Roof Rite - Midvale, UT

I had a entryway gutter leak for several years that continued after paying a gutter contractor to repair. I then remembered that I had an extended warranty with Roof Rite and called their owner, Henry Copier. Henry came to the house, inspected the gutter leak, and said that the leak was from the roof valley waterproofing.
He said that, 18 years after installation, the repair would be fully covered under warranty. His roofer came, did the repair, and three rain storms later there has been no leak.

We’ve recently used Roof Rite for a couple of our rental properties and have been extremely pleased with their service. They are incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and quick to get the job done. Their efficiency and reliability make them a standout in the industry. We’ll definitely continue using them for all of our roofing needs and highly recommend their services!

Henry and his crew did a great job with our roof. They worked around the crazy spring weather schedule and were able to finish the job in a day and a half. RoofRite reroofed my house. Henry, the owner, is very service oriented. When planning the project, he came out promptly multiple times to help with the selection of the shingles, and determine the cost (which was reasonable). Communication during the project was great, too.

Navigating a roof replacement after two-decades in our home was unfamiliar territory; however, our questions were promptly and expertly addressed by Henry. Roof Rite's pricing can't be beat. We've used them for two roof replacements, and we're pleased with the service we've received. Our most recent replacement saw some setbacks, but those were mostly due to weather. The crews were polite and efficient, and they cleaned up additional messes that were made during the repairs.

I have recently asked Henry to inspect the roof of a house I own in Sandy, and give me a quote to fix or replace it. He was at my house within 45 min. of my call. Rather than selling me on an expensive fix/reroofing, he told me that the roof was in good shape and didn't need to be replaced at this time.

On my request, he climbed on the roof inspected the flashing around the furnace exhaust pipe and fixed a gap/hole - all this at no cost.

I have another house that will require a new roof in the spring of 2024. He will be the first I call when it is time to do the work.

My ex and I had a few roof repairs done over several years by Roof Rite. We were very impressed by the care Henry exhibited when contemplating and completing work. He is knowledgable about his business, his communication is clear and interactive, his pricing seems fair, and he even did some work gratis.

When the time came this year to replace my roof, Henry was the first person I contacted. I was pleased with his responsiveness to my myriad questions and his attentiveness to my concerns - as well as his timeliness. His crew was hard working and responsible, they were careful to protect my landscaping, and they cleaned up the job site well. So far as I can tell from my vantage point on the ground, they did a great job!

Henry Copier far exceeded my expectations for our roof replacement. He had completed a family member's roof a while back, which is how I first got word of his stellar reputation. Work completed in 2 short days ahead of schedule. Competitive bid, and open/frequent communication through the bid, scheduling, and work process. Will definitely use for any future roofing projects, and highly recommended to all.

Henry runs a tight ship. In my experience the RoofRite crew was well trained and hard workers. Had a few rain delays but once the skies cleared they were on it! My location was difficult to access and inconvenient but Henry worked around that and finished on time. In todays market his price was more than fair, quality materials were used and installation was precise. Most of all tho, Henry was on the up and square, honest and trustworthy, no surprises. Try to put a value on that....

We loved our experience with Roof Rite! We bought a house with a detached garage that was in serious need of a new roof. They came out and replaced the roof in a few hours. It looked so good we asked them for a quote on the house roof as well. They gave us a very competitive quote and did a great job! There were a bunch of color options and the team was super friendly. Henry was very communicative and always responded quickly to any questions. They even removed an old swamp cooler and sealed off the hole. Would highly recommend!!

What can I say about Hank? He said he'd drop supplies on Tuesday and supplies were there on Tuesday.
He said they'd start on Thursday and be done in one day. A large crew showed up on Thursday and finished the same day.

After nearly a year of researching and 4 or 5 quotes from several roofers, I decided to go with Roof Rite for my new roof. It was a decision made easier by being able to see their work on a neighbor’s house and Henry and his team at Roof Rite came highly recommended. Also, it didn't hurt that Roof Rite also came in with the most competitive bid with all the options I wanted for my roof, including a great quality shingle with great color options and with a lifetime warranty, a continuous ridge vent, and quality workmanship.
Henry was great to patiently answer all my questions, usually within minutes of submitting them, and let me know what all to expect. His pricing was all clear and upfront, no hidden charges and the final invoice matched perfectly.
Another thing that made this a great experience was how fast it all came together in the end. The quote listed a lead-time of about 2 weeks from the time I placed the order. Imagine my surprise when, within hours of submitting my order late Tuesday night I get an email stating that it would be started the next week. Well, then on Wednesday, I get another email stating if I can my shingle choice into him by end of day Thursday that the materials will be delivered on Friday and the install will begin on Saturday. That was awesome and everything came together as promised and at 8pm that Saturday I had a fully installed new roof, including the complete tear off of the old shingles and sealer, replacing 6 sheets of plywood, completely repairing a 12’ section of rotted facia (not planned for), and full clean up. Now, I don’t know if he can do this for all his customer’s, but this was a great surprise for me!
Also, I was ecstatic to see the reasonable and fair price for the unplanned repair. It would be easy to inflate the cost for unexpected issues, but that was not the case with Henry and something that I appreciate greatly.
At the time when Henry submitted his proposal, he add the following statement:

I used Roof Rite in May 2019 for a complete tear off and re-roof including sheathing. I got bids from about 5 companies, felt comfortable with Henry and was not disappointed. One of the main reasons was because I called him a couple of times with questions and he was more than happy to spend 20 to 30 min going over every little detail with me about ridge vents, turtle vents, soffit vents, fascia board etc. They were able to start quickly and got the entire project done quickly. They worked long hours over a holiday weekend to keep on schedule. When it was done there was hardly any cleanup required on my part. They even put plywood over plants in the garden to make sure and not damage anything. Would definitely recommend!

We just bought a house that had roof issues and during the buying process we were negotiating this with the sellers. Henry came out to do an estimate and sat down to explain to us that the roof condition was okay and just needed a few repairs. We greatly appreciated this and his advice led us to the decision in buying the home and he said he would do the repairs for X amount of dollars and warranty his work. Now that we've bought the house, he won't return my calls and is no where to be found. And of course we can't find a company to do it for the same price. I can't speak for his work but honesty and reliability is a big deal to me. If you are not a person of your word, I'll never do business with you.

Roof-Rite replaced the roof of our garage a few years ago and last week they replaced the roof of our residence. Both times they did an excellent job, and it was a pleasure to work with Henry and his crew. The recent job in particular, in addition to being professional and craftsmanlike, turned out to be sooner, quicker, and cheaper than we had anticipated. We have used Roof Rite a couple of times to replace missing shingles after wind storms. They are always very responsive and quick and even came out same day this last time when I let them know it was urgent. Will definitely use again for roofing needs.

We used Roof Rite to replace our roof 3 years ago. At that time, they had given us a very competitive price and did a good job. Our house sits atop a hill and gets a lot of wind. Recently some shingles had blown off. I emailed Henry asking if he could repair the roof. I had a response within the hour and within a couple of days my roof was repaired. The best part, he informed me it was all covered under the warranty! Great professional service!

They put a new roof on for a fair price. We also got a huge rainstorm the night my roof was torn off and the owner was on my roof until 11:30 pm in the pouring rain making sure the tarps were secure so we didn't have any leaks.

Roof-Rite has done full roofs for me on two houses; this time, they did a small roof on an out building. The high quality of the work, the excellent and fair pricing, did not change with the size of the project. Each received Roof-Rite's full professional attention. I think a true test of a company is not just their initial work, but their follow-up. We thought we had a leak in the roof, but it turned out to be the old skylight. They were over quickly to remove the skylight, frame over the hole and roof it. All fixed and ready for winter.

I had 10 roof vents replaced on my home following a leak with one of them. Roof Rite was quick to respond with options, advice and a reasonable estimate. Roof Rite replaced the plastic vents that came with the home with metal vents and did a thorough review of the roof and fixed problems with the caulking around other vents. I felt the price was fair and reasonable for the work. Henry Copier was very helpful and Jed, the installer, did a great job, both on the roof with the work and by communicating well on the other issues that needed attention. This was the second time Roof Rite helped me with roofing issues. I recommend this company without hesitation.

Honest estimate on my roof's condition. Rather than make a bigger sale, Mr. Copier told me that my roof still had some life in it, and he simply replaced a few shingles. Will use this company again when I need more work done.

Henry was great!! We had some tree limbs fall on our house and put a hole through the roof. He came out quickly and did the job to repair it. He even charged me less then quoted once he saw it so that was GREAT!!

RoofRite did a tear off and replacement of our roof last week. Everyone was super friendly and really professional. Henry's bid was detailed, easy to read, and fairly priced. Mike, the Installation Manager, came out and met with us to kick off our project. Marcos was our crew foreman and was on-site for the entire job. They did a beautiful job, ahead of schedule, with no hiccups, and left our property cleaner than when they arrived! Everyone from initial bid to project completion was always willing to quickly answer our questions as they came up. We were never made to feel that we were "slowing them down" by asking questions. Plus, we always got solid answers! Here's my advice: don't bother shopping two or three bids for your roofing project. Just go straight to Roof Rite. You will receive excellent service, great workmanship, and a fair price.

Great company to get a roof redone with. Timely bid, fair pricing, lots of choices, great crew, great skill, protected roof when rain was forecast, protected flowerbeds, cleaned up very well after, reinstalled gutters properly and boss checked up on work regularly. I will need to do my office building roof next year and these guys are getting the job.

Henry was fabulous! Coming home from vacation to a flooded basement from a leaking roof, Henry was quick to find the main source of the problem. He presented me with several options and explained the pros and cons to each. He did a fantastic job and was able to get it done in a very reasonable amount of time and what I believed to be a very fair price. I needed a bid to re-roof my 95-year old mother's home. Henry was there within a few days. He checked things out and gave us a very competitive bid. When sudden heart problems hit my mom and everything else had to be put on hold, Henry was very accommodating when the schedule for the re-roofing had to be pushed back. Roof Rite was fast and efficient and did an incredible job on our roof. The workers were great to work with and cleaned everything up nicely. Our roof was installed in June of 2015 and has not given us a moment of worry. It was in pretty bad shape and we had leaks, but they replaced the wood under the shingles on a good portion of our roof over the gables and we've not had a moments worry. We also have a sky light that had leaked for years that no roofers could ever fix it. Roof Rite fixed it perfectly. We would highly recommend them again and again.
