Many thanks to Brett and Aaron with Purofirst. They were professional and so helpful. They removed all of the carpet in our basement after the flooding. We had a good experience with this company. They put down a spray that killed off mildew and mold and they left big fans running for 3 days. Thank you!

I’m so thankful for them getting to my house so quick after our basement flooded! Wouldn’t wish this on anyone but Doug and Mark and Jill were so nice and helpful! Appreciate the entire crews too they were hardworking and nice and so helpful!

Well it’s a fine day when the water is leaking from your ceiling. It is a problem that has never ceased even after Purofirst said they fixed it . Their hired repair company came back 4 times and supposedly fixed it.

last time I called their rep and he told me it would take something totally different to repair it than what they did. So they would keep my almost 5,000 bucks and I would have to pay them more or hire someone else. Do not fall victim to this company.

The team that showed up to our home made it a lot more bearable for us to process the damage and did everything possible to allow us to keep our possessions.
Summer, Amanda, and Amber, who we saw mostly, kept us inform and involved and we found that very comforting.
Over the days you learn to appreciate just what needs to be done; it's amazing.
I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we have suffered, but if that time ever comes, you should give Purofirst a call.

Travis and Ron were absolutely perfect! We had a pipe burst and they was here within 24 hours to start drying things out for us and they walked us through everything they did and were extremely helpful and we are every impressed and will recommend them to everyone in the future.

I will start by saying they were prompt and had availability which lead me to using their services for a crawl space clean out.

When providing the service the two men who were in the crawl space broke ductwork in my crawlspace and did not properly repair it before leaving. Had I not heard them arguing about fixing it I would have never known it was them that did it as they never once mentioned it before leaving that day.

It was 3-4 days later when I began to hear scurrying inside my HVAC. I began to try and find an entry point only to enter my crawl space to find my ductwork laying on the ground.

I contacted Doug that same night, he apologized and had people out to fix the ductwork the next morning but failed to address the scurrying rodents in the HVAC. After further communication he put me in contact with David Jones. After a few days Doug and one of the gentlemen who damaged the ductwork came out to lay traps, look at damage, etc.

As of today the rodent has not been trapped. It has been stuck on the glue trap and escaped. I contacted to see if there was anything else they could do at which point I was told by Doug that they set traps out of courtesy not obligation and they are not accepting accountability for the rodents.

10/10 we had a emergency with a water leak with mold and damage to the drywall in the ceiling of our basement. And Phillip a supervisor came out himself the next day to view the problem personally and create a plan of action. He had a crew ready to go ASAP at my confirmation by the next day. They came out to our house and two very professional and kind employees dealt with the problem. The service was exceptional and the work was exemplary. I have recommended them to multiple friends and family. It’s what happened after that truly makes Purofirst different. Phillip fought with me against my insurance company and in the end after an initial rejection the work they did had coverage. Phillip and his company went above and beyond the normal customer service experience and myself and my family could not be more grateful.

Kyle helped us with a roof replacement and was a great guy to work. Always answered his phone and showed up when he said he would. Will definitely be doing business with him again when the time calls.

I am very pleased with the work Purofirst did for me on the siding on my house and a wall that they put in my downstairs bathroom. The workers were very professional and very patient with me and all of my demands. Philip was always available to answer any questions and address any concerns I had as the job was being done. Very professional and personable crews. All aspects were managed in a highly competent manner. All questions were answered and I was never left in the dark wondering what was coming next

Purofirst charged me $502.81 to place a fan and a dehumidifier which I didn’t need, the roofer that was supposed to come and inspect the roof did not showed up on their scheduled day. Also purofirst did not bothered to follow up with me. It’s a shame that the insurance companies let these contractors take advantage of their members and do nothing about it. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone.

This company is amazing and full of professionals. Everyone from Philip King, the manager for my repairs, to the receptionist were considerate, understanding, and laser focused on getting my house repaired and back to normal.

In May 2024, we had an 85' Sycamore fell on the house during a severe storm. Crushed deck, large holes in the kitchen wall and ceiling, multiple broken rafters, trashed roof and gutters..... it just goes on and on. We chose Purofirst to handle repairing the damage and we're so glad we did. Our assigned Purofirst contractor, David Jones, has been on the spot for us through the entire process, working with our insurance, giving us advice, juggling multiple repair crews and always responding quickly when we needed anything or had questions. David is just a good, solid guy. We would advise anyone who finds themselves in this situation to reach out to Purofirst for help.

Purofirst team was at the complex after the fire early morning. They spoke to me and quickly assessed what needs to be done. I spoke to insurance co. And away they went. First off Stacy Johnson was who i worked with and was excellent. Then when i had my apartment available the team of Summer, Ron, Amber and Jeff delivered everything and i said my bed frame is hard to put together, Summer said well we will be doing that. I was shocked. They put clothes back in dresser and when some bolts must of fell out, Summer goes to lowes and got what was needed. I tipped them because what a team. Please share this to them. I thanked them a bunch of times but they need a pat on the back. I will recommend your company for sure. Thank you Purofirst.

First and foremost I cannot say enough good things about purofirst and the people that work for this company. My home in Milton Kentucky was severely damaged by a tornado and my KFB agent recommended them to me and the day I called David Jones with purofirst he drove to my home immediately. Within a few days before the insurance agent even came to my house the entire roof was replaced and when I say entire roof I mean you look up and it's blue sky. They took a rook on a 4k square foot house completely off down to nothing but walls and had it back on in 2 days!..! Throughout the whole process there has been 50 plus people in and out if my home and they have not stolen or damaged anything and they always leave it cleaner than it was when they started the work for the day. Basically the entire second story of my home along with front covered porch and entire electrical in the house has been repaired and like new in just over a month and it was a month of fighting the weather trying to get it all done but they always showed up when they could to get the work done.... This horrible experience with a tornado destroying my home has turned into the best experience I have ever had with a contractor that provides the most professional and quality work in my life leaving me with a 100 year old home that is built back better than it ever was! Also a huge shout out to there electrician James Eden who went above and beyond! If anyone out there has a severe catastrophe like a tornado hitting you home or you just need a few windows replaced or some new lights put in this is the company I hope you call because you will not find better quality service, craftsmanship, honesty and professionalism than you will with Purofirst!..!

A tenant had been gone for a week, returned Derby Eve and the toilet had been overflowing while he was gone, flooding the house. I called my State Farm agent and she recommended Purofirst. While waiting for a return call, I reached out to two personal contacts with other companies, they both declined. A fourth company returned my call two days later. Puro First was there first thing the next day and got to work. Thank you for your help in mitigating further damage--and for promptly returning phone calls! Doug & Justin for the win!

I worked with Philip and a whole crew, Joe, George, Walter, and others.

My house has really had a lot of trouble in the last decade with water damage. I finally got tired of having to tear down drywall and then having to fix pinhole leaks and bad wood. I decided to have my whole house replumbed.

When they did the replumbing, they all but destroyed my bathroom and utility room, and impacted the kitchen as well.

I wondered if I was ever going to be able to take a shower again or how they were going to put my house back together.

Well, my plumber recommended this place and I was very very happy. I had numerous question, several requests, and at times, I requested that someone re-do something because of a mistake.

I never got push-back from anyone, from Philip or the contractor workers. Everyone was very polite and understanding and treated my house like it was theirs.

I had a lot of expectations and I had numerous questions and took up a lot of time from the team, however, I was beyond happy.

I highly recommend this place if you have had major work done and need a restoration service or had a natural disaster.

I have to say that Kyle at Purofirst did an excellent job coordinating a fairly large job. Timeline and updates were thoroughly communicated and the job was professionally done. I initially contacted someone else about this job. That won't happen again. Next time they will be my first call! It's even in the name.

There driving skills or non-existent they drive down the Greene Snyder at 60 mph in the left hand lane blocking the flow of traffic in those box trucks especially the two guys traveling north on the Snyder around the 64 exit about 630 in the morning they should be fired immediately they do this wire often causing traffic to back up almost daily!!!!

Had a basement septic drain fail. Purofirst restored my house in record time. They were on time, responsive and thorough. Can’t recommend them enough.

Reached out to them 3-4 days ago… they have been more interested in contacting my insurance, agent, the adjuster and everyone else instead of making it to my place and dealing with me and even seeing what they were in for. My adjuster told me to call someone immediately that was on Saturday. It’s now Thursday and they have not made it to me yet. Totally NO urgency whatsoever!!!

We had a water pipe break in our condo …Purofirst showed up within 24 hours to start the process of water removal and drying our condo…Our rep was Joe Yates and he was the best! He was in constant communication with us and completed the remodel to 100% of our satisfaction..All of his contractors and final clean up team were awesome..You can trust Purofirst and Joe to complete you project on time and they exceeded our expectations ! My insurance company recommended we used them. My basement would have been better off and was in worse shape than when it was flooded. You will pay thousands for the use of their fans. I would never use them or recommended them again. I no longer have the insurance company that recommended them either.

I had a salesperson come to the house at the end of July. It is three months later, and I still don't have an estimate. I tried talking to the salesperson, texting him, and sent him an email so he could just reply to it with the estimate. I talked to the office multiple times. I reached out through Facebook. I also talked to the supervisor two times. I never got the estimate. I still don't know why they could not give me one.

Cole and Russell did a EXCELLENT job when they came to my facility. Floors were scrubbed and cleaned. Space was sanitized. Definitely recommend!

We got to be the lucky first customer to ever have a 1-gal liquid detergent spill, which that 24 hours before we found it. It soaked into hardwood floor and somewhat on the subfloor below. Wet spot on the bathroom on first floor.
Puro First was fast, polite and professional, made a plan what to do, even though this was a first for them. They were careful with debris to not make a mess. We highly recommend them for any sort of emergency cleanup!

Nick and Nelson were kind and considerate during our disaster recovery. They respected our space and provided the information needed so we knew what to expect through the process. They were very quick to respond to our call - within two hours! Highly recommend.

My family moved cross country to Louisville, KY, several months ago and settled into our new house. A few weeks ago we had a water leak that started on the top floor of the house, ran down through the middle floor, and into the lower level. I cringed just thinking about the extent of work that would be needed to repair the damage. Our insurance agent recommended we call Purofirst. We called and Austin, one of the Loss Claim Specialists, immediately responded. Austin was amazing. He came to our house, assessed the damage, and explained step-by-step what we could expect. First came water mitigation followed by wall and ceiling repair and then carpet replacement. I was amazed at the quality of professionalism and craftsmanship by all three of these teams. The workers were respectful, detailed, and efficient. Austin regularly checked on the progress of the repairs. The outcome exceeded any expectations we might have had about the repairs and restoration. Once the work was finished, Austin came back to our house to do the final inspection and insure we were satisfied. He was wonderful. I will add that my husband and I are both retired from military service so we have had our share of experience with transcontinental moves, overseas moves, and damage claims. The service we received from Austin as the Loss Claim Specialist and the Purofirst repair teams was the best we have ever had. On a more personal note, my 95 year-old mother has dementia and I care for her in our home. All the workers were very respectful of her while they worked. I highly recommend Purofirst to anyone in need of repairs and restoration.

In July my ceiling in the living room came down and insulation was everywhere! My insurance company had Purofirst come out and Austin and Stacy were so awesome!! Made a claim through home owners and they gave me three different companies to call to service the damages. THANK GOD I called Purofirst because they were ON IT! We had a slow leaking toilet for quite some time. We discovered the leak after visible damage on the lower floor. After the plumber verified, we called PuroFirst. Before they started doing any work, they covered all our property with plastic to protect it. They explained everything they were going to do. This included checking for any unseen water damage and the possibility of mold. They did exactly what they said. Removed a lot of sheet rock from the ceiling and replaced it. They matched the ceiling texture exactly, painted the entire ceiling, and cleaned up after themselves. Working with Art, Danny & his team - very polite and equally professional. This is the third time (Murphy's Law) I've used Purofirst. Although I hope it's the last... If not, it will definitely be the fourth!

In April we experienced a fire in our garage. We were lucky the damage was contained to the garage but I was overwhelmed at the thought of clean up and restoration. Our insurance agent reached out to Shane from Purofirst the morning after the fire and he was there within a few hours. He immediately put me at ease, walking me through the steps towards restoration. Its been 5 weeks since our fire and the garage is completely restored. Shane has been so incredibly helpful and responsive throughout this process. I hope I never experience another fire (or water or mold issues) but if I do I will always reach out to Purofirst. Geddy and Cole responded to my home when my refrigerator line caused water damage to my kitchen. Geddy was very professional and I'd recommend them to anyone!

Our water heater went out and flooded the basement. Geddy & Cole arrived quickly, found every spot where water pooled, and began the process of restoring our basement back to normal. It was a huge relief to have them take care of our home with the same care that they likely take in their own homes. They made a very stressful situation a little bit better.
