Porto's construction is a rare gem as a contractor. If you've ever dealt with other contractors, most won't return a call or show up to a job. These guys do a great job and are very professional!

Very straight forward about time for project and cost. We were very pleased with products and workmanship . Communication is important to us. We were very happy with phone calls, texts, and immediate responses. Highly recommend!

Matt completed a 3-season addition as well as roofing and siding for my entire home. Not only was the quality of the work exceptional, Matt was communicative throughout the process and patient when explaining options. I had storm damage to my home in Pittsburgh that resulted in roof damage, siding damage, and water damage to the third floor ceiling and walls, all of which needed replacement. Porto's was very clear about what would be included in the repair work quote, and Matt (the owner) was flexible to change some things to suit what we wanted in terms of cosmetics and also scope of work. After work started, Matt was committed to not changing his price, even when things came up that other contractors would have charged more for. At the end, there was a small issue where some of his guys didn't clean up one room of the house properly, and so Matt came out personally, the very next day, and helped clean up the area with me for a few hours. Matt is a trustworthy guy dedicated to keeping his word, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Porto's again or recommend them to a friend.

Matt Portos, owner of Portas Construction, was referred to me by a close friend, as a contractor that I could trust and do impeccable work. Met with Matt, he offered a fair and competitive price comparable to other bids. He laid out a scope of work, when he would start, the amount of time it would take.
My friend was spot on. We had our entire house resided and we are beyond pleased. Matt lived up to our expectations. Highly recommend this young man and his company for any work you are considering.

Tell ya what. I don’t know if he’s the lowest price out there, but I think he is the best value. Work was done on time, as planned, no surprises. Final product looks amazing. I could not be more pleased. Matt runs a good show and he supported by a great team.

Matt and crew started the job on time . He delivered everything he promised and on time and made a few improvements! He and the crew were professional, courteous, and flexible. You tell him what you want and what you want the end result will be . He will devise a plan to get you there and keep you informed along the way. He even included before and after pictures of the job with his drone .

Matt fixed significant issues in the drainage and pipes leading from our basement bathroom that required tearing up and replacing tile and Vynal wood flooring. He completed the work from assessment through refinishing our floors with high quality work and in the timeframe and budget he had quoted during the assessment.

He was thorough in communicating with us, specifically when he ran into a setback. The plumbing was not laid in a typical and logical way leading to additional work/time to find the location of the problem. He needed to bring in another person and additional equipment to fix the issue and he kept us informed through the entire process.

I highly recommend using Matt for any of your contracting needs.
