So grateful to Premier. When Fraser's recent tornado, which destroyed the roof on both my house and garage, caught me with no insurance, Premier had pity on me. They worked quickly and efficiently to give me a beautiful new roof, professionally installed, for a fantastic price far below other's bids.

On Friday I had a thorough roof inspection performed by David he was professional, courteous, informative and very knowledgeable. Thank God. Most importantly for me was his honesty, and that is imperative in our society as it is today.

David Hall at Premiere Roofing and Renovations really did a great job for my wife and I. Our roof sustained damage from a storm and we had a terrible leak stemming from our damaged roof.
David came out to meeting with us within 2 hours of my call. He evaluated the damage by going on the roof and took pictures and sat with us to show where the damage was and recommended what needed to be done. He even came to meet with our insurance adjuster while going through inspection for the claim we made. We now have a beautiful new 50 year warrantied roof and we also had Premier install new gutters and leaf guards. We are so happy with the great job the Premier did on our home in Grosse Pointe. I would like to give a special thanks to Steve (Sales Manager) & Adam who started the process with Owens Corning to get me a new roof (after it was discovered a defect with the original shingles installed in 2017). The installation went very well and then Steve came out to ensure everything was completed and I was satisfied. He arranged for someone to come out & fix the few items that needed to be corrected & then Steve himself came out to fix something that I wasn't sure was necessary but he told me it was no problem and he wanted his customers to be 100% satisfied. I liked Premier when they originally installed a new roof for me in 2017 and they once again did a tremendous job last month with the new roof. They handled everything with Owens Corning and the Township. I would recommend Premier to anyone.

I recently had the great experience to work with Premier Roofing & Renovations. I got 3 quotes and Premier was significantly less expensive for the same scope of work. All 3 vendors quoted different roofing materials (GAF, CertainTeed and Owens Corning) all good brands but that was not the main factor. All vendors promised they were authorized at the highest level certification partners with their manufacturers. We bought the longest term transferable warranty from Owens Corning and Premier Roofing. They replaced some decking boards, tore off the old roof and re-roofed my home in just over one day (cold weather was a factor) and gutters were done the same day. 2 day job altogether. Great looking roof and cleanup was great. Would recommend Premier highly.

Every thing went really smooth. Eric came out looked at my roof and the attic explained the Owens corning system and a little about the company was here about 45 minutes got back to me within a day with an itemized list of items needed and had the best price.
I had 2 other big companies come out both spent about 3 hours, thay where installing same system same warranty and both where more than double the price first guy gave me a price of 43k and that was just the house said if I did garage in a couple months I would save being a return customer figured it would cost 50k for a 1200 SQ ft house single story.
Premier got here about 7:30 had house and garage done in about 8 hours, clean up was impressive found maybe 4 nails I had the roof put on 25 yrs ago and I found 3 coffee cans of nails these guy did a really nice job.

premier roofing is the company to go to if you need quality and professionalism done on your home. Max the company representative a gentleman and professional after you meet him you feel like you have a friend. Max stayed in communication with us all through the process of putting a new roof on. Steve the coordinator of the day and time of your roof job very professional and Jessica the lady in the office does invoices she's professional. the company comes in ask you what you need they tell you what they can do for you and they get it done. you don't find that today and you don't find quality today but you do here. I'm also having insulation blown into my attic I didn't even look for another quote I went with premiere roofing.

This is the company you want for everything roofing and even other home renovations. They are truthful and honest, good at communicating and following up, and very personable. We had an issue and needed a roof inspection. They fit us in quickly due to the circumstances and did a very thorough job with it. Luckily we didn't find any problems with the roof, but they are who we would go through if we needed any roof repairs! I'd highly recommend!

I wanted to say that Kayla and Jessica are shining Stars at Premier Roofing. After a few miscommunications Kayla stepped in, took ownership of the situation and made herself available to answer questions about the status of our roofing job. She did this because it was the right thing to do. She did not make any extra money meaning commissions. She did extra work for no extra pay. She cared about the happiness of the customer us and making sure the job was done correctly. Jessica also did extra duty. She worked with us to meet our deductible requirements. She also made herself available to make sure the job was done correctly without extra pay. When the day came to put the new roof on, the crew arrived at the time they said they would. They were the fastest crew I have ever seen. They worked hard and fast. They also cleaned up the mess that happened from stripping old shingles off the roof. they took care to make sure the doors and windows did not receive any damage from debris. They also used a heavy magnet to make sure all the nails were picked up from our lawn. I think my lawn was cleaner than when they came. I recommend Premier if you need honest hard-working people to perform your roofing jobs.

Great service, quality Owens Corning products, quality workmanship, prompt, punctual, and professional. From the initial contact to the final payment, Steve oversaw every detail and patiently answered every single question…I had a lot. After receiving roof damage during a storm, the damage was swiftly assessed, the insurance company was contacted and the insurance paperwork was promptly processed, materials were ordered and delivered, the dumpster was ordered and delivered, and the permit was secured. The crew showed up early in the morning and worked all day until the job was finished…around 7:00p.m. It was a very long day for the crew but when they left, the roof was beautiful and not a scrap or nail was left behind. Premier took over and literally did everything for me.

My part? I made a phone call to Premier Roofing and Renovations, selected the shingles and then the color. That's it.
This is the company...look no further. Easy, helpful, friendly, reasonable. Steve put a roof on my brother’s house about 10 years ago, my father’s house about 7 years ago, and now my own house. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to refer family and friends!

Austin, Steve, Keith, Ken and Joe did a great job getting our wind/storm damaged roof replaced. The roofing crew led by Obed showed up early in the morning and worked hard all day, going over and above to get our vents installed exactly where the project manager prescribed them. Obed even painted our vent stacks to match the roof. They picked up EVERYTHING and our yard was immaculate. Joe came out twice to ensure we had enough make up air in our attic so the vents work as intended. Very thankful for our beautiful new roof. Premier Roofing lived up to their name!

I change my Roof a couple a months ago and I like this company I recommend to everyone they are professional on time and I like the inspector Rick Macklin he came and inspect my roof several times and he follow my process step by step until the job get done.

I just want to say that from the beginning to the end our sales rep Rick has kept us informed of all processes and kept up with communications. From the minute we met him he was confident that we had a good claim and asked us to sit back and to relax and that he would handle everything. That is exactly what he did. To top it off I was able to get a full roof replacement for only the cost of my deductible. $500 bucks. Rick M. did a great job explaining the whole process to us and worked with our Insurance company to cover the storm damage. Premier communicated with us about the delivery of materials, dumpster drop off and roof installation. Obed and his crew were amazing and very professional. They also cleaned everything up afterwards. We have a beautiful new roof thanks to whole Premier Team.

We severely needed to replace our 20+ year old roof! I asked for a quote online from Premier Roofing and Renovations and was contacted the next day by Rick Mickhail. He came out promptly to inspect our roof, and began the process of writing a claim with our home owners insurance to get the cost of the roof covered! It took a couple weeks, but in the end all we had to pay for was our deductible and insulation removal and replacement (which we have financed for a 12 month period, and didn’t need to pay out of pocket for immediately). Rick got our insurance to cover not only the cost of removal of two layers of old shingles and all the materials to replace, but also wood decking for the entire house as what we had up there was rotting and not up to code! To say his persistence saved us thousands of dollars is not an overstatement; we wouldn’t have been able to replace our roof at this time without his assistance in managing our claim with insurance. When it came time for install day, the crew was friendly, professional and thorough. The end product is clean and honestly, beautiful. My family and I are so happy with our new roof and decision to work with Premier on quite a big project! The two photos are from a couple hours into install day and after.

Premier Renovations is the most complicated contractor we have ever worked with. Our first contact with Tyler, our sales representative was on June 1st. We signed the contract on June 21st for our new roof which stated it would take 3-4 weeks to receive the materials needed and to start installation, weather permitting. Our roof didn’t get installed until August 11th, over 7 weeks since we signed our contract with Premier which wasn't the issue I asked to keep updated and wasn't texted and called multiple times for updates and no response from Tyler.

Working with Tyler and his poor communication was the worst part of this whole process. Tyler never showed up to an appointment on time and never gave us any notice of cancellation or running late. My wife and I both work full-time jobs and were having to take time off work to come home for an appointment where no one ever showed up, including one day they stated they would install our roof but no one ever showed up. Majority of the time Tyler never responded to our texts or phone calls for status updates on the installation as it took almost double the amount of time he stated it would in the contract. After multiple attempts for an answer on the status of our installation, Tyler told us to reach out to someone named Steve who we called and texted but never received a response from. I emailed and called the company themselves and also never received a response from them until my wife contacted Keith and told him of our dissatisfaction with our sales rep and highly considered pulling out of our contract and using another company. The only time Tyler reached out to us was for payment. If it wasn’t for that, we would have never heard from him.

The day of installation went very smoothly and the contractors were very respectful. However, after installation we had a leak in the bathroom. We reached out to Joe on August 20th who was very helpful and came out within a hour in the rain and sealed up where the he believed water was coming in from. We were told due to the pitch of our roof it might not be under warranty which concerned us as we would have went with a different company or seen what are options were if we knew this information prior. We proceeded to tell Tyler we would not provide final payment without proof of warranty as it was originally promised. We did not receive our warranty paperwork for 6.5 more weeks.

The entire process from the time we reached out to Premier to providing the warranty and final payment took 18 weeks which is highly unacceptable. The roof installation was the best part of this experience but the process before and after was very infuriating. We do not want any of our friends or family to experience what we had went through during this process and therefore will nit recommend this company.

The work they did was good overall, but the lack of communication with me and also between the people within the company was frustrating. For example, my sales rep was quick to ask for money and pick up checks, but took several days to respond to my texts. He also failed to ask me important questions about colors which caused me to need to have the work crew back out to fix.

Rick is very professional and knows roofs. He is with you from beginning to end. Thumbs up to Premier Roofing.

We had some damage to our roof after a storm. Tyler from Premier Roofing came out to access the damage. He found out that our insurance company would replace the roof with only the cost of our deductible. Tyler called the insurance company for me to get the process started. He made everything extremely easy and the roof looks great. Thank you Premier Roofing!

Justin from Premier Roofing went above and beyond all expectations from the first appointment to the last. Justin was able to get my new roof completely covered by insurance and he also took care of all of the communication with my insurance company (which I loved because who likes to talk to their insurance company). My insurance company at first did not approve enough funding and multiple calls were needed to resolve this issue, Justin made all of these follow up calls for me and resolved the issue. My roof install was made in half of a day by a professional crew and it looks great. I would have never thought that I could get a full new roof with top of the line products for only my insurance deductible but Justin made it happen! All around this company (Justin was the majority of my contacts) was professional, personal, well communicated and overall a pleasure to do business with, I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Very professional and reliable company. The workers were very friendly and efficient. They were very responsive to my needs. They were very good at cleaning up. The company worked well with my insurance company. The only glitch was there was suppose to be some aluminum siding work done according to the contract but they were not able to do it so I had to find a contractor to do it. The insurance company was willing to reimburse me. I would definitely use this company to install a roof.

My Experience,

The Good:
Workers were professional , fast and got the job done with barely any left over nails. I'm happy with the outcome of the roof.

The Bad:
Lack of communication, and seemed unorganized.

- Started the process in late May, and roof wasn't on until mid Aug.
- Never got updates, and always had to email or call to find out any information on the process.
-Thought it was weird that they wanted payment before we even discussed color, material, and what the actual process would entail.
-Kept forgetting about my garage roof, and when the roofers finally got to my house to do the roof I was leaving on vacation, so I called in to make sure they were doing both the Main house and garage that same day and was told "Yes". Came home from vacation with an invoice in my email for all the work for both roofs, but they forgot to do the garage roof. Had to call and let them know for them to come back out and finish the garage roof.

All in all the roof install was good, but the process was not a good experience.

Great customer service, and fantastic quality! Ken was very professional, explained everything step by step, and kept us up to date on the entire process. Would give them 6 stars if i could!

Compelled to share my thoughts on what's really been a long process that began this spring. On the strength of a neighbor's referral, I reached out to this company as I understood they had special expertise in working with insurance claims. In the beginning they were responsive, engaged and helpful in dealing with the adjuster and filing my claim. The big speed bump came when the adjuster (who was a sub-contractor to the insurance company) inferred the claim would likely be denied because he disagreed there was significant hail damage (based on photos Premier provided) and hail reports showed no storms over my area for the past year likely disqualifying my claim.

Despite that initial assessment, the door was still open for my claim and to his credit, Tyler (the rep assigned to my job) remained engaged and communicated his next steps plan was that he was going to "meet up with another adjuster to get his opinion," use him as "our public adjuster and have him walk the roof with me and give his personal report in which I would turn into your insurance company."

Of note, during this timeframe, I had multiple major family crises dealing with the back-to-back passing of my brother, sister, aunt and a close friend and had to travel out of state for all four funerals while personally handling the arrangements for two services.

Understandably, I informed both the adjuster and Tyler I couldn't deal with this right now as my priorities and focus had shifted to family and travel. My emphasis ask of Tyler was to simply stay connected with the adjuster to address his Qs and/or concerns and he assured me he would do so. Both understood my situation and said they would put things on hold for the time being with Tyler updating me "I got my owner involved so he will also be in contact with the adjuster. Let me know your availability next week. We are going to request a re-inspection. I'll have my owner reach out to him and I'll get back to you when you're available." Encouraged at least things would keep moving towards a positive outcome, I replied I'd be back the following Monday.

Here's where things truly went downhill ... despite multiple follow up outreaches, the only person answering and returning my calls was the adjuster who confirmed he never heard from Tyler or anyone from Premier since the week of the initial on-site roof inspection and Tyler sharing the photos he took of the roof. Even after leaving messages with their office, to this day, I've never heard from anyone from Premier again. Didn't take long for my light-bulb moment to realize they didn't think they'd make any money off my claim and closed the door on me as a client.

Fast forward, the insurance company retained another roofing company, did a reinspection, and based on that reinspection APPROVED my claim. Considering Premier dropped me, I lost confidence in using them and, fittingly, dropped them. My new Owens Corning roof was done in two days and I'm a happy homeowner.

In closing, this "review" is not about bashing Premier, the quality of their work (which I can't attest to) or a commentary on their motivations or integrity. It's simply sharing an honest firsthand reflection of my experience in hiring them (yes I hired them) to replace my roof.

Final thoughts ... even if my claim got denied (which it didn't), wouldn't they at least afford me the chance to pay out of pocket if willing and able? Since I never received an actual cost estimate, I'll guess I'll never know. Uniquely, in finding my new roofers, every other company I met with gave me an upfront cost estimate so, insurance or not, I knew what the job would cost if hired. Easy to conclude, because they don't give you a price up front, their business model (pretty slick by the way) is whatever the insurance company will pay, that amount or more is what they would charge.

Tyler Powers approached me as he notice extensive wind damage to our roof. He did a thorough inspection, took photos and filed a claim with our insurance company. He walked us through the process and we now have a beautiful new roof. Thank you Tyler Powers and Premier roofing for making the process easy.

Very positive attitude throughout the company with even the owner stopping by upon completion to personally inspect the quality of the work. The crew was respectful of the property and very professional.
