Had my roof and house re-sided about a year ago. They did an OK job on the roof. Had to come back and do a couple of things that I pointed out again I’m not a roofer, but it didn’t look right. The siding on the other hand was a nightmare. Subcontractor came in, put up the siding. The whole house is all scratched up J corner drip edge done incorrectly argued with the owner and foreman about how the quality of work was done. Again, I’ve sided house in the past, but since this was an insurance job, I figured they can do it. A year later trying to have them fix things has been very poor. Now I have siding coming off and water issues. No return call will not return emails. I wouldn’t have this company work on my doghouse let alone another persons house in my area.

I had Aspen Exterior replace my roof due to hail damage. The experience has been a nightmare. Their communication is horrible internally and externally. There is work that is unfinished and I have been having issues with the work that was completed.

I have had multiple people from their team reach out to inquire about paying the invoice, even though the work has not been completed. They continue to request I go on my roof and inspect and then send them pictures. I am NOT A PROFESSIONAL to know what to take pictures of and it is not my job.

Avoid this company at all costs. There are way better options to help you.

Worked with Daniel to help secure a roofing discount for a mutual client's home insurance. He was professional, kind and had an answer/signed form to us in a very timely manner. The client was also happy with their install! Definitely recommend.

The process was just as described. The work crew got in and out the same day. We had a complete tear off and reroof done in 8 hours. The crew was thorough with clean up. I strongly recommend Aspen Exteriors for their quality work!

Very unresponsive to emails and phone calls often took 3 days or more for our project manager to reply to us, when we were almost at the time limit for when the insurence would cut off the job I had to email the project manager multiple times and call him several times to even get the job started, once it was started I was given 3 days notice of the start day giving me very little time to get things ready, the project manager forgot about us and the job became a rush job, after which I had to have crews out several more times to replace several peices of siding and trim (trim peices angles not in line with the house, outside corner edges not nailed in requiring them to remove large amount of siding to fix, windows and doors not properly caulked, the roof left uncaulked for almost 9 months) due to poor workmen ship.

From start to finish, Aspen Exteriors was great to work with! We worked with Eric Fjellman who helped us through the entire process. He communicated clearly every step of the way, keeping us informed and answering all of our questions promptly. The team was incredibly efficient, completing the job on time with no issues. The quality of their work is top notch and our home looks better than ever. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled & customer-focused company, I highly recommend them!

Their miscommunication from one to another, their cheap roofing crew, cheap material gutter screen was collapsed and accused home owner damaged it. They only done great work for their own people but not me as foreigner customer to them. I feel bad my gutter screen was done by aspen exterior and left some unhappy memory behind and too lazy to fix their own problem instead accused home owner.

We experienced the worst consultation ever. The guy was in our house and just kept asking for our insurance information and all we wanted was a quote for the roof. After he couldn’t provide that because I wouldn’t provide my insurance information he became extremely mad and pounded on our dining room table. I asked him to leave numerous times and almost called the cops. I’m sure not all the sales people are like him but he ruined it for us for sure. North central Iowa

I do not recommend this company..I had my roof replaced. And after 2 years I started to notice roof lifting because of doing it in the cold weather. We had insurance out and said the roof is a workmanship issue because shingles are even nailed wrong ..They tryed to blame it on weather and saying we had 17 wind and hail storms and my insurance company said there was no claims in my neighborhood..And once your roof is completely done u will get a letter saying they stand behind workmanship That's a lie ...they will blame weather to get out of it ..

Aspen did amazing work! All the way from start to finish, it was a smooth operation. Scott was amazing with getting the damage claim all sorted out, explained how everything would go, and then helped me pick out shingle colors and drip edge etc. Ryan the project manager arranged the crew and set everything up, and the crew knocked it out in one day. My roof looks absolutely amazing. Easy 5 stars from me. Don't hesitate to go with Aspen for your roofing needs.

Aspen Exteriors completed my roof early April 2024. They did an exceptional job!

I was contacted by Duane J. in the fall about getting a new roof. I was nervous about working with an out-of-state company but Duane put my fears to rest. When the weather didn't cooperate, the project was put on hold until spring no questions asked. When spring came around, Aspen contacted me in mid-March and I had my new roof installed by early April. Again I was nervous with working with an out-of-state company but Duane answered his phone or called me immediately back whenever I called. I truly appreciated the extra customer service I was given. Ben the foreman that was onsite answered my questions and again put my fears to rest.

The invoicing also went extremely well. There was one correction that needed to be made and it was done within 24 hours and I had my new invoice. I just sent the last insurance payment and again great communications with Aspen Exteriors.

Hired Aspen Exterior to replace my roof and siding. In the end they claimed additional expenses thousands over their quote. Never finished the job much less added attic vents, left trash everywhere, and damaged our driveway.

Talked to project manager Jeff who said he would take care of everything only to be treated rudely by Ava saying that was not correct. Worst service.

It took months for them to remove the dumpster and extra supplies I’m sure we were not credited for.

This company doesn’t deserve one star.

My wife and I just had our roof replaced and we couldn’t be happier with the service, communication, and support from the very start.

Our sales rep, James, was friendly and instrumental in helping us work through the process with our insurance company.

Our Project Manager, Sandra, kept us informed and was prompt in communicating regarding material and dumpster delivery and removal as well as installation.

And last but not least, the crew was Outstanding! They were respectful, hard working, and meticulous when it came to setting up to protect our landscaping and thorough when cleaning up nails and debris.

A big thank you to the Aspen team and congratulations on a job well done!

I would like to thank James B. as working with him was the easiest process in getting our roof replaced. James was prompt with all his communications and when he said would follow-up with something he actually did. He explained the entire process in detail and everything he stated ended being exactly as the process ended up playing out. We had a downspout that got loose, which James ended up fixing even though it wasn’t part of his job as our sales guy.

James is definitely a great asset for Aspen Exteriors and was such a huge contrast with some of the other shady sales people I’ve dealt with in the past.

Duane took care of everything. Kept us in the loop all the way. First time we ever used our homeowners insurance and he made it seamless. I would highly recommend Aspen! Very pleased!

We had a frustrating experience with this company from the beginning. Don was the sales person who assured us over and over again that Aspen would handle EVERYTHING including dealing with our insurance company. Well, $30,000 plus dollars later, we have a new roof but somewhere the roofers left an area open, squirrels got in, chewed through our upper floor wiring and destroyed it. Aspen refuses to address or acknowledge this. Besides our roof damage, we had gutter and chimney damage. Again, Don the fast-talker assured us that would be addressed after the roof was complete. Nope, Aspen now claims they have nothing to do with that. After being paid out over $ 30,000 from our insurance Aspen states our insurance adjuster made a mistake and wrote a $1,000 deductible when actually it was a 5,000 deductible. Even though we have a signed contract that clearly states our max out-of-pocket is only $1,000. We got so sick and tired of the harassing emails that we finally just paid the remaining balance so we can be done with this scam of a company. Oh, I should also mention, the day the roofers dropped off their dumpster prior to starting our project, the dumpster was crawling with maggots from rotting garbage inside. After multiple phone calls we finally got a response from some higher-up at Aspen and the trailer was removed, but gross.
We do not recommend Aspen. One star is way too generous.
Update: after we paid the bill and wrote this review. We received a call from Aspen trying to EDUCATE us on our insurance and question why we would give them 1 star! We literally had to HANG UP on them because they would not quit. Unbelievable!
Maybe what you can learn from us is to uphold a signed contract that states we owe $1000 out of pocket and don’t have your sales person tell people repeatedly that Aspen handles everything including all dealings with the insurance company, because that is not the truth. As far as the squirrel situation. Obviously the squirrels didn’t take note the day after you finished our project and decide to enter the roof. As fall was coming that is when we noticed the problem and as soon as our electrical was destroyed we notified you via email but you refused to acknowledge it. You are not changing our minds, you scammed us.

We had Apen install gutters on 19 garages in an town home association in Jordan. Nick Liesch was our estimator. Nick was very thorough and professional. Took the time to understand what we needed and provided very good feedback and kept us informed about the timing of the project. Also gave us options to save on the project. Did not push what we did not need.

Aspen was the easiest company that I have ever dealt with.
Very nice people and I got answers to my questions immediately.
They worked with my insurance company and I didn’t have to make the usual endless telephone calls to navigate the complicated issues that come with having to try to understand all the
insurance jumble that comes with it.
I would hire them again without a second thought.

The experience with Aspen was very easy and hassle free. There was a hail storm in the town that caused damage to the roof.

They filed the claim with the insurance and and negotiated with them.

Aspen Exteriors did a great job on replacing my roof and everything looks great, especially how they spray painted all the exhaust pipes black and now everything blends together and looks great. I will happily be recommending them to anyone else in the future.

This company is very professional. They sent a guy out (Bob Beauto) to evaluate the hail damage and he brought shingle and drip edge color samples for me to look at. I could tell he really knew his product and service he was selling. He even suggested reusing the gutter guards and downspouts that only had minor cosmetic damage then apply that savings towards our insurance deductible. He was very transparent about any potential hidden costs, but there were none in the end. They handled nearly everything with the insurance company directly and got the work permit. All I had to do was display it before the work crew arrived. They provided adequate notice when the crew would arrive. They got there at 2PM and had most of the work done by 8PM. They came back and finished early the next day. They laid out tarps to collect the debris and roofing nails from the tear off. Only found a couple handful of missed nails in my yard after. Pretty good in my opinion. Not two buckets like an amateur would leave. The quality of the products they use seem very good. A step up from the stuff they sell at the big box stores. They used a wide drip edge and heavy duty architectural shingle which they gave me as a free upgrade over the 3 tab shingle the insurance company would only cover. I am very pleased overall with the service provided. Highly recommend.

Aspen redid my roof after a hail store. They were here to advocate on my behalf with my insurance company when the adjuster came out to make sure I got the new roof I needed. The crew that did my roof was professional, and my god they were fast. They got a late start in the morning due to rain, and still managed to knock it out in one day. The quality of product and installation was 10/10. The attention to detail was impressive they even touched up my HVAC exhaust vent that my insurance didn’t pay to replace so it looked brand new. Would highly recommend

Eric Fjellman was absolutely amazing! He explained everything well and worked fantastically with my insurance company. He checked in frequently to make sure the process was moving along smoothly. I highly reccomend contacting him when you need your roof replaced. He's incredibly knowledgeable and prompt getting back to you. Definitely would use again if needed.

My experience with Aspen Exteriors was amazing. From the moment they knocked on my door and the day they finished installing my roof, they were extremely professional. Their staff was available throughout the entire process. They met with my adjuster and engaged with my insurance company with industry knowledge. My overall experience was pleasant from start to finish. We had a couple minor bumps along the way but Aspen Exteriors made everything right. I would recommend them to my friends and family. Aspen Exteriors did a great job of walking us through the insurance process of getting our roof and gutters replaced because of hail damage. Even with the construction supply problems and a lot of damaged roofs in our neighborhood they were able to get our roof done before winter. It looks great! It was such a great experience working with Aspen exteriors. I was so impressed with their customer service especially! I received emails and phone calls from several people when the process was going to begin. They let me know what was going to happen and gave me information every time on who I could contact with questions. The people I talked with on the phone were so nice. I honestly ended up calling the person who came over to my house first to Check my roof damage. I had his number in my phone, so it was easier for me to call him. I wanted to point this out because this young man, Connor Ulness, answered every text question or call that I sent him, within minutes! (never once said it wasn’t his job or referred me to someone else ) He was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Aspen replaced my roof. We had another company show up and start tearing off our roof discovered they were at the wrong house and left our roof with no shingles on part of it.
I called and Aspen dropped off our shingles the next day and our roof was replaced the following day.
We were going to have our roof replaced with Aspen Exteriors at a later date but they stepped up and got us taken care of much sooner due to an error by another roofing company.
I highly recommend using Aspen Exteriors our salesman Jack and project manager Justin were awesome and went 1000% above to make sure we were taken care of when another company messed up.

This is the 2nd time we have hired Aspen Exteriors, Inc to inspect and install our roof from 2 different storms. Both experiences with their representatives have been clear, efficient and quick. They helped us with the insurance claim and did extra work to help us get the claim approved. I will use them in the future.

Aspen Exteriors did a fantastic job with our roof. From the very beginning they were here working with us and our insurance company to make sure that our roof would be replaced due to the hail damage. They kept us up to date on what was happening. When our shingles were on backorder they replaced them with a better shingle they could get. When it came time to replace the shingles the gentlemen who came to replace them did a great job. They took the time to move our patio furniture and made sure there were no nails or trash leftover in our yard. From start to finish Aspen did a fantastic job. Thanks Aspen!

Great service from inspection to install. My roof had hail damage and was able to get all covered through insurance. The installers did a great job, they were in and out within 2 days and did a great job cleaning up. I also had great customer service over the phone, I got a confirmation on the design style, when Dumpster was getting dropped off, when installers would be here, and a call after installation. Trent from Aspen Exteriors helped inspect my roof after a hail storm. He helped me through the claim process with my insurance and met with the adjuster. Once my claim was approved Aspen scheduled my roof install. Everything went smoothly and I am happy with the new roof.

Tge I stallation team was great. Very respectful of our property. They cleaned up when they were done which was much appreciated. The inspection team and the office staff were very professional and responded in a timely manner to all our questions. I recommend Aspen Exteriors for roof work.

Aspen Exterior helped fight for my entire roof to be replaced. They stuck with me for 6 months when progressive would not validate the need to replace the entire roof. Even after multiple adjustors we at my residence. They neglected to inspect the entire roof. They kept me informed on all aspects of the process. Insurance claim, delivery of materials, expected job completion.

Working with Aspen Exteriors was seamless. Their staff, from beginning to end, was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and did excellent followup throughout the project. Best of all, my new roof was done on time and looks absolutely beautiful, adding value to my home. Aspen was great from the inspection after getting storm damage all the way through the whole process of replacing our roof and installing gutters. They explained the process and kept us updated with each of the steps. They did a great job installing the new roof and gutters. Even the city inspector commented on how good of a job was done.

The crew showed up early the first day worked hard all day and finished up by noon the second day. Clean up was excellent, I saw 1 nail in the grass acouple days later and that was all they missed.

He was super honest and straightforward (which I loved) his company took care of EVERYTHING. The adjuster had a question, Conner, the insurance had x,y,or z to discuss. Connor. His crew completed our roof in 1 day. Also since I live in a townhome and my neighbors had done their roof the previous year Connor feathered in the 2 roofs ( above requirements but totally professional). And his crew left my yard cleaner that the neighbors roofers did. 100% no problems no leaks no stress. Hire them!

I meet with Eric F. the first day dealing with Aspen Exteriors. This was a smooth process from the start to the finish of the job. Job was finished in about 10 hours, and clean up was great with no issues there. Definitely would use again.
