I contracted Dave to build us some steps coming off our deck after removing our above ground pool in our backyard which was connected to our deck. After asking multiple contractors about our idea about building a four angle stairway, Dave was the only one, that said he would figure it out, and he sure did. The steps turned out beautiful and like other comments that are on this page, he picks up after each days work, he’s very pleasant to talk and deal with, and most of all very reliable, I would recommend Dave for any idea you may have, and he’ll work with you all the way through completion.

Quality bathroom work at a reasonable price - I used ProWork Builders/Dave to remodel 2 of my bathrooms at the same time. After getting estimates from several other companies who would only give a grand total estimate for the work, Dave’s ability to provide an estimate that included an allowance for materials was refreshing…I appreciated the transparency of this process! This allowed me to see what the labor cost, where I could save money by making less expensive choices, or how my cost would increase if I purchased a few higher-end materials.

Both bathrooms were complete remodels, including cutting out a small section of a wall to accommodate a shelf on the tub wall, new shower/floor tile, drywall, paint, new toilets/sinks/tub/fixtures, and custom cabinets & mirrors. Special note – the custom cabinets/mirrors were less expensive than I expected and they look very nice! Dave and his team were all very nice to work with, polite, on-time, and they worked very clean, even during the demolition process. Quality of workmanship is fantastic…tile cuts/spacing, grout, fixture installation.

Dave kept me involved with even the smallest decisions (trim color, tile edging, etc.) which made me feel like he wanted me to love every part of the project when it was done. He provided guidance when I got stuck on places to look for tile & other materials. (Candice at The Tile Shop in Maple Grove is amazing, btw!) He was also responsive to questions/issues and addressed every concern. He was even patient when we got a couple of odd looking side-splashes that needed to be returned/reordered a few times to ensure I was happy with how well they matched the counters.

In the end, the price quoted at the beginning never changed (except where I made changes to the materials) and it was less expensive than any of the other quotes I had gotten from larger companies. Great experience and I would certainly use Dave and his team again!

Dave is a great guy, very personable. He was always on time, which was a real plus. No sitting around for him, never left for a lunch break even. He estimated almost perfect timing how long the job would take. Also cleaned up before he left each time. He paid attention to details. LOVE, LOVE my new bathroom.
