I wrote a 5-star review of this company last year after they installed a new roof on my home. Another review is now warranted given PowerRoofr's post installation mentality. After installation, our home developed a new roof leak due to a defective clothes dryer vent (not PowerRoofr's fault). The leak caused damage to our hallway ceiling. Danish and Abdul both came to our home to identify the source of the leak (which they did). A team was then assembled to replace the defective vent with a new one, which was not a simple task since the surrounding shingles and waterproofing strips also had to be replaced. Additionally, PowerRoofr agreed to reimburse us to have the damaged ceiling repaired and repainted. These guys stand by their work and their customers. Could not recommend these guys any more positively. Customer satisfaction is at the top of their priority list...

This Google review begins with a FULL ENDORSEMENT and 5-STAR RATING for PowerRoofr, a smaller but growing roofing and house exterior company. My large roof was 25-years old, had numerous leaks and was in dire need of replacement. It came with its own set of challenges: gutters, skylights, chimney and ventilation issues. I also vetted four other roofing companies who came out to assess, inspect and provide replacement estimates. These four competing companies were "top-rated" roofers recommended by the BEST PICK REPORTS magazine (that we all get in the mail).

My first introduction to PowerRoofr was with a genuinely friendly and experienced "point man" by the name of Danish Ghauri. Danish had the technical expertise AND the customer service skills that were unmatched. Danish was ALWAYS available by either text or phone call within "minutes" after I reached out to him. AWESOME !

At the end of the day, PowerRoofr proved it belonged to be considered with those larger/more established roofing companies. PowerRoofr's final offer was materially less than the other four "high overhead" companies and included a couple of sweeteners that locked in the deal.

The installation was flawless. About 15 roofing professionals arrived at 7:30 am and was led by its Project Leader, Abdul Kadir. Abdul was an absolute gem! So knowledgeable, so patient, so nice and most importantly, so attentive to details. Can't say enough good things about him. The workers were a well-oiled machine. Everyone had their areas of expertise and were equally attentive to the details specific to their duties. My landscaping was very well protected both before and after. Nothing was overlooked.

FINAL REVIEW. Our home has been completely transformed by PowerRoofr. Not only by its gorgeous appearance but by the knowledge that we are protected by what's underneath the shingles. While I periodically stood on the roof to watch all 15 roofers doing their thing, I couldn't help but feel the pride that we had made the right decision to choose PowerRoofr as our roofing company. We have zero complaints and nothing but positive remarks towards Danish, Abdul and their entire PowerRoofr team.

Danish (the Project Manager) and Kadir (Foreman and original roof inspector) were extremely professional and helpful in guiding us during our roof replacement. The entire process was very transparent and communication was excellent. The entire roof and gutter replacement went smoothly and the new roof looks great.

Pricing was very competitive with other quotes we had received. Overall very happy with Power Roofrs and have already recommended them to others in the neighborhood who have complemented us on the new roof.

I spent a significant amount of time researching and selecting a roofer, and I quickly realized how crucial it is for the installing company to have the correct certifications from the shingle manufacturer. Why is this important? It ensures better warranty coverage from the manufacturer. For instance, GAF offers 50 years of Smart Choice Protection when a certified installer performs the work, but this drops to just 10 years if non-certified installers do the job. GAF provides a “Verify My Contractor” link on their website. You will find a number NoVA roofing companies are not certified. They may do a good job, but you’re losing out on the warranty.

After receiving several quotes, I chose Danish and PowerRoofr for the project. While I was initially hesitant because they were one of the lower-cost options, they met all of my requirements. They were GAF certified and followed industry best practices using GAF-recommended systems.

In the end, I couldn’t have made a better choice. From start to finish, Danish was extremely accommodating and ensured the job was done to perfection. I’ve already recommended them to several neighbors and friends.
