Quality decking of Utah is amazing! After noticing my deck was beginning to pull away from the house I had called several decking companies who either didn't bother to pick up the phone, or didn't have time to help. I wasn't in Utah county but I figured I'd give them a try. Cristopher picked up right away and said he could help me out (live in Herriman). I'm glad he could because he ended up fixing my deck within a few days of the initial call and at a fraction of the cost of replacing! He even offered to put a portion of the repair cost towards a new deck when the time comes. Shortly after he finished one of the other decking companies finally got back to me telling me I had to immediately replace it as no repairs could be done. I'm very glad Quality Decking of Utah was the first one out. They will definitely be my first call when it's time to replace.

One great thing about Cristopher is that he is so responsive. I had multiple questions and he answered all of them. He even built a custom gate for me to throw my trash from the deck to the garbage can. Great work...and customized to my requirements.

These guys did a great job installing a metal railing around our deck and rebuilt a staircase up to it. (It’s a second story deck over our garage) the team was fast, courteous of our space and cleaned up after themselves.

We had a great experience with Quality Decking of Utah from beginning to end. They were very willing to discuss various options and trade-offs as we considered the project. Cristopher is very knowledgeable and helped me feel confident about the options we discussed. We ended up, selecting some significant maintenance rather than replacing the entire deck. The work included replacing facia boards on the outside of both upper and lower decks, and repairing some significant water damage on the lower level of the deck. They were very willing to accommodate this and were sensitive to our concerns about keeping the costs within budget. They were able to schedule us and complete the work within a couple of weeks, and the quality of the work looks excellent. I can recommend Quality Decking of Utah without any reservations. We plan to have them do additional work on our two large decks next year.

I needed a small job done quickly in my garage because we didn’t want to be without stairs for very long and they totally pulled through for me! I can’t believe how beautiful they turned out! I highly recommend them to everyone! I am so happy with the results!

Christopher was very responsive to my need for a deck repair. He was also very friendly, polite and professional. His background is as an industrial engineer, and his work reflected that - very thorough and meticulous. The end product was about as good as I could have expected. For reference, the bill was $1500, which was consistent with his estimate, for 8-9 man-hours (he did the work himself). It’s unfortunately uncommon to find a contractor with Christopher’s attributes who does what they say they’ll do, when they say they’ll do it, but Christopher is a notable and welcome exception to that low bar. He seems to really care about customer satisfaction and its connection to his business, which is really great. I would use him again and definitely recommend him.

I'm writing to give a glowing review of the deck install and purchase that I recently had done by Quality Decking of Utah. I was looking for a company that could install a new deck on my backyard, and I was very impressed with Quality Decking from the start.

These guys were awesome. They contacted me ahead of time to give me a timeframe for arrival and completion. They even came to finish up the project on Thanksgiving morning so they could hit their deadline and give our family access to our backyard safely! 10 out of 10 recommend and will use them again on another project!

His team did a great job making sure the old posts were removed carefully from the stone paved patio with no damage to the patio. Chris and his team created a beautiful deck for us at our cabin. Access to our cabin wasn’t easy and Chris was willing to work where many other contractors wouldn’t. The deck he built was exactly what we were looking for. It was fairly complex with steep terrain (~16ft off the ground) with a separate platform built for a recessed hot tub. They did such a great job I would recommend to anyone. Only minor issue I had was Chris was a bit inflexible during negotiating changes - he also required 60% payment up front which is a bit higher than other contractors. I never had any concern with him doing the work and they showed up everyday for nearly two weeks to demo my old deck and complete my new deck. Very honest and hard working.
