I was so nervous trying to find the perfect roofing company. Well I found it. Preferred Exteriors. This company is so different then the others. They are not pushy. They explain everything to you. They explain the procedure and what going to happen the day of install. There was this one girl who stood out the most. Her name is Christine. And this is why I chose this company. Because of her knowledge, calmness, and she spoke to me with truth and professional knowledge and understanding of what and how nervous I was. This procedure is not like going to a.clothes store and picking out a shirt. Christine helped me in a calm manner. I made so many phone calls to her and she took each call, and answered all my tons of questions. She is the most understanding, professional and knowledgeable person I have spoken to in years. This Christine is a gem to this company. When they came to install the entire 10 men were professional, clean, precise in all that they did. They were exactly on time. They tarped all 4 sides of my home. They were quick and most importantly gentlemen in everything they did and said. In and out 1 day. I asked alot of questions. And the Forman told me exactly what was.going to be done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get their roof done. I will tell my family and friends also. The team rebuilt my balcony where the under floor had rotted and was leaking water into my downstairs neighbors unit. The team was prompt, professional and extremely neat. The team worked in the blistering sun for 3 full days, fixed the problem and restored my balcony to brand new condition. I received regular updates from the projected management team. Highly recommend.

I was getting soft spots/wood rot in a few parts of the inside of my roof/attic. They sent out a gentleman named Gio to check out the roof and give me an estimate.
He was very pleasant to deal with and down to earth, the whole team was.

I had spoken to the owner Matt about a few concerns I had, all of them were taken care of and I now have my new roof. They came when they said they would, the work looks great, and they cut no corners.

I would also like to mention Matt's assistant Brandy, she's very kind and an asset to his team. She answered my many questions and was always very easy to deal with and got me my answers quickly.

Preferred Exterior recently finished a complete tear off and replacement of a roof on my home. The original cedar shakes and a layer of asphalt shingles had to be removed. My wife and I are both 100% satisfied with the project. The company was completely professional at all times. The sales rep was polite and knowledgeable and provided good advice. The office staff was responsive, also polite and professional. The installation crew was great, hard working and did an incredible job. We have received lots of compliments and have absolutely no leaks after torrential rain! I would highly recommend this company.

I have been so fortunate to have Cameron and his team of roofers replace the roof on more than one house. The first one was my personal home. Thats when I knew they were the best roofers anywhere. They arrived on time did a great job and cleaned up like they were never there. Even after after several years It is still looks new and it is the best looking roof on my street. Preferred has just finished a house I'm working on and Cameron came out in the rain to help cover the damaged part of the roof during the storm. Used Preferred Exterior to replace my roof. The workers were very professional and courteous. They discussed any changes to the original plan before proceeding with the new work. They were constantly cleaning up after themselves throughout the day and left the area spotless when they left. I would definitely use them for any future work on my house.

Cristina Simonelli was very helpful and communications great on scheduling the project. She was always responsive to my calls and emails. The workers were respectful, professional and cleaned up everything afterwards. The work was great and I’m happy.

Matt and the guys were terrific. Matt took the time to look through the whole roof before giving an estimate. They came on time. Price was competitive. They did the whole roof in one day. They cleaned up after themselves very well. These guys know what they are doing. Very professional and friendly. They have the 25 year golden pledge labor warranty. They made the process very easy. I couldn't imagine a company doing a better job of replacing your roof and making every step along the way a pleasant experience. Everyone that I dealt with was knowledgeable, pleasant and able to answer all my questions. I spent many years as a construction inspector on many large and small sites both private and public and would place Preferred at the top of my list for a roofing company. They removed an old roof that was problematic since it was installed 17 years earlier. They replaced all decayed roof structure, removed and reinstalled siding on all my roof dormers to install missing flashing and replaced defective flashing on all roof penetrations. They installed a drip edge and ice dam shield along every edge. They installed an extended warranty roofing system and added a new ridge vent which greatly improved my attic ventilation this summer. They completed the work in one day. There was a crew of 15 or more working closely together and to me the outcome was more than I expected. They did a perfect job and left the property around my house cleaner than it was before they arrived. We've had a few very heavy downpours since the roof was installed without a trace of water getting in. I expect that to be the case0p for many years to come.q

We are very happy with our roof and gutter installation on our home and garage. From the inception of our contact with Matt from Preferred we knew this was the roofing company to perform the services on our home. Matt kindly answered all of our questions. My husband is very thorough and contacted Matt several times with follow up questions and Matt always responded. Nicole was prompt and very responsive whether by phone or email. She is an absolute darling. Approximately 15 gentleman worked on the main house and garage.....not once would you have known they were present. Each day they were there, the debris was picked up with no evidence of their labor. Excellent customer service, professional, knowledgeable and transparent. I hired Preferred Exterior Corp. to remove my old roof & skylight. They installed a new roof. I also hired Preferred to remove my old siding & they installed new siding & gutters. The job came out beautiful and they did a great job with clean-up.

I called these guys to get an estimate and they were BY FAR THE MOST PROFESSIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE. They were doing the roof at my office and I was surprised they do residential too.
It seemed that not only the other companies were sleazy salesman but they didn't know what they were talking about. Matt came by and assessed what i needed and made sure they provided a new roof that didn't leak not now but for the next 30 years. Probably the easiest experience I've had so far with my home renovation experience. Matt and his crew set a date, came by and replaced my roof, I paid, and that was it. My roof looks great and no more leaks are there in the attic. Couldn't be happier because the weather started to turn after they replaced it.

Hired them to replace my old leaky slate roof with asphalt shingle. They did an amazing job. Very professional and on time. The job was done in a day. They were very reasonably priced and the new roof even comes with a great warranty that no other roofer offered us. We went with asphalt for budget reasons, but they did also offer to install a new slate roof which other companies in the area can't or won't do.
I'll be calling them again when it's time to replace the roof on my garage. I'd recommend them to anyone.

This job included removing the old roofing before installing the new. The work was of the highest quality, finished within the projected time period, and completed meticulously without leaving a mess for the community. One of the best experiences we’ve had with a contractor. Every person we dealt with was knowledgeable and courteous. My roof was done on time, it took around 12 people and less than 6 hours to have the job done! They were honest, fair priced, and highly professional. We had small issue a week later and I contacted Matt via email and within 24 hours the issue was resolved. I highly recommend this company.

I had 5 estimates for my roofing job. The prices came in all pretty close to each other but the only company that I trusted was Preferred Exterior. Matt and his team know the industry. They take pride in their work. They provided me with all the information needed to make an informed decision. They followed through with every promise made. Cleaned up around the house after the job (I haven’t found 1 nail yet!). Honest and trustworthy. This company is going to be around forever. Don’t use anyone else for your roofing needs.

Previous owner had roof work done before we bought the house but work was average at best. There were nail heads all throughout the roof that caused leaking. We knew that the roof needed to be replaced before the winter time (roof was done in late Sept). We must have called 15 contractors for estimates. Matt from Preferred was the most honest and knowledgeable of all the contractors we've called. Roofing is not something that I'm familiar with but is an important part of any home. Matt made sure we knew everything there was to know about having a roof in outstanding condition. He was very prompt with his responses via phone and email. On the day of the job, the workers arrived on time and it seemed that they knew what was needed to be done right the first time. The best way to describe the team was a well oiled machine. The manager on site walked me through the whole process and assured me everything was going to be ok and it was. The best part of the job was not only the work itself but the price was fair compared to others who didn't used GAF materials. We had a few estimates for the Owens Corning roof system which seems expensive and the sales staff was overselling me. Glad I didn't fall for their trick and glad I made the right decision in choosing GAF and Preferred. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks!

Did lot of research and took tons of estimates before deciding on Preferred both from product selection perspective and estimate. Turns out that is the best decision that made Matt and his entire team finish with flawless execution from start to finish. Shingles and the home look completely fresh and elevated the look and feel tremendously.
Came by same day and sent the estimates with clear and concise details making sure they explain even the smallest of the details that are required by the owners. Roofing is not something you do every once in 5 years... glad i made the right decision with Preferred and GAF.

I have taken tons of estimates from other independent roofers and gaf elite roofers too, but i would suggest Preferred against any of the other roofers in this area.
