In late March, early April 2025, one of our wind/rain storms damaged a couple roof shingles. Resulting in a very small leak, minimal damage, but directly above a fire/smoke alarm. Which triggered the “evacuate now” warning and all sirens in the home.

Being new to the area, we did not really know any roofers yet. A family member recommended Mr. Cowell’s QE Roofing. Mr. Cowell was out to inspect within a day. His roofer returned within 48 hours to make the repair and a few preventative improvements; even beating the next storm. QE Roofing was responsive, fairly priced and solved the leak problem.

Our Tennessee sun, weather and flora sure can stain a shingle roof. So, a few weeks later, QE Roofing treated the algae stains on the roof. After the treatment, our 10+ year old roof is as bright and clean as new. Besides looking good, we anticipate our roof lasting longer now. This treatment based on visuals alone would seem to be indispensable for someone placing their home up for sale. Certainly, based on these two experiences, we’ll rely on QE Roofing for our future roofing needs.

He further handled an additional claim with the insurance company for replacement of all of our gutters, when he received no remuneration as they were sold by another company. QE Roofing did an excellent job working with our insurance provider to replace our hail damaged roof. They completed the work in only 1 day with quality materials. The mess of the old roof was cleaned up nicely and we haven’t found any nails in our car tires yet!

I am Facility Manager at First Baptist Church, Columbia Tennessee. QE Roofing recently completed removing all our shingled roofing and replaced it with standing seam metal. They were safety conscious and would stand down during drop off and pick up at our weekday school. They worked around our schedule over Thanksgiving and Christmas season and still completed the job on time. Austin kept us updated on all aspects of the job from start to finish. This review is in regard to the encounter I had with the professional driving the completely wrapped pick-up truck with the company’s name and phone number this morning on I-65. I truly believe that if you are a part of a company/organization and are going to display that representation you should uphold a standard no matter the circumstance. The driver of the vehicle with license plate '034 H1 36' decided that it was too much of a task for him to sit behind a semi-truck while coming off the on ramp and merged from the on ramp to the far left lane instead of waiting the extra 6-8 seconds to allow myself and the other car behind me to pass causing me to abruptly slam on my brakes going from 75-55 in the blink of an eye. There was no acknowledgment of his action despite me honking my horn and flashing my high beams as I saw him coming over. He simply sped off because whatever he was getting to was far more important than the lives of others on the road. Huge thumbs down on your driving and even more so for how you represented yourself and QE Roofing this morning.

QE Roofing did a timely, high-quality job repairing my roof from storm damage. They are very professional and excel at communication. However, their expertise goes beyond simply doing a good job. They explain frankly and honestly the tradeoffs between different types of repairs. There is no pressure whatsoever to do work that would make them more money. I would hire them for everything if they did other work besides roofing. They handle billing online (if you want that) and don't require you mail them a check or pay in advance. In this day and age, it is difficult to find companies like this.

Austin worked with us to get our claim processed and approved with our insurance company..Our insurance had rejected our claim at first but Austin provided them with enough proof for them to finally approve a complete replacement .
