Pond Roofing Company was recommended to us by a friend and I have already recommended them to my family. Brett was punctual, communicated clearly throughout the process and answered our questions. The front office was equally as communicative and kept you updated on your service.

Pond Roofing has been a fantastic company to work with, from our first meeting four years ago to get a quote for a new roof to today when a very heavy thunderstorm appeared to cause a small leak in one of our HVAC stacks. Shanti Smith has been a pleasure to work with, from his first visit to provide an estimate where he already separated himself from other potential roofing providers by being the only one to actually get up on our roof and walk the entire surface, to today when he was able to come over right away to diagnose the leak from the storm (some failing metallic tape above the storm collar of our HVAC stack which was not installed by Ponds and was due to just time) and immediately provide the fix himself. He has always been straightforward, trustworthy, easy to understand, and absolutely no pressure. Four years ago, he was there when the installation crew first started to put on our roof and back again to inspect and check in with us when they were finished. And he continued that great service today. Ponds was neither the cheapest (do you really want just the cheapest for your roof?) nor the most expensive, but we think they are definitely the best value. And nothing beats the trust that we have in Shanti, especially for something as important as our roof (and it's ventilation with eave and ridge vents, and the boots that protect the vents that come through the roof, and the expertise of the installation team, which matters at least as much if not more than the products you select to cover your roof). I had a great experience with Pond Roofing for fascia and gutter repairs/replacement. Cameron and Tony were transparent and low pressure with the estimate/proposal. Nate came out to give us an estimate. He looked at our roof, checked in our attic for signs of leaks, and at other trim work we needed done. He showed us that we didn’t need any roof work done (we were concerned about what looked like some shingles moved during a recent heavy rain and wind storm). He was friendly and knowledgeable, and honest (knew the brand and type of our roof shingles on sight) and gave us great advice. Even though we didn’t need Pond’s services, he’s guaranteed we’d strongly consider them for any roofing work in the future.

Really great staff (Cameron). Told me the problem I was trying to solve couldn’t be fixed with an attic fan and so they didn’t want me to invest money unnecessarily. Honesty is hard to come by so definitely would recommend them!

We had our roof replaced by Pond two years ago. A tree branch damaged a part of that, separating the fascia from the rake. Shanti from Pond was able to do some quick work and fix the problem. Pond Roofing is the best company we’ve ever hired to perform work in our home. This year, we hired Pond to replace two 30-year old skylights and make several other minor roofing/gutter repairs. For the second year in a row, the team of Pedro, Carlos, Fausto, and Binh did a meticulous job. And Joe the Estimator was top notch, too. They took their time to ensure the work was done properly, were pleasant and extremely communicative, and even performed a few extra minor tasks. Great service from providing an estimate to the actual replacement of a 45-yr gutter system. The installation plan redesigned the downspout layouts for better flow & cleaner look. A recent heavy rain tested the new system & it worked perfectly...no overflow of the gutters & no backup of the downspouts.

Pond replaced our roof and installed an attic fan in 2011. Their work then was entirely satisfactory. This year the attic fan motor burned out. Anthony and Nick came out to look. They were wonderful. They said Pond would replace the fan at no charge. In about a week a technician arrived as scheduled (sorry, I did not get his name) and did the work. All is well. Thank you, Pond!

Pond is very professional. The estimator really knew about everything I was asking for. During the job, one of the supervisors came out to check, and we he was able to explain the venting process of soffits, baffles etc. 5-star experience!

Today reps from Pond Roofing came to our house to give estimates for three different projects -- new roof, new gutters, and significant trim repair. Unlike another estimator that came out two days ago, Anthony and Nick climbed into my attic to inspect the underside of the roof. Then Anthony climbed a ladder on the exterior to inspect outside issues. While two stories up, he noticed that our gutters were clogged at the downspouts, and he cleaned them out by hand. He did this for four different downspouts. The released water flowed for more than five minutes. Later, he came back same day to provide detailed estimates, and answered all questions, including potential problem areas on our roof. They spent a significant amount of time helping to select a color for the trim that would best match existing colors. I could not be more impressed with their knowledge, experience and professionalism.

Pond Roofing did a fantastic jobe with installation of a our new roof, attic fan and new gutters. Very professional and job site was cleaned after installation. They actually completed our installation ahead of schedule, which was a relief given all of the rain we have experienced over the last several days in Northern Virginia. We recently noticed some shingles falling off of our roof and consulted Pond for an estimate before filing a claim with insurance. Brett came out and helped me understand that my roof was just old and needed to be replaced (and not worth involving insurance).

Brett provided a great overview of what to expect in terms of cost, what to expect with the work and what makes Pond different than other roofers. Ultimately we decided to proceed with Pond as their pricing was market competitive for what they provide and I can’t believe how fast they worked (scheduled within 2 weeks and completed within 2 days). From my perspective, they did a great job and clean-up was outstanding (haven’t found a single nail or piece of waste yet)!

We used Pond to replace the roof at our previous home and was glad that we could use them again. I would strongly recommend! I’m sure you can find better pricing but Pond uses quality materials and they stand behind their work which made me comfortable paying a bit more (if we even did).

He diagnosed the problem, provided a solution, but also gave us the big picture - spending thousands in short term fixes would not truly solve the issue. Got a “fun” letter from the HOA for my rental condo. Deadline to remove all satellite dishes from the roof or face fines. My tenants have never been allowed since I knew they violated the HOA but someone else stuck theirs on my part of the roof and I would get the fine regardless. I wanted Pond to do the work to make sure the roof would not leak into my unit afterward and needed licensed and insured- 3 floors up. Brett met me at the property and we saw there were now 3!!! Satellite dishes on my part of the roof- none authorized by me. Brett called his manager and got me a package deal which was deeply appreciated. Turned a copy of the contract in to the HOA to avoid any fines and got a call about a week later saying they had a cancellation and was it ok to do the work that day. Yes! While on the roof, they discovered some missing shingles and replaced them with a couple extras they had on the truck. So nice! (Note: Dish Network refuses to take responsibility for putting them on incorrect properties in violation of HOA rules or not putting up more- have filed an FCC complaint.)

That proved even more true when Joe, the estimator, went to my mom‘s house to help find the source of a ceiling stain. It ends up the roof is fine but thereare other non-roof problems. Wanted to take a minute to let others know about the exemplary job Pond Roofing has done. I’ve never undertaken a roof replacement before and had no idea what to expect. I talked with four (4) different providers … including Pond Roofing. It was a simple decision. I decided to go with Pond Roofing for two reasons: (a) trust and (b) professionalism. When I met with Joe Gajewski from Pond the first time, he took the time to find out the kind of roof I needed as well as answer my questions. He made a few recommendations but never oversold. He produced the proposal on the spot during his visit and subsequently answered many questions over the phone in the week that followed. Joe has integrity, knowledge of roofing and, throughout the project, followed thru with all his commitments on behalf of Pond. He is an outstanding representative for the company and a good person!

Once my project moved into the scheduling and planning phase, I worked with Nataly and Jennifer who made the whole process seamless. They always returned my calls promptly and really tried to work within my schedule to make the project happen on time. Exceptional support! Ana and Erika assisted me many times with questions I had as well as requests for information from others. They provided access to photos of the roof that were taken before and after the project so I could view the work myself. Very much appreciated their help. The crews that actually did the work were polite, respectful of my property, efficient and hard working. Juan, the crew leader, kept me informed, was polite and managed the job flawlessly. Quite a manager! Finally, Pat, the owner, made a point of visiting in person on Day 2 of the project. It’s clear that the vision for this company starts at the top. He's a remarkable leader who sets a professional tone making it easy for customers to trust that the job will be done correctly and with craftsmanship.

The bottom line. The project was completed on time about three (3) weeks ago. After two (2) rain storms in this areas over the last few weeks, no leaks. Several neighbors have asked who did the work on my roof. I have peace of mind that this is done for the next 30+ years. Thank you, Pond Roofing!

Shanti arrived on time to provide me an estimate to repair blown off aluminum siding. We had the 2 pieces of aluminum that had blown off and he offered to reattach them and then he hammered in the loose nails on the remaining siding. Shanti went above and beyond. I highly recommend Pond Roofing.

Pond Roofing did an excellent job installing my roof. My neighbors have given me nice comments on it. They watched the installation too. The biggest plus for me was the job the estimator (Shanti) did inspecting my roof beforehand - he was the only one who actually got up there and took a real look around. From the beginning, it was a very good experience. Our Estimator, Cameron, was very professional and explained everything in great detail. When the job started, Robert, our project manager, kept us up to date on all the issues and timelines. He was incredibly helpful and his crew was good. I recently had my roof replaced and it was a very positive experience from beginning to finish. A leak developed in a bedroom ceiling which could have ended badly if not corrected quickly. Pond Roofing's technician did a thorough investigation which convinced me that the roof needed to be replaced. The work was completed within a day due to their expertise and numerous staff. I had a follow up visit to address another issue which was not only corrected but improved. They were accessible and informative throughout and gave me peace of mind.

Pond Roofing did an exceptional job putting in our new roof. They were in and out within the day and left everything in cleaner condition then when they arrived.

An older skylight in my sunroom began leaking this past fall when we received heavy rains coupled with high winds. I contacted Pond, and we set up a time to have the window assessed for an estimate. The technician looked at the issue and provided a detailed rundown of what would be required to get the window replaced. It was a few week's lead time to order the skylight and schedule install. The unit was replaced without an issues along with a flashing kit and new shingles around the site. There was no mess left behind, and so far the replacement has held up without issue. Cost was reasonable and the whole process was quite easy. I will definitely contact Pond again if I need such repairs in the future.

Refreshing experience! Good, honest people do still exist. My neighborhood in Sterling, VA suffered a hail storm in October 2024. Since then I have had countless roofing "companies" calling me and knocking on my door. Several inspected my roof, all telling me I have extensive hail damage to many shingles and need to replace the entire roof ASAP before leaks start (some had photos). Many of my neighbors have been getting roof replacements (assuming due to the hail storm) and my insurance company was zero help (long story). So I figured I was on my own.. A few weeks ago my neighbor was getting their roof replaced by Pond Roofing Company, so I checked Google where they had 500+ reviews and 5-stars. Based on that I decided to get one last estimate. A few days later one of their estimators, Nate Hileman, showed up to my home. Nate showed up on time, greeting me with a smile and a firm handshake. He said to give him 15-20 min to inspect then we could review his findings together. 20 min later we met in my kitchen to go through the 15+ detailed photos he took.

What happened next still blows my mind... In short, he said "unlike many of your neighbors you have premium shingles that are designed to take a hit and are pretty durable. You have a few cosmetic dings on some metal trim and vent covers but nothing severe enough to warrant repairs. Overall, your roof is in great shape and currently does NOT need repairs or replacement. All things considered you should get another 5+ years out of your roof. At that time please give us a call and we will be happy to replace the roof for you.."

Honesty is so hard to come by these days. I cannot put into words how much I value my experience with Nate and Pond Roofing. Everyone else was so eager to take my money for something I did not need.

I had a leak in my roof, and Pond Roofing did an outstanding job of repairing this leak and replacing rotting facia in another area. All of the roofing workers were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The personnel at the Pond Business Office were also very knowledgeable and courteous in answering any questions or concerns that I had. I will definitely use Pond again for any additional work on my roof or other exterior areas of my home!

Pond Roofing walked us through each step in the process, and despite delays on our end actually squeezed us onto the calendar sooner than expected. This meant they completed our roof before more bad weather set in, and we've been happy and dry!

Joe and Pond Roofing did a great job replacing our 20 year old rooftop. Joe was no pressure when discussing with us our options on the roof and different features that could be replaced or reused. Joe also gave us written and detailed options for the different features we were considering, like plywood over the planks, replacing the skylight, installing a ridge vent, flashing, and different models/types of shingles. There was also no pressure or sales tactics after we decided to wait a few months before deciding. We had several previous roofers come out before Ponds, and Joe/Ponds Roofing were by far the most professional, thorough, and knowledgable in their inspection of the roof/attic and price/work breakdown. More than anything, he took the time to answer all our questions and concerns.

The job only took one day to complete, and the crew from Ponds worked from early morning to early evening to finish up everything. They also cleaned up all the debris around the house when they were done, and even hauled away some other debris I had from a prior contractor. Additionally, they fixed some other venting issues while replacing the roof that the previous owners neglected. They also came by to do a follow up and answer any last questions that we had. Overall, the pricing was very good for the work we wanted done, and we were very impressed with the quality of work that was completed. We would definately recommend Ponds Roofing to anyone who needs any roofing work completed!

Pond Roofing made the awful experience of needing to replace our roof after a leak a breeze. Gave us a quote and when I had questions they walked me through line by line so I could better compare it to other quotes I had received. I felt confident that I was making the right choice in hiring their team to do the work. They showed up on time, completed the job on our townhouse in 1 day, and did an amazing job cleaning up around our house and our neighbors as well. Totally pleased with all parts of having our roof, gutters and downspouts replaced. The estimator, Nate, provided and fully explained the work , products and cost for all we needed in order to have our project completed. I arranged a day/time for Pond Roofing to give an estimate to replace my front door. The estimator came out to provide the quote and after they left, I never heard anything else. Never got the quote. Attempted to reach out to the estimator directly, and nothing. Called the company who said they would also reach out to the estimator, and still nothing. I suppose they are too busy for door replacements or just enjoy wasting folks time.

Pond installed a new roof. The work was well organized and completed as planned. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Nice people - easy to work with. They have previously performed a number of exterior renovations to my house - front door, some large windows, a metal roof on a bay window, some siding. I've always had good experiences with them.
