next May”. These guys got it done for me! I will certainly use them again if needed and highly recommend this company.

Bighorn Roofing was so good to work with. They came and gave us bid quickly on two options we requested. Their bid was reasonable and the timeline was perfect for us. Their build crew was very professional and cleaned up well after the roof was finished. Jacob was great to answer my questions and to direct the project since we needed our solar removed and reinstalled as well!

I called Bryce after deciding not to install a metal roof that I had already purchased after I noticed i needed some sheeting replaced. We talked for a good while, then he had one of his estimator's come out and take a look and get me a bid. Jaxon came out asked what I wanted and got things started. I told him how I wanted to get my soffit, fascia, and gutters done after the roof. He told me that they did that too. Well shit, hook me up with that price too. Talk about your 1 stop shop.... Needless to say I now have a new roof, new soffit and fascia, plus new gutters and downspouts. Siding is going to be next, GUESS WHAT!!! THEY DO THAT TOO.... Absolutely great folks to work with. I had this company come out and get a guy to do an estimate. Aaron was extremely nice, on time, and I had such high hopes. He said he would get an estimate to me by the end of the day. I then explained “oh no rush, take your time”. And he responded with “oh no it’ll easily be over by tonight, it doesn’t take me long”. This was a Monday. I waited until Friday of the same week and hadn’t heard back, so I called the company. They apologized and said they would reach out to Aaron who had come to do the estimate. Flash forward almost another TWO weeks, I still hadn’t gotten my estimate. Called back and the lady said the same thing. She would reach out to Aaron who did the estimate. It is now over a month later from the estimate date, and I STILL haven’t received anything. So I tried to call to politely let them know I was going with another company (in case for some reason they did get their act together and get me my estimate any time in the near future), and the line just kept ringing and ringing until finally it sounded like someone picked up and then immediately hung up on me. No opportunity to leave a message or anything. Needless to say, going with a different company now.

We had Mike Wright with Bighorn quote a replacement roof. It was a painful experience. The quotes we received demonstrated an extreme inability to perform basic math. Through much pain and effort Mike quoted line by line the work that we were looking for but in the end when we asked for a total it somehow added up to much more than the individual parts. Bighorn's employees seem incapable of providing estimates. We still to date have an unanswered email to Mike weeks later requesting the correct total. Not at all impressed with this company. It is important to hire competent employees and our experience was similar to pulling teeth to work with Bighorn. Have severe concerns with trusting them to do actual roof work. We found several other companies that quoted the same work at a significant and substantial discount to the Bighorn estimates. Our experience is that they were significantly overpriced compared to other verified roofing companies with thousands of positive reviews.

They are the best roofing company with unbeatable prices , highly recommended.

The roofing supervisor was very experenced an showed me places that later on would be a problem ....I recommend these people for sure . THERE prices came in just a little bit higher, but they gave me a better deal in the end that i was happy with ....

Bighorn Roofing did an excellent job installing James Hardy siding on our house in Emigration Canyon, Salt Lake City. The cost was reasonable and the crew were on time and skilled. Communication with the foreman was easy and concerns promptly addressed. I recommend them highly.

Excellent quality, timely and clean work crew. I’ve seen other roofers in the neighborhood and I had lots of construction debris in my yard. But not so with BigHorn, which I appreciate.

In reading some of the reviews underneath, it seems like I am also getting the same treatment as some of the other people. It was hard to get anybody to show up to do a quote. When I finally had somebody scheduled to come, he told me he would be a couple of hours late, meaning I would not be able to meet with him personally.
The job was quoted at a reasonable price (at first), however, this "three day" job ended up taking a whole week, and when I asked for updates, I'd receive very short answers. The dumpster that was used to haul away the roofing materials, remained at my house for so long, that people began using it to dump old furniture. When the dumpster was picked up, they actually took the time to remove the furniture, leaving it at my house, and now I have to find a way to fix their mistake.
Now that the job is finished, it is incredibly difficult to get in contact with them. The house had more than one layer of shingles which meant more material would need to be used. This was quoted as a 1800 dollar increase. When they sent the payment link, I'm now being charged 3300.
This company did not impress me in the correct way. I've dealt with insurance companies that are more pleasant to deal with. If you go with this company, I'd advice you to be careful.

My first impression wasn't good with Bighorn but the owners came out in a freak snowstorm at night to get on the roof with me to fix the issue, then they heavily discounted my new rain gutters to make it right. Fast forward 3 years and there were some things that came up (not done right, overlooked, I don't know) but it was raining inside my house. Bighorn was quick on it to get someone out to look at it and they are on my roof right now as I'm typing doing warranty work just like they initially promised they would do. 4 stars because I'd rather not have the issues but I'll be damned if they don't honor their warranty and do what they say they will. I'll recommend Bighorn just for that alone.

We are so please with the work that BigHorn Roofing did for us. The greatest thing was the price was so reasonable for our huge roof with lots of gables. Working with Jaxon, Nate and Mike was such a good experience, but Brandi and Sarah were the most awesome to work with. We hired Big Horn to replace our original roof. From beginning to end, the experience was easy and pleasant. The presentation and explanation for what we were getting was professional and easily understood, the roofers were fast and cleaned up well, the foreman who came to check the work explained everything again well and then did an additional pass to pick up the missed debris, which was minimal.

Great HONEST roofer! Between putting my deposit down and starting my project, my shingle color was discontinued, and Mike went out of his way to make sure he found me a great substitute that I liked. Definitely recommend Big Horn!

Jason was very friendly and professional. Anwered all my questions. Just had a few concerns. A lot of nails and garbage was left. And the communication for the scheduling was Hard. I had to call constantly for the next step to be done.

100% recommend! Big Horn Roofing just replaced our roof and my wife and I were shocked at how good they were to work with. After several negative contractor experiences, these guys were responsive, honest, friendly and went above and beyond. I saw them on their hands and knees picking nails out of our grass and bushes (after they went over everything with the magnate) because I told them I was afraid my young kids would step on them. Then I asked them to patch some bricks onto my chimney that had previously fallen off and they did it beautifully for no charge. Then I asked if they’d fix some siding and one of my downspouts and they did it with new material as well without charge or complaining. We had our roof reshingled by Big Horn. Their quote came in right about where we expected. We are glad to have better quality shingles than our house had originally and they installed a ridge vent as well.

So to clarify Bighorn Roofing does not service the Park City and Wanship area for Roofing, Soffit fascia and Siding???

Reached out for a quote for soffit, facia and some siding, used there hover app, 3 days later go a text from Linda that says they will not be providing us with a quote, no further explanation, no phone call, nothing, best of luck to anyone that deals with them, customer service and follow through are key to running a business something they lack!

I could not be more pleased. The salesman was attentive and helpful. He made an oversight, but it was corrected at the back end. The workers were polite and the cleanup was satisfactory. To my surprise, Nate, a ‘quality control’ person showed up after the job, and talked to me about the work they did. I wanted something different from what the workers had done, and Nate saw to it. Another team came out and did exactly what I wanted. In fact, I was so happy with the second team, that I gave each of them a token of my gratitude. They provided a written warranty. The price was reasonable and competitive. They did not vary from the quoted price. The overall experience was very positive. I am confident recommending them.

From beginning to end Bighorn Roofing has been professional and fair. I compared prices with 4 different companies and considering the quality of the roof and the warranty on it, by far I got the best deal.
The sales rep, roofing crew, and inspection supervisor were on time and professional. I was able to see several completed homes before choosing the color, and was able to see their finished work.
The whole roof was completed in 2 days, and they cleaned up well and protected my plants.

I try to support businesses that support KRCL radio. They gave me a great quote, thousands less than I had assumed it would be, and waited untilI I was ready. They showed up when they said they would and took only 2 1/2 days to remove the old roofing materials and put on the new roof. I have a 2-story house with a Gambrel roof that is not small. They didn’t take the final payment until someone did a final inspection and remade a small section of roof that wasn’t satisfactory. All in all a hassle free and very professional experience.

The crew at Bighorn roofing did a fantastic job tearing off and installing my new roof. The sales rep (Aaron Jones) stopped by several times after his initial bid to answer my questions. The installation crew came out as scheduled and completed the job within 2 days. After completion of the roof, the supervisor came out and inspected everything to make sure everything was done correctly. He did find one small issue, and that was taken care of the following day. I'm very happy with the new GAF system roof which was installed at my home. My 45 year old home looks Fantastic! Thanks Bighorn!

So I did a thing I say you should NEVER do…. I called a company I saw an ad for on Facebook.

We desperately needed to redo our roof. We had THREE layers of shingles and damaged plywood that needed to be replaced. ALL the bids we got were in the 14k range, so we had decided to do the work ourselves. The day before we were supposed to start the tear off I saw this ad on FB and thought why not give them a shot? I called and that day they had someone come give us a bid…substantially lower than the others we’d received. I figured the materials would be subpar for that price. Nope, same materials we were planning to use ourselves.

So we signed a contract, put half down and a week later they started work. In ONE day they tore all the shingles off, fixed 5 panels of damaged plywood, put up an ice barrier, new drip edge, added venting that had never been installed, and finished the roof!!! ONE freaking day! The yard was practically immaculate! I was beyond shocked! Neighbors have called asking who did the roof after watching the amazing work they did.

But nothing is perfect, is it? Unfortunately our swamp cooler was damaged when the shingles were being removed. I contacted the company, & sent them photos. They had a heating and cooling company replace the damaged swamp cooler with a new one a week later. No hassles, just an apology, and they took care of it immediately❣️

I could not recommend this company more!!! You can’t do business on a handshake anymore, but this company comes as close to it as you can. Quick, friendly, honest & reliable. We are so grateful we found BigHorn Roofing, and are planning to redo the exterior of our house with them next year.

I had an overall good experience. Not perfect. I would recommend Bighorn, though. they did my roof, soffits, fascia, and gutters. The guy who did the estimate was nice and tried to save us money by not having to add new sheathing. since im in an older house, he should have just been honest up front and told us we needed it. We did get it eventually because the roofers working said so after stripping the old tiles off. It ballooned the cost, but it was necessary. They did a great job on the roof and added everything we wanted and needed. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I didn't find a single nail after they were done. The subcontractors for the soffits and fascia, however, left a mess and just kind of swept it up against the house or into bushes. Had to call the office to have them come back and clean up after them. I love the look of our roof and new soffits, fascia, and gutters. Again, i would recommend them.

We could not be happier with our new roof from Bighorn Roofing! We got several bids, and Bighorn was near the least expensive... not the lowest, but pretty close. We chose them due to their knowledge, expertise, and warranty… we’re so glad that we did! We had no negative issues at all. And the roof looks great too!

BigHorn did an excellent job removing my old roof and installing the new one. They showed up when they said and were finished in just a few days. They accomodated me when I wanted to remodel the area over my front porch. I would highly recommend them. Bighorn did my roof last year. The roof still keeps us dry, but since the installation, I’ve found a few exposed nail heads that I just tarred over myself. The shingles still buckle in several places. The gutters are a little sloppy and the corner pieces, which must have been painted over at the time of installation, are now peeling to reveal brown underneath (my gutter’s gray). It’s a roof, and it works, but it was too expensive for what we got.

Mike came and explained everything into details about all options for the new roof. Compared to the other companies they gave me a good deal. The workers came in 2 weeks and finished in one and half day. Cleaned everything after finishing. I am very satisfied with all work they did from the beginning to the end.
After 4 weeks another person stopped by to check the roof one more time and answered some questions.

The employee (Mike) that I worked with on my Front Porch soffit project did a perfect job. He is to be commended. Brandie in the office was very polite and always made sure everything was taken care of. I will continue using Bighorn for exterior projects and will pass info on to my family and friends, thank you
