From the early days when we first met Rodney, Scott and Smitty, we felt certain we had the best team to handle the restoration and renovation of our home. In short, the PRS team’s focus on excellence and ownership of this project truly eliminated the normal stress that one would associate with living through a project like this.

We say this because our project was much like exploratory surgery. We didn’t know the severity of the damage until the “patient”, in this case our home, was opened up. We had all expected the water damage over the last four-plus years would not be severe, but we soon discovered there was so much water damage that the entire back wall of our home had to be rebuilt.

Along the way, the PRS team took a very wholistic approach to our home, looking for other areas where we could have potential water intrusion issues down the road. This included doing a roof and chimney inspection, which revealed additional faulty workmanship associated with the initial construction of our home.

In the end, the project expanded to include rebuilding and refacing the entire back wall of our home, rebuilding the chimney, installing a new roof (including building three crickets to divert water away from the chimney and the back wall of our home), replacing one of our great room windows and our kitchen door that opens onto the rear patio, installing gutters in such a way as to protect the back wall of our home, and the interior repairs and painting associated with the water intrusion in our master bedroom, great room and kitchen.

We said earlier that the PRS team’s focus on excellence truly reduced the normal stress associated with a project like ours. We never lost any sleep during this project, even when there were days the news just kept getting worse. Our confidence in the PRS team was never shaken and their focus on excellence gave us great comfort in knowing that when the project was complete we would have a safe a secure home.

After 40+ years of wear and tear, our original cedar siding had reached a point where it could no longer be patched and painted. We made the decision to have it removed and replaced with vynil.

Great experience with PRS and John Smithson. The crew arrived bright and early each day and finished the roof installation in just 2 days. Snotty checked in near daily and provided very helpful updates on what to expect; he answered all of my questions and made the whole process much less stressful.
