This is a long one......
May 2024 famous Denver hail storm and it damages the roof. Everyone is getting their roof done in the neighborhood. My roof starts leaking in the summer in July. I look at the roofs in the neighborhood and see one that I really like. It takes me a while but out of everything it is completely different. It is a black roof with different vents and it looks awesome.
I call the company rep on the sign and have him come out to talk to us about doing our roof. This is the largest company in Colorado.
The rep comes out and talks to my wife and I. We tell him everything that the roof is leaking, what we are looking for, the roof down the street that looks awesome and our insurance information. He looks at roof, and shows us where the leak is probably is coming from and assures us that we will get this done.
I call him back in about a week about getting the roof done. He informs the sad fact that I bought messed up insurance that doesn't cover the roof for the fence. He goes out of town and other things then tries to get me to call the adjuster to get more money. Out of the claim for the roof we only get 1700 dollars. Our roof has never been changed since we bought the house so not having an acv policy brings in depreciation and we don't get squat. I keep calling the guy and calling I don't get much. I informed him that although I don't want to, I have the money to pay for replacement of the roof. I just need to get it done because it September now. After a while I don't hear anything from the rep. Now comes the good part

Later in September, I am outside trying to clean up the driveway, Ken from Precise comes up to me. We start talking and he asks me about roof replacement. I tell him my woes about this other company the couple of months of trying to get something done and that I had the money to put up to get it done. He says its no problem that he'll have his man Chris give me a call on Monday. Like clockwork Chris calls me up and I set up a date later in the week to look at my roof. Sure enough he there he looks at the roof and shows me the options that Precise has. He took down my insurance info and says he will look into it. I stress to him that I just want it done. I can't afford to have a leak.
I was a little leery at first because I had someone else promise the world and I got jack squat before. The week after he comes back and convinces me to sign a quick contract so he can look into pricing out the roof. After I do that he says he will come back to tarp the holes to stop the leak. Sure enough he's back in two days to tarp the leak.
Chris does everything he says he's going to do. He says to me since we are in October he will get the roof on by Nov 1. He allows me to make two payments, one when the materials arrive and one when the roof is done. It took one day for the roofers to put remove and replace the roof. It looks perfect. My gutters are the bigger ones to help with leaves. Chris and Precise got me everything I couldn't get from the biggest company in Colorado. They hooked me up.

Everyone I worked with here has been incredibly honest communicative and upfront. After our hailstorm in May there were suddenly an abundance of new roofing companies. I was appreciative to find Precise Roofing. A local well established business. After my very brief appointment with the insurance adjuster they gave me a fraction of what was needed to restore my home back to what it was. Alan and Donnell came out and spent a couple hours meticulously identifying the storm damage to my roof, gutters, windows, screens, siding, paint, garage door, fence an interior leak and even my contents. They took 100s of pictures. Chaulked the damage. Then presented the evidence to my adjuster along with a quote. Although it took my insurance company some time to review everything, they kept me up to date with the process. In the end they were able to get everything paid for and restored back to pre-storm conditions. There crews were tidy and respectful. They kept everything clean. And they did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Precise for all your construction needs.

I was very happy with Precise Roofing. Everything went smoothly and I barely had to do anything. They filed the claim with my insurance company, walked with the insurance adjustor to make sure nothing was missed (hail damaged gutters, cracked window frame, etc.) The only thing I was unhappy about after the new roofing was installed was that some of the light-colored flashing showed where one part of the roof and another part were separate and it stood out because my new roof is black and my house is two colors of dark gray. To make me happy, Tony, the Project Manager, came back and painted the flashing and the underneath edge of my stucco where it showed. I am happy now. I would highly recommend Precise.

I do NOT recommend this roofing company. To sum things up, they have poor customer service, questionable quality roof replacement, lack of clean up after the project was completed and did not complete contracted items causing me to pay out of pocket for issues that they caused. I cannot recommend this roofer. I am frustrated and disappointed.

Precise Roofing LLC has poor customer service throughout the roofing process, so bad that I am concerned that their roofing work is also inferior. Because of this I am paying out of pocket to have another roofer come check their work to be certain the roof was installed correctly. The City did sign off on the roof but that does not speak to the quality of the installation, which will be easier to fix now than later on down the road when there are issues.

It was difficult to confirm their insurance because they use two different brokers and changed insurance AGAIN right before the start of my project. Make sure to get the certificate directly from the broker or insurer and not from the roofer. This is crucial to ensure before letting anyone work on your home!

The vent going to my water heater was disconnected during the process and although fixing this was part of my final contract in writing, it has been 7 weeks and they still will not send someone out to make this repair. This is a carbon monoxide risk so I am also paying out of pocket to have an HVAC company come out to repair this.

In addition, they left shards of metal all around my house and down my driveway so I spent a few hours picking everything up so my pup doesn’t shred his paws or I get a flat tire. I have pictures of this. While some of the shards were little tendrils there were countless that were 2”-3” and could really do some damage. Careless.

There are thousands of roofing companies to choose from so don’t choose this one.

Jingjing does a wonderful job. Comes to my house every time when I need her, even just a little thing. Very smoothly and thoughtful.

I highly recommend this company. They fixed my roof leak problem last years. The service speed is fast, the quality is good. The most important thing is that the price is much cheaper than the others. I feel lucky to know such a company. There's one detail that really moved me, When they were fixing the roof, they found that the drainage pipes on the other side of my house were blocked by leaves, and they would also help clean up. There's no need for you to tell him, he'll find a problem and help solve it.

On may 28th 2023 Victor and MJ knocked on my door offering to inspect my roof. Against my better judgment, I accepted and they confirmed that I needed to replace my roof. Victor informed me that I needed to sign a "General Construction service agreement" before the insurance company would proceed with the claim. I've since learned that this is a predatory practice that unscrupulous roofing contractors use to trap customers in a contractual obligation before its necessary to have such an agreement. I will provide these details to the state attorney general to inform them of how I was lied to in order to get a signed agreement out of me. It is now October 25th 2023 and Precise roofing has yet to even tell me what it would take to replace my roof. I went back and forth with the insurance company myself even though that is Victor's job trying to get Victor to provide itemized estimates so that they can either approve or deny the claim; so that I could move forward with the roof repair. Victor was submitting one line estimates with no detail and then blamed the insurance company for being difficult. The insurance company told me they have never received a one line estimate from a contractor that said paint house with a dollar amount. It has to be itemized. From the very beginning Victor has made less than minimal effort to help me through this process. My insurance company at one point was calling me every single day to ask when estimates would be provided and that Victor was not returning phone calls. I have never felt so disregarded by a company that stood to profit off of my home repair. Please do yourself a favor and steer very clear of this company. Victor seemingly has no interest in actually guiding people through this process and insuring that he provides a quality service. My guess is that any positive reviews for Victor are from super low hanging fruit that he didn't have to work very hard for. I had to chase Victor for answers around every corner. Victor mislead me in believing that I needed to contract him to do the work in order to move through the process. I feel like I was preyed upon to keep me from seeking other roofing companies to get additional opinions and quotes. Every time I spoke with Victor he made me feel like I was burdening him. Save yourself the time and energy and find a reputable company that has helped someone you know instead of ending up where I am. I now have to start this process all over with a different company after nearly 6 months of trying to get Precision to fight for me and get my roof done. I'm just appalled by the lack of regard for my time and my project and very frustrated. I probably will only be able to get my roof done now in 2024 a year or more after my roof was damaged.
