Had an amazing experience with Evan and the Pride team. From beginning to end our needs were listened to and all of of concerns were addressed. The end product exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Evan and the team to friends and family.

Evan and crew were punctual, friendly, and did high-quality work installing a flagstone entry path at our home. I especially appreciated the extra care they took to clean up after the main job was done and being mindful of the existing planting areas. We have had work done before by other companies where crews trampled plants or dropped heavy loads onto them and left big messes after they were done working. Evan's crew replaced the gravel in our driveway where their skid steer had been moving around and also replaced dirt in flower beds along the path so it all had a really nice finished look. We look forward to hiring them again for more path and patio work in the next year.

Had the pleasure to work with Evan and the team from Pride Hardscapes in tandem on a landscape project in a very affluent Portland neighborhood. With VERY tight access and a complex landscape design layout, the PH team was always pleasant, communicative and professional. Their ability to think outside-the-box was refreshing and often thought about our needs before theirs when preparing for the pool. Since they had the heavy machinery onsite for the pool dig out... they also brought in the gravel base for our synthetic lawn! Evan gave us a great bid on building a composite deck, so we decided to go with Pride Hardscape Construction. Phil and Tyler showed up on a Monday and came back every day until the job was complete (about 6 days). Phil was the lead builder and was very quality oriented, as was Tyler. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would highly recommend them to anyone.

So impressed with these guys!!! They were able to squeeze us in last minute to build this retaining wall after we poured a new patio. I normally fret over a new project forever to make sure I have the vision/design just right, but these guys rolled in and took care of the whole thing in a matter of days! Evan and his team worked to protect our property by shoring up a collapsed wall and bank over a wet winter in Oregon. Then promptly began work on a new retaining wall in March 2021. Plans were adjusted to deal with the soft ground and what transpired was a lovely rock wall with a beautiful dry stream bed. They were always careful to make sure we knew what they were doing and how. They stayed within what they quoted and did superior work. We highly recommend this company for your landscape needs.

A Paver Driveway can be a Work of Art

Ever since I bought my house I have wanted a new driveway.
After years of focusing on the house a chance meeting with the owner of Pride Hardscape, whose enthusiasm and commitment to quality installation, convinced me to have him install permeable pavers. My only instruction was to use greys and charcoal pavers in his design. He came back with a large sketch and well the following pictures tell the story

Evan and his team went above and beyond! They built a beautiful retaining wall and rock feature pathway to help us control the drainage issues we have. Evan came back out after construction finished (rainy season started) to assess how the new pathway is managing the drainage and made corrections. His team is prompt and tidy. I would definitely recommend Pride Hardscapes!!

We recently had Pride complete a paver project that we had planned for a year. I had put together a drawing, but Evan is very good at conceptalizing and improved upon it greatly. His enthusiasm is infectious and his teamates were a joy to have on site! . As a retired contractor who took pride in thorough written contracts Evan did a great job of spelling out in detail what they planned to do. Pride clearly takes Pride in what they do!

These guys were short of amazing They took any difficult task with ease and even helped out with projects that I needed help with outside of their normal landscaping routine. For example they helped me build a boulder rock wall, install concrete pillars for a flag pole, installed a large custom steel gate, etc. Evan (Owner) took personal pride in working with his crew and myself to create my own little paradise with no exceptions. Their positive attitudes and eagerness to help out in any way was greatly appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for exceptional quality and professionalism.

It was an absolute joy working with Evan and his crew. We are thrilled with their finished product and work ethic, so much so we already have future plans for them to come back and complete more projects. An engineered wall had be used to maximize our yard space which was a big undertaking and as such, we had several contractors come out to provide bids. I'm so glad we picked Pride because we felt they were fair, saw our visions (helped meld them where my husband and I varied) and went above and beyond to keep the jobsite clean in between days. We even had a neighbor complain about the single day storage of material (there was nowhere else to put it and had city approval ) and they were very professional and handled it perfectly. Just do it. If you are thinking about a hardscape project, Evan and his team (shout-out Tristan) are your people. We had no clue what we wanted done, but knew we had a spot with potential. Evan was quick to respond to our inquiry and was on site for a bid within a week. He has an incredible eye for space. He had a vision for the area immediately and was able to bring that to life. It is far more than what we could have ever imagined. He and his team are effective and efficient. They communicated well prior to the project start and throughout the few days on site. We are beyond pleased with the final results! We would definitely hire Pride Hardscape again!

When I'm hiring a professional, I always do my homework. I chose Pride Hardscape. I wondered what "Pride" stood for in Pride Hardscape. Now I know... Evan takes "pride" in his work. We had a large tree taken out from our front yard and Evan took the roots out and made a beautiful dry steam bed. From start to finish the communication, the design, the cost, the clean-up, choosing plants, everything the job entails, Evan was professional, (but had a great since of humor) courteous, and went above and beyond my expectations. I have to add his crew was very nice, professional and worked very hard. I would highly recommend Pride Hardscape.

from the start Evan and his crew treated our project like it was their own. Evan provided design input yet was most considerate in allowing for our alternative design suggestions. We were kept in the loop as far as scheduling, delivery, construction and minor adjustments in the time frame. It was a joy to watch Evan and his excitement in creating our new oasis. Evan was also most understanding when working within our budget constraints and worked up a phased approach that allowed us to make forward progress and still stay within our budgetary constraints. We are looking forward to the next phase(s) and working with Evan and his crew just as soon as we can. One other item to point out ... Evan helped us create a plan for our backyard that fit our lifestyle (2 active dogs and newborn baby). He and the team (Brian and Chad) were professional and punctual, and they cleaned the job site between days. Evan draws on his experience and knowledge not just about hardscape but also landscape - plants, flowers, and trees for what works in the Willamette Valley under various conditions - existing trees, shade, wildlife, etc. Pride is upfront and honest about costs - we had to execute a change order and there were no surprises in the end. He did everything to make sure our vision for the backyard was realized. I'd recommend Pride to anyone without reservations and will go back to Evan and team for our next big project.
