We had an outstanding experience with Pyramid on a large residential basement asbestos abatement project. If you're in Juneau and you need asbestos abatement (at least, for a large job), I think these are your folks.
In terms of our experience, Quaid and team responded very quickly to our initial outreach to inspect our property, provided a short-term solution to increase the safety of our situation, and was able to get onsite with a crew very quickly. They made it incredibly easy for us to clean and move items out of our basement, providing a vacuum and being hugely helpful with storage (really above-and-beyond). They operated quickly and professionally, removing our asbestos with great care taken to ensure their and our safety and getting professional testing to ensure our basement was truly asbestos-free.
Large asbestos abatements like ours are, as one might expect, very very expensive jobs (just in case you were wondering!), but my family felt like we fully got what we paid for and were left feeling grateful to Quaid and Pyramid for a job done well, with care, professionally, and quickly. I also should give Quaid and team extra praise for their strong communication and willingness to go the extra mile to help us - we consistently felt "in the loop" on expectations, timeline, progress, etc, and his team went fully "above and beyond" on several occasions without extra charge (like helping us move items back into our basement). In my experience, we've never spent this much to get rid of something, and/but I somehow feel very good about our decision in this case, and I think that's in large part thanks to Pyramid Abatement & Remodel's overall excellence. Thank you to Quaid and team at Pyramid!
First of all, a real person answered the phone when I called for help. Always a plus! Quaid was very knowledgeable and helpful during our conversation, also very professional. An appointment was scheduled and the crew arrived promptly. Remediation was completed in about 30 minutes and our problem was resolved.
