I spoke with Jim Suderland and he set me up with one of his inspector/estimaters to be at my house and give me information on my house for reroofing. Out came Doug Soehner and he commenced to doing the inspection. After he was finished, he explained every facit of his inspection and provided me with enough information I needed to make a decision on reroofing my home and storage shed. I ultimately went with Quality Discount Roofing after doing research on all the roofing companies here in North Florida. So far, I am completely satisfied with all aspects of my decision, and will submit another review when the job is completed. So far, great company and folks to deal with. They finished my roof ahead of schedule, and I can't compliment Danny (Superintendent), Mel, and Mario and his crew, enough for their diligence and professionalism when installing my roof in 100F+ temperatures. A Great company to work with, starting with Dustin who came out to give me an estimate on my siding replacement. Very knowledgeable, not pushy at all when discussing options. Very understanding of my limited budget. Pointed out all the spots he suspected needed wood repair, all of which I already knew about. No surprises. Next was Scott the job supervisor, very friendly, very knowledgeable, kept in touch once my siding order was placed. The installer team, headed by Alex , understood how to work as a team. They worked very quickly to uncover and find all the damage wood rot. They did a great job replacing beams, putting up new board in all the damaged areas, then getting the new siding up. My house looks BRAND NEW !

5/20 and 5/21/2025 Quality Discount Roofing replaced my roof. It was an excellent experience beginning with Erica my initial contact, Doug my estimator, Steven the sales manager, Jimmy the owner and, last but not least Danny my project manager. Everyone was personable, polite, eager to please, and accommodating. I interfaced with each individual multiple times and I was sincerely encouraged to call if I needed anything. Erica was an excellent phone contact as the "face" of the company. Steven and Jimmy even got involved in the sales end which was unusual and also unexpected. I was very impressed with the entire team. Danny was outstanding with service and explanations of the process, follow up, etc. Danny completed a final inspection with photos personally. Doug came in person again after his initial visit to assist with financing. I interviewed 4 companies and Doug was the only estimator offering that complete service experience. The roofing technicians were incredible. I truly have never seen that extreme work ethic from a crew of workers before. They worked like Energizer bunnies. Had Quality Roofing replace the roofs on 10 buildings at Fairways Condominiums in Palm Coast recently. The crew was very professional and worked diligently to get the job done in a timely manner. I had my roof redone due to some issues we were noticing since we purchased our home. Ana did an amazing job and gave us step-by-step what to expect so we had no surprises and knew what was going to happen. The dumpster was dropped off the day before they were here first thing in the morning and were able to complete it in a single day and did a great job cleaning up since I have children and animals. This company DOES NOT HONOR it’s warranty. I am 4 years into a 10 year warranty and we experienced a roof leak. When my husband called to schedule an appointment he was told ‘we do not service your area any longer’. He told them about the warranty and they still replied with the same response ‘we do not service your area any longer’. We spent $3,318 getting this issue fixed and it was due to a hole in the plywood that wasn’t replaced when the new roof was installed. See attached pictures. This should have been a repair covered under warranty. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Great experience with prior roof installation and a most recent repair. Scott G.and team did a great job. They were very efficient, professional, responsive to our needs/questions and they were also very pleasant. If needed, we would definitely use them again!

I recently purchased my house this past spring. Last week I noticed discoloration on my kitchen ceiling and went into the attic and noticed the roof was leaking (water visible dripping from the sheathing). I knew the roof was recently replaced and therefore pulled up the permit and saw Quality Discount Roofing and Construction replaced the roof in December of 2017. Thinking they would stand behind their workmanship I called them however they informed me that since I was not the person who they did the work for it is not covered.

My roof that is less than six years old already needs to be repaired and the company that installed it apparently does not have the integrity to stand behind their product and/or workmanship. I will look to other companies who will to do the repair.

We replaced the vinyl/brick on our home with James Hardie Board. The finishing project is beautiful. Maycee worked diligently to ensure the job was completed as promised. From start to finish she was present to make sure we were satisfied. Rosa’s crew that removed the brick and Alex’s crew that installed the Hardie board were meticulous and quick. I am still amazed at how flawless the Hardie Board looks! Chris and Jake were quick to respond with any concerns we may have had. Thank you QDRC!

Quality Discount Roofing & Construction installed new windows, metal roof, siding, shutters, new front door and screen storm door, and gutters. Becky and Scott were so friendly and professional and so were all of the crew members that came to work on each project. I definitely would recommend them to anyone needing any home repairs!

Not going to take anything away from the guys that actually did the roof. I am a month and a half in and have not had any problems as of late.
However, I feel like the salesman/manager. Tony is very rude and due to his lack of customer service I Would not recommend him or trust him to work with my friends or family in the future.

I have used Quality Discount Roofing a few years back on an old rental property and found them to be reliable and reasonably priced. I recently used them for a larger home of mine and I am extremely happy with the result.

First, I would like to recognize Becky Zimmarman - my Estimator/advisor. Becky was especially helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty at every stage.

Becky was the initial and primary person that I interacted with. She offered to meet with my insurance adjuster to help with the claim and that was a tremendous help. She also helped me with questions and guidance multiple times. She offered more than once to come to my home at a convenient time for me in order to pick up forms/payment, etc… which saved me time. Ultimately, she took ownership of my overall satisfaction from start to finish, which is clearly beyond her direct responsibility.

Becky's customer service and dedication deserves recognition, if not bonus. :)

Additionally, the project manager - Danny was onsite and kept me informed. He sent me photos and helped me to make the best decisions whenever questions came up.

The job was done right the first time. We received the certificate and insurance claim was fully approved. I could not have asked for more.

The company was great and Tony was awesome to work with as well. My roof was in really bad shape and they did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them.

Can't attest to the quality of their work but their professionalism is terrible. Made an appointment for a quote. They confirmed by text. "Maycee" then confirmed 24 hours before the appointment. Took the afternoon off for said appointment only to have maycee call and say "something came up" and she can't make it. Really? 30 minutes before and then you actually want me to take more time off from work and reschedule with your company?

I had four estimates before I decided on a roofing company. QDR was my fourth estimate. Becki was my sales person. She gave a Great Presentation. They matched one of my offers, coming in one cent lower(lol) She responded to all my texts/emails and answered any questions. The selection color of shingles to choose from is great. There were a few cookies I hadn’t even thought of. I will have to come back with a photo. Shout out to the guys who replaced the roof! I would definitely recommend them.. They did an awesome job.

Did a great job on the roof that I was having replaced. I currently live 3 hours away and they were willing to wait until I was off from work to come to town to pay them. They are great to work with and I'll be hiring them again for my next roof job!

After some discussion about the warranty they sent their troubleshooter Scott Gessert out to access and repair the leak. Leak was minor and intermittent so we'll have to wait for results. At this time I am quite confident that the leak is repaired. Scott is a great ambassador for QDR. He listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. Operative wording in the conversation was "Do the right thing". Scott gets a five. QDR gets a four. They need to state their warranty limitations more clearly. Thanks Scott

Becky and Danny were kind, direct and professional. I selected this company after getting proposals from several others. They followed through with all appointments, questions, and requests. They did an excellent job cleaning up and they finished the job very quickly. I would use them again and highly recommend reaching out to the company if you are interested in getting a new roof.

An enjoyable experience from start to finish. The salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable and offered advice without pressure. The crew that delivered the shingles were very professional. The installation crew worked their butts off and completed the job in one day. And the dump trailer was picked up the very next day.
Contrast that with two different neighbors’ experience with other roofing companies whose jobs dragged on for days with a so called project manager that spent most of his time soliciting nearby houses.
I highly recommend Quality Discount Roofing. Their only weakness is they promise a referral reward, but it’s like waiting for the Cubs to win a World Series.

After receiving a reply from the owner, I need to set the record straight. The referred customer paid in full four or five months prior to the referral check arriving in the mail. Implying that it was my friend and neighbor's fault and not the fault of your office staff will not earn your company any new referrals.

Quality Discount Roofing did my whole roof as one of my sky lights was leaking. They told me that they would help me get it covered by insurance and didn’t AT ALL. They purchased the wrong skylight (which they tried to charge me for) and the wrong color of skylight which now sits over an inch from any drywall. It looks atrocious. They also put a dumpster on my driveway that cracked and destroyed my driveway and didn’t do anything about it. At the end of it all it over over 2,000 more than what they quoted me in the beginning. I have called to get help with these matters with no response. Worst customer service I have ever received stay clear of this business. They don’t care about their customers.

We called QDR out to replace our almost 25 year old roof. The sales rep, Tony was awesome to work with. Very funny and insightful during the estimation. We got on the schedule pretty quickly, even with all the rain we had during that time.
We did have a couple of miscommunications about dumpster placement and mitigation reports, but our Rep did an excellent job making sure we were happy. I'd absolutely work with that Rep again.

Currently we're dealing with Tony, the sales Manager. He wasn't at our house 10 minutes into his inspection, and my wife and I agreed this was the company for us.
It's rare to find someone as knowledgeable and passionate about their job as this man is. He understood this is our first dance with home owners insurance. He walked us through the process. Told us what to expect and what to look out for. "Be your own advocate!" He stressed that to us. So we called and called and called. And low and behold. The insurance company stepped right up, handled everything quickly and without dispute
last evening he was here at our house, he changed his schedule to accommodate mine. My days start at 3 am. He understood and made room for us and walked us through the entire wish list for repairs. He even took the time to check a few other things we would like to have done in the future.
Hands down 100% if you need work. Make this call.

I used them to replace my wooden siding with Hardie Board. The work crew began the job promptly and worked diligently until the project was complete. Their measurements were very precise and they left the workspace clean. I was very happy with the finished product.

We’ve used QDRC for two projects. First a roof, then a hardi siding redesign and installation. Dustin was our sales rep for both projects and was responsive and handled any charges promptly. Danny was the field manager for the roof and was attentive and very nice to work with. Scott was our manager for the siding project. It was not an easy project (i made several changes and needed my hand held a bit) but Scott always communicated well, had good design ideas, and made sure the work was to code. Everyone we’ve worked with at QDRC was professional and responsive. The field crew did a good job with attention to detail and kept the jobsite clean. We felt as though we were in very good hands. I had Quality Discount Roofing and Construction do a major exterior remodeling and roofing project on my house. Everything on the outside was changed, replaced, modified and repainted. This was a big project. I was changing to the complete look of my house.
Having been in commercial construction for almost 40 years, I am a little fusser than the average homeowner. I can say that they did an excellent job for start to finish.
My salesman Dustin was very professional, his drawing of what my house would look like really help me. I had thought of phasing the project, but seeing how good it would look, I did the whole project at one time.
Their contract was fair and clear. I also thought that the pricing was fair and competitive . Advantage was they were doing it all, siding, reflashing, repairs, painting and roofing. There were no gaps in responsibility or scope.
Chis, the field manager/superintendent also did a great job. Communicated with me, kept me up to date on the schedule and the progress. Made sure the subcontractors kept the project clean and organized. I was living at the house during the project.
The project only took a little over two months. I would have guessed it would have been longer. Went very smoothly.
