After damage to our garage, Dan Backlund and Proficient Construction really stepped up and quickly started work and got the garage closed up until they could get a plan in place. They worked with me and insurance to complete the project, improving the quality and look of our garage and house. Thanks Dan and crew!

From the first sales quote to the end of the project the Proficient staff were on point with the answers to all of my questions. I recently had Proficient Construction replace my deck floor and railing with maintenance free materials. I was very impressed with Ben’s professionalism and knowledge during my sales consult. His bid was very thorough, and he quickly answered any questions that I had. Jordon did an excellent job on the construction end. You could tell he took great pride in his work, and he always left the site clean at the end of the workday. He did an excellent job. I love my deck and have received many compliments on it! The only frustration I experienced was a lack of communication as to the start date, which totally got messed up due to a bad stretch of weather. A quick text here or there stating revised plans would have been very helpful. However, even with that, I would not hesitate to hire them again for a future project and would highly recommend them to others!

We had a small deck added on to our house and was very happy to have proficient do it as many companies don’t do small decks. We had our roof done after hail and are very pleased with the communication our representative with us, the sub contractors for gutters and solar panels, and the insurance company. The roofing itself also appears to be done well. It was a big job and took quite a long time, but they took the time to give us the best products and service. I would recommend without hesitation.

We had lots of questions along the way, but Ann Ruud was amazing to work with. She came on-site several times to make sure things were going as planned. As a guy that retired from a long career in commercial construction, I can say that I am extremely satisfied with the great job by Proficient. I had them install an elevated 20x30 deck and a matching concrete patio below. The deck was a Moisture Shield product that I have used previously and really like. The concrete patio was done by Dale Pexa, their subcontractor, who did an outstanding job.

The attention to detail from everyone involved was exceptional. I took multiple bids on this work and found that Proficient was extremely competitive in their pricing. Their proposal was very professional and clearly articulated all aspects of the bid. I would happily use Proficient on my next project and can recommend them to anyone needing a top quality deck.

She quickly got us a few different quotes based on the various options we had for our skylights and was very patient with us while we were deciding what skylights we wanted to go with and trying to figure out our payment options. She never rushed us or made us feel pressured to make a quick decision.

After the work was done Ann came to the house to do a walk-through to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We are very happy with our new roof and skylights! I highly recommend Ann and Proficient Construction!

After a storm and our house getting pummeled with significant hail damage, she helped us navigate the chaos of the insurance process and got us a new roof installed months before we were hoping. I heard about Proficient Construction through my son's 3rd grade soccer team. My house is older—built sometime in the late 1960s and the roof was 24 years old. Proficient did the roof project at out apartment building complex. As a board member, I was very impressed with Proficient because they took the time and helped educate us in the insurance claim process since most of us were not familiar with it. They attended a few board meetings and went thru photos from their drones and inspections and different products. Navigating the claims and payment process was much easier with their knowledge. Once we got the claim info from insurance, I was scheduled a week out to get my roof fixed. It all happened so fast!

Proficient Construction helped make our builder new construction home feel like our forever house. Boe and his team built us a large (24 x 15), composite deck. The team was professional, clean, fast and the deck completely met our expectations. Boe has excellent communication with his clients and we always knew what to expect next / when. From what we have heard from others, communication can be a significant pain-point in the process and that is certainly not the case when working with Proficient Construction. All the ducklings have since hatched and we've spotted them in the pond at the back of our property..
