Quality Mitsubishi

I purchased a new vehicle from Quality Mitsubishi today. This vehicle had no tariff war tariff on it and was a fair deal. Salesperson Matt Gingue was super pleasant to deal with. I was not pushed into add-ons, and it was simple to accept those which I wanted (undercoating with lifetime warranty) or reject items I was not interested in (additional years of coverage past the standard Mitsubishi coverage). The purchase process (lookover, test drive on local roads as well as highway, paperwork, signatures, copies, owners manual in hand) took an expected amount of time. Two years free maintenance (oil and filter changes, tire rotation) are a nice perk. Was not charged any state tax because I live in New Hampshire. Would have otherwise had to go to Keene, NH for my nearest NH dealership. I prefer to spend and support businesses locally. This was a pleasant, non-stressful buying experience.

Is August/early September of 24 I purchased a Outlander Sport with 28K miles. For the first 5 months it was okay. I never liked the car but I figured I was stuck with it. It had no power. Than about a month ago it started to stink of exhaust fumes. It was very bad and even opening the windows did not help. The fumes came in the window as well. I was coughing and sick to my stomach at times. Also, about this same time when I stepped on the gas it made a loud noise. It was like in the old days when you needed to replace your muffler. I bring it in to have it checked. It had a warranty on it for 100k miles, so I figured they would take care of it. They deny anything is wrong with it. But, if I paid about $400 they would try something that might work, but it might not. The noise when stepping on the gass was just something that had to do with the transmission, so they said. Nothing to worry about! Maybe if a man brought it in they would have taken care of it. This place is the worst service and attitude i have ever had the misfortune I sold it going to. this morning I traded it in and purchased a 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid. 150k or 10 years which included the hybrid battery too. I paid 6k more than the outlander sport. Worth every penny. Never again. Don't waste your time and money at this place. this place has 3 stars on Yelp. Left a review there too.
You had the chance and you tried to pull the wool over my eyes. I traded it in for a better car with better service. This is what was wrong with my mitsubishi. I should have brought a man with me.

If your Mitsubishi car fills up with exhaust fumes when accelerating, the most likely culprit is an exhaust leak somewhere in the system, which allows exhaust gases to escape and enter the cabin, particularly noticeable during acceleration due to increased engine pressure; other potential causes include a faulty Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF), a bad oxygen sensor, or a damaged head gasket depending on the severity of the issue.

Recently purchased a 2-3 year old used car here. Fair price, great purchasing experience, and very friendly staff. The service department was very quick and responsive when I brought it back a few weeks later with Winter tires that needed the pressure sensors programmed. They did the work gratis!

I bought an Outlander at Quality in St. Johnsbury in 2016. I loved the car and the buying experience so much that I returned to buy a 2024 Outlander. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. They were not pushy and allowed me to ask questions, ponder my options, and sit on my decision for a week before I returned to purchase. It was an amazing experience buying from real people who understand the size of making a decision to buy a new car. The process was quick and easy. The staff have kind and friendly, checking up on us to make sure everything was going well. I would recommend Quality Mitsubishi to anyone looking for a new or used car!

I drove away with a brand new 2024 pearly white Eclipse Cross on Friday!! It was my very first NEW car. Alex Martin was my salesman and I would recommend him to ANYONE looking to purchase a vehicle! He not only made sure I got the best deals but also went out of his way to make sure I wasn’t paying too much on car insurance!! The General Manager Michael Martin helped me during a difficult time of loss almost 3 years ago. Recently he and his son Alex helped with the purchase of my new car. They treated me like family, their kindness, caring was genuine. I will always be grateful for the team who helped with all that was needed. The service department has taken care of our vehicles for years. We are also so grateful for them helping us.

We had a great experience at the Quality Mitsubishi in StJ. Matt and all the other staff were superb. Good people and not pushy, which I appreciate. We went to see what an Outlander was like, not expecting much, but when we test drove the one that Matt brought us, it was perfect and such comfortable seats. Both my wife and I were impressed. They treated us really well and made the ensuing paperwork easy for us. The outlander is surprisingly good - the more I drive it the more I like it. Our sales man Matt was excellent!!!! He was very knowledgeable, patient as I came back 3 days in a row
and tried out 3 car's and finally decided on one.

My best recommendation: DO NOT GO HERE. On Thursday November 31st in the late afternoon my car had an electrical issue and left me in Barre. I called to have my car towed to Quality Mitsubishi Service as I had most recently been there for inspection in October. They were aware that my car was there. I waited for a call all day Friday and none came so I called. I said I was calling to confirm they knew my car was there and to discuss next steps. I have spoken to all three men in service during this debacle. Manager, Nick Pilotte, Derrick Garand and Dave Coulter. I was told quite rudely that they got the message but they were too busy and would try to fit it in. I waited another work day, now Monday, received no call and called again. I was looking for answers or just simply a time line and was again met with rudeness. This continued for two weeks. No calls from them and my car never moved. When I said I was frustrated with the lack of communication, he replied angrily, “what, do you need me to call you every day?” No, but just once would have been fine. No phone call in two weeks. I asked him “what would you do if you were me? Should I rent a car?” No answer to that, he could not have cared less. Also of note no one there even asked me if I had any transportation during the winter weather. I went ahead and rented a vehicle for a week. I called back out of courtesy to let him know I had a car for a week and Derrick assured me they would surely get it done by then. As you probably surmised, that did not happen. Which brings us to this week. I called as the week was up in my rental, again no answer or estimate of time but they would try to get to it this week. Try? It is unreasonable to assume that In the week I had the rental they were unable to even schedule something. At two weeks I should not still be waiting to be “fit in”.
I had my vehicle towed from there to less than a mile away and they turned it around in 24 hours.
Very long story short, they have lost my business, my son’s business with his two vehicles, and any one else I can remind of my experience there. Their leader appears to be Nick. A manager that offered no apologies for their failures and seemed amused at my struggle. My car wouldn’t start so they would have had to push it in the bay and it appears no one wanted to do that.
I would never recommend QUALITY Mitsubishi for anything. “Quality “ is a definite misnomer.

Brought our car in to get it running again and more work was done to the car than it was worth to buy a new one. All done without permission. When we asked them to talk about it or work something out we were berated and gaslit then told that the manager would call. No one did. We lost a lot of time and thousands of dollars due to this autoshop. If you want services from them get written communication and shop around for prices first.

The service department has always been great and I've been coming here for years. They're friendly, thoroughly explain everything that needs to be done before doing it, and make things right if something goes wrong. Highly recommend!

After a miserable experience at the Mitsubishi dealership in Nashua NH, this place was a breathe of fresh air! They got me right in, fixed the problem for a fraction of the cost and were professional and kind! I will definitely be going back for any future service needed! Much appreciated!

Our Car Shopping experience was EXCELLENT! Matt was very attentive, knowledgeable and fun to work with. I mentioned I needed the CT Strong plate removed from our tradein and he not only removed it, He taped the corner that was peeling and put the plate on the new car. He was wonderful to work with.
