We went through Prosser for our front window that needed to be replaced due to it cracking. They were great to work with and had wonderful communication. There was a one day delay from the windows and they called right away with several different time slots they could put us in. The work was quick and looks great. My name is Donald Horton, I had a deck repair project that I made the mistake of telling Stephanie Prosser that I was on a deadline and that I was having trouble even getting someone that would do the work. She jerked my chain for about a week delaying even getting me an estimate and pushing up against my deadline wall. She thought that I had no other choice but to accept her bloated offer. She wanted to charge me 32 hrs. labor for this very simple job. I was contacted the same day that I turned down Stephanie's offer, by Wooden Gate Construction. Emmanuel came out the same day and looked it over and gave me an estimate the same day and they came out the next day and completed the project. Emmanuel at Wooden Gate Construction Co. and one other employee did the job in 4 hrs. for a total of 8 man hrs., and did it for over $1000 cheaper than what Prosser Construction wanted. In my opinion Stephanie Prosser at Prosser Construction is dishonest and she will over charge you if given a chance. I recommend that you don't give them your business, but reach out to Wooden Gate Construction with your needs, you won't be disappointed. Stephanie Prosser you should be ashamed of your self. Even after I told her that I would be tuning down her offer and that I thought her offer was way bloated out, she just made excuses. Oh you don't understand about doing business in the state if Washington. $60 for disposal when there wasn't anything to dispose of that I couldn't have fit in my own garbage can. She also wanted $66 for bits and saw blades. Emmanuel at Wooden Gate Construction laughed at her estimate and said she is flat out trying to over charge you because she knew I was in a hurry to get it done. To be honest if you had a zero star category I would give them a zero!

We recently moved to North Tacoma from Seattle. We had downsized our living space and our new home needed some upgrades. We tried a few different companies, as the projects were many, but the company that stood out was Prosser Construction. One challenging project was to install an exhaust fan/hood over a stove. Because of the space this was not an easy project. However, Prosser has a “Can Do” attitude and they found a way to make it happen. Their work was the highest quality, they were very professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up after their work. Unlike other companies, they returned emails and phone calls. We highly recommend Prosser.

We've had a handful of items handled by Prosser over the last year and a half. The overall experience has been good, and we'll continue to use them in the future.

The initial project was a replacement of two decks (a small set of steps and a full size deck), replacing a sliding glass door with a french door, and a full repaint of the house. There were some hiccups around getting permits which led to the project taking a long time to get started. Eventually, it was believed the mixup was cleared up, but some communication breakdown with the town of Lakewood left us with our existing deck demolished but no permission to build a new deck. This was resolved after approximately 2 weeks, and an additional fee to get engineering work required by the town of Lakewood. It's unclear how much of this issue was on Prosser or on Lakewood; I personally think it's just one of those problems that can happen with all construction products. Once the permit issues were resolved, the work was rapidly completed and looks great!

The other items we've had Prosser take care of have been more along the lines of handyman fixes rather than full projects. In one of these cases, it was a bit of an urgent concern and they reacted swiftly, sent the carpenter, Josh, out, and he helped calm me down about the issue, then suggested and executed a nice cheap solution. There have been a couple other small things handled that were less urgent, and I've been pleased.

The place where Prosser excels compared to many other construction companies is in communication; they always respond rapidly to email inquiries with sufficient detail to know what's going on. Many other contractors I've tried to work with in the past had little/no communication.

I needed an estimate and I needed it fast and they delivered. They worked hard to make sure any time they could squeeze me in they got me in and it completely benefited my clients. Will definitely be be using them more in the future.

We were able to work with Prosser Construction, a women-veteran owned business, during our recent kitchen remodel. Stephanie took great care communicating with us during the process. She took time to understand what we wanted done. She devised and coordinated the schedule for the subcontractors and kept us updated on all details concerning dates and times. She checked with us on our satisfaction with the work that was done and made sure that it met our expectations. This required a great deal of her time, as we are very detail-oriented people. She did this in a calm and cheerful manner and educated us about the process along the way. Stephanie and her team are dedicated to customer satisfaction and service. We were happy to have Prosser Construction working on our remodeling job, helping us to get the beautiful kitchen we wanted.

We used Prosser construction to renovate our entire house before we placed it on the market. We did this from FLORIDA! They were amazing to work with and did an exceptional job. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed!
