Cannot say enough great things about Priority 1 and their crew. We were out of town when we had a water leak resulting in damage. The crew came out within a couple of hours and started mitigation, even while we were across the country. They answered our questions, and dried everything out quickly preventing any additional damage. They were thorough, patient, and communicative throughout the process and respectful of our home and contents. Michael and his crew are just wonderful and though I hope to never need their services again , I would use them again.

We can't say enough good things about Priority One Restoration! When we discovered water damage in our half-finished basement—our kids' playroom and family washroom—we were completely overwhelmed. To make things even more stressful, we have a child with respiratory issues, so getting it handled quickly and correctly was critical.

Despite us being way out in the hilltowns, Priority One responded within 24 hours and immediately got to work. Mike was incredibly kind, taking the time to listen to our concerns, explain the entire process, and reassure us every step of the way. His knowledge and professionalism, combined with genuine care, made a scary situation feel manageable.

Our house was involved in a multi vehicle crash which left our dining room significantly damaged and open to the elements on a very cold January night. Mike and a coworker from Priority 1 were here by noon on the next day and we were patched up and warm by nightfall. Just awesome. They have continued to assist with every step in the process. So glad to have them on our side.

I’m beyond thankful for Priority 1 and their roll in the mitigation process of my home. From every phone call, email, text message, and home visit they were tentative, informative, transparent, thorough, and most importantly honest. They made every step as effective and efficient as possible, including negotiations with the insurance adjuster to make sure my home received the necessary mitigation procedures. From day one they made detailed documentation of every step including in total loss content providing myself and the adjuster with a detailed list with reasoning and replacement details. Priority 1 truly cares about their customers and their quality of service. Without their educated staff keeping me well informed and guiding me through this already stressful process the insurance adjuster and insurance company would have rapidly processed my claim leaving me short on necessary funds to perform necessary mitigation and total loss items. The crew at Priority 1 did not let that happen and made sure my son and I were well taken care of through every step.

This is the worst company out there. They are like ambulance chasers. Our house was completely on fire, my brother had to be transferred to Boston because of his burns, I'm sitting on my neighbor's doorstep, there's police, fire dept. And ambulance and I'm in shock and a rep from this company rushed up to me and tries to get my business. Unfortunately I did hire them. Huge mistake. They worked foralmost solely with subcontractors who left the place a mess along with tools and other trash, the worst was nail gun strips on our property that took at least two days to clean. We never knew when work was to be done, who was coming. Consequently we found many things 'missing' that we knew we had and where they were. The owner is interested in gaining as much business that he can to make money. It took them 2 1/2 years for them to finish. I even had to call the Town Manager to get the permits going because it was already 6 months that they said they couldn't get them. After I called the permits were issued within 1/2 hour. They do have a small working staff but things mostly were outsourced to people we did not know, did not know when they would show up BUT worst of all we were not notified and these people had access to our home without our knowledge.

Took a couple of days to cool off before writing a review here, because I know the overwhelming majority of reviews are positive for this company. I tend to keep my mouth shut and keep it moving when I receive poor services from companies. However, the lack of professionalism and terrible communication from this company is leading to this review strictly out of principle. Part 1 of a major job on my home was completed in the summer of 2024 and part 2 for this job was supposed to have already been completed. I received the runaround from this company for 7 months while being fed excuse after excuse or absolutely ZERO responses to my emails. I received word from them this week that they will NOT be completing the work for part 2 and will need to look for a new contractor. Meanwhile, I have heavily considered selling my home but have not been able to do so with a massive hole in my ceiling that has been there for 7 months, while being told that the delay was NORMAL!! As someone who does not complain I am absolutely dumbfounded by the lack of professionalism from Priority 1 and I will be telling friends and families to avoid them at all costs if they have major jobs. I do believe this company was reputable at one time, but something led to a significant decline. (Shout out to Mike who was a good employee and transparent for part 1, unfortunately he was removed as my contact person after part 1 was completed). DO NOT trust this company.

Some hidden mold was found in our attic during an inspection for some insulation. We happened to call Priority 1 and are very happy we did. They made the process smooth and easy. The communication and attention to detail were second to none. There is no question in our mind that the mold was mitigated properly. The crew that came in was polite and friendly and worked diligently. We particularly enjoyed working with project manager Mike Streit, who stopped by multiple times, solved issues as they arose and answered any questions promptly and effectively. We have other ongoing projects in our home and only wish Mike could be the manager for those as well. Don’t hesitate to call Priority 1.

Priority 1’s very experienced owner and staffs’ meticulous and detail oriented approach to handling the resolution of the mold issue I had was first class from beginning to end.

After discovering a burst pipe had flooded our finished basement started calling several companies and priority One was the only one that answered the phone at 7:00 at night. They had a team to my house by 9:15 and worked till approximately 3:00 a.m. to get the job started. From there dealing with Caroline in the front office and Kyle with the Restoration Team things moved forward seamlessly. The workmanship was Top Notch and all the workers professional. I wholeheartedly recommend Priority One to anyone who wants to work with a great team from start to finish with your project.

I had an excellent experience with P1! My basement backed up with sewer water. The communication and delivery has been outstanding. They are professionals with experience in the industry. Highly reccomend this company.

As a local real estate investor and landlord Priority 1 is my go to for anything restoration. They are fast to respond, provide fantastic communication throughout the project, as well as all the contractors to put the mess back together. I don’t use anyone else for my properties.

We had a fire on our roof under a solar panel. “Priority One”was recommended to us by our insurance company. We cannot rave enough over the beautiful restoration of our roof and upstairs bedrooms!!! They cleaned everything, clothing and bedding, tended to the ceiling demolition, removed and replaced the insulation , painted every bit of the bedrooms, bathroom, hallway, got all the permits, cleaned the rugs . Just amazing !!! They cleaned and moved furniture. Provided the dumpsters They were all so friendly and professional. I truly can’t thank “Priority One” enough. They were paid in full by our homeowners insurance. Our upstairs looks beautiful as does the newly shingled roof!! They tended to everything!! Fantastic , efficient, professional, and friendly!!

One of my sump pumps in our finished basement stopped working back in April from a very wet winter season. We had called a "big name" company that was recommended to me. They came out the same day and gave us a quote, however, from that point on (before calling Priority 1) it was a complete disaster. After TWO AND A HALF WEEKS of water being in our basement, we fired them, called Priority 1, and Mike was out with a team to our house within an hour looking at the basement. He got our basement dry in 3 days and he worked directly with insurance for me, which was absolutely amazing! He continued to reach out almost daily to see how things were going with the basement and with insurance. They have been an absolute life saver and I would recommend them to anyone who is having any kind of emergency. Their communication is top notch! Thank you, Mike!

After the water heater at our office broke and caused massive flooding, we called another company who we knew was a 24/7 service. This other company quoted us an astronomical amount then left us hanging for days without any follow-up.

I called Priority 1, who I hadn't previously known was a 24/7 company (I would have absolutely called them first if I did!). Unlike most companies, I actually got a live person on the phone that wasn't an answering service! I explained the issues, and Caroline was so helpful and reassuring in connecting me with the service we needed, very quickly!

Michael Streit came out the same day and assessed the situation, providing a full scope of the work, in addition to setting up water restoration services immediately. He provided detailed reports/photos/updates at the end of each day that were emailed to me and all appropriate parties (insurance adjuster, etc). The transparency, details, and efficiency are qualities that often lack in this arena, but not with Priority 1. It was so very much appreciated amidst such a stressful time. Michael was truly knowledgeable in both the technical side of things, and very personable when it came to validating the stress and impact on our small business. He is highly professional and totally knows his stuff! Excellent communication and provided reassurance throughout.

I wish I would have known about this company the minute everything happened, but now that I do, I won't hesitate to utilize them again in the future and share my experiences with others so that you can save yourself some time and hassle! Call Priority 1 first - I cannot recommend them enough!

These guys are hands down the best around. We had a water heater let go which sparked an electrical fire and our warehouse was a disaster. They showed up 1 hour after calling and took care of the immediate damage and then came back later to start the work. This was a major issue for us and they were were very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend this crew.

After waking up to a failed sump pump resulting in a flooded finished basement, we needed to act quickly. I called Priority 1 and spoke with Caroline - the kindest person to me when I was so worried. She assured me that they would help and things would be OK and that Mike would be in touch soon. Mike called within the hour.

Mike and his team came out that Friday night - around 4:30/5:00 p.m. to start the mitigation work. Mike, Robbie, and Cassius - the amazing trio that will forever be in our good graces. They worked so diligently until the wee hours of the morning and kept us informed along the way. It was the best possible scenario for the situation: a total loss of our finished basement.

And it is important to mention that this was not just a transaction for Mike and the team. As soon as I talked with Caroline and Mike, we formed a positive relationship. I am grateful that Priority 1 not only puts the work as a priority, but also prioritizes establishing positive relationships with families who are perhaps at their highest stress levels. Mike, Robbie, Cassius, Caroline - You are beyond terrific. Although I won't miss the mess in the basement, I will sure miss you checking on us for many days! Thank you so very much!

We could not have been more satisfied with Priority One when we discovered mold in our large crawl space that housed Holiday decorations as well as Rubbermaid containers with Seasonal clothing etc.. Mike Streit was extremely timely in coming to assess the situation, giving us an estimate and sending his Technicians Jordan and Cassius to mitigate the mold issue. Although it was quite an extensive project it was done in such a manner that was unobtrusive and thorough. Everyone that we encountered with Priority One was very knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. We highly recommend Priority One for any Restoration Services.

After doing business with Mike, I would like to commend him and you for having such a good employee! He was so helpful! When I had such a stressing episode with a sewage backup, I would like to let you know what a good employee you have. And I feel so comfortable with them. That I feel that I could ask him anything. I run a residential program after a severe rainstorm many rooms in the house and basement were flooded. After calling other contracted vendors who were unavailable. We contacted priority 1. They promptly came right out and assisted with the water damage that occurred. Brian millet and his team were amazing. Brian reached out daily to communicate what was going on with process and gave an updated timeline for when we could move residents back home. 10/10 would recommend!

Priority 1 truly is a 24/7 Company. I called at an hour l thought l would get an answering service. I was wrong. l actually got a person. That person was Mike. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He came and explained everything that needed to be done. I believe he went over and above to get the job done. I highly recommend Priority 1.

Our hot water tank went and flooded our basement on New Years Eve and Priority’s team still came out on a holiday weekend (with a smile on their face!) and did a fantastic job cleaning, drying, and treating the whole space. Kyle to the rescue!

Upon opening my business , we found a bunch of soft spots on the walls after taking down a room plastered with wallpaper. Kyle was quick to respond and was out that same day to look at the problem. We ended up needing to replace 3 walls in and exterior due to water damage that was left untreated. Kyle was prompt and professional and got the job done in time so we had no delays with opening! The walls look beautiful and the exterior color matched flawlessly! I cannot recommend them enough for all your needs!

My wife and I faced a double challenge when a massive oak tree fell onto our house during the final winter storm of the season. Amidst the chaos, we engaged several contractors for assistance, ultimately finding Priority 1 Restorations, specifically Jeff Davenport, to be our choice. While our overall experience was positive, it's important to note a couple of challenges we encountered along the way.

Firstly, some of the subcontractors utilized by Priority 1 did not meet our expectations, resulting in issues that took longer than anticipated to resolve. This aspect of the process proved to be somewhat frustrating, as we had hoped for a smoother experience in this regard.

Secondly, while communication and follow-through with Priority 1 were generally good, there were instances where my wife and I felt the need to actively manage the situation more than we would have liked. There were moments of seamless communication and effective action, but there were also times when we felt a bit overwhelmed by the need to stay on top of things.

Despite these challenges, Jeff Davenport and his team ultimately delivered on their promise, and we are now back in our fully restored home. We are grateful for their efforts and appreciate the dedication they showed in rectifying issues and completing the project. It's clear that Priority 1 Restorations prioritizes customer satisfaction, and for that, we are thankful.

My finished basement flooded from s leak from the hot water tank. I called Priority 1 and Brian Millett called me back right away and said they would be right out. Brian showed up, looked at the damage and told me exactly what had the be done. He was very polite, professional, and he cared. They had the basement cleaned up in no time at all. The pod came the next day and the guys started packing up my basement. Brian stayed in touch with me the whole time and kept me up to date on everything. I was very pleased with the outcome and definitely would hire them in a heartbeat again if needed. My basement looks better than ever. Thank you Brian and Priority 1.

A month or so ago I found my self standing in my basement with water pouring in, and I was at a complete loss with what to do in the moment. Mike Streit of Priority one had remedied a problem at my previous home and I still had his contact saved. Even though I now lived further away he answered my ca right away, and came out, assessed what was going on, realized it wouldn’t be something covered by insurance but still offered suggestions, gave extremely helpful information and pointed me in the right direction instead of starting a job that he knew would land me with a big out of pocket expense. I can’t be more grateful for this, and will continue to call on priority one when in need.

We had a sewage back up at our rental property in the Liberty heights neighborhood in Springfield. We were referred to Priority 1 Restoration Services and we could not have been happier! They came out immediately, extracted all standing water, cleaned the contamination, dried the water, and sanitized the property. We would highly recommend them!

When it rains…it pours, and we are so thankful to Priority 1 Restoration for all of their hard work to fix our flooded basement. From the moment they picked up the phone, they were not only professional, but so helpful guiding me through this process. They had a crew at my house within hours of dialing their number. Mike and Eli were awesome! They explained the whole process and the steps they would take to mitigate the water damage. They worked way past their normal business hours to ensure wet drywall, insulation, baseboard was removed…so the drying process could begin. Each day they came back they moved fans around to ensure everything was ready for repairs. The repair crew - Ryan and Pat, we’re just as great! They worked long days to put up new drywall, sand, tape, paint!!! They were so kind and considerate of our house and our needs, in addition to going above and beyond to help us fix everything.
