I contacted Darryl after a tree took out my front porch and my home needed significant repairs. Darryl was a fantastic advocate for me while working with the insurance company, and he made a stressful event turn into a positive experience. He's really great about talking through various options and pricings and giving sound advice. He even helped me think through some unrelated DIY home renovations without trying to sell me on anything. Most notably, Darryl sticks by his clients and his work. In the process of selling my home several years after working with Darryl, the inspection revealed a small item that needed remediation. Darryl took responsibility and was quick to make sure the repair was completed in a timely manner at no charge for me. He takes his reputation and his relationship with his customers seriously and will go out of his way to show that. Thanks for the good work Darryl!

Darryl is AMAZING! He is highly competent , ethical, and enjoyable to work with. We had massive water damage after a dishwasher connector burst during the Portland storms of January 2024. The water sat for a time period so there was MASSIVE damage over two floors (e.g., flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, ceilings, etc.). Darryl has previously worked for insurance companies so he not only knows construction, he knows how to navigate insurance companies' bureaucratic hoops. When insurance said no, Darryl would go to bat for us, explaining why the repair was needed, the true cost of the repair, getting quotes, etc. He would not take no for an answer from the insurance company if he knew we were entitled to the payment. And now the house is restored and the work is BEAUTIFUL. Darryl and PSH Restoration, Inc. are the best, most honest, highly skilled contractors and restoration experts I've come across in Portland, or anywhere else. I highly recommend working with Darryl.
