My roof had some leakage. We contacted Pittsabana and they came out the same day to drone some pictures. Maria sent us the estimation shortly and we went through the details. I signed the paper on Tuesday and they came to do the work Friday. Very quick and clean.

Aside of the proposed repair work, Ivan checked my chimney and caulked the flashing and exposed nails, for free. This could save one trip for myself to climb the roof.

My husband and I have owned our 2 story home in Squirrel Hill for over 30 yrs, and I’ve also worked as an architectural designer in the past. First, they gave us the most reasonable bid out of 3 other contractors to replace our 100 yr old box gutters on our house. But they also used a drone to survey the roof, with no big ladders needed to get a good idea of the scope of work.

They were also very conscientious about our neighbors on either side. Mainly by using a smaller type of scaffold system with ladders and boards, so that if your home is tight with the neighbors home, it was not an issue for the neighbors. They also showed up soon after we hired them. But they did excellent quality work, including working long days, and got this entire project done in one week, with no gaps between work days.

Ivan was most helpful in reassuring me the job would be done thoroughly, and they left our front yard and porch cleaner than when they got there! They also were able to add leaf guards on, which I talked to him about the first day on the job, and we also were able to choose colors that would work well for our house, and Ivan also had some good and reasonable suggestions for ways to pull everything together so that our house maintained curb appeal, and looks better than it has over the last couple of decades!

I’ve also worked as a general contractor on some projects, and have had to hire subcontractors for various projects. I can honestly say that they are one of the best crews and companies I’ve ever worked with in terms of their work ethic, their politeness, and their attention to detail. I highly recommend this company!

We had asbestos siding that had major paint peeling issues, and a painter referred us to Pittsabana to have it covered with new siding. After reaching out to Maria, we had a list of work they could do for us (including new chimney flashing, gutter repair and downspouts) and an estimate within a day or two. They were very flexible throughout the process and finished everything we originally agreed upon and more for a very reasonable price. They made it effortless to add on a new porch roof when they saw it needed replaced due to water damage, and that extra job was completed within hours on the same day. They also cleaned up the property so well after everything was finished.

I would like to say Thank You to Mrs. Maria and Ivan who I met personally and the Pittsabana crew who I did not meet. Ivan was very prompt from the time I called the office and spoke with Mrs Maria to getting my flashing around my chimney and roof leak repaired by his crew. I had Pittsabana come and repair and replace my garage's roof. Maria got back to me quickly and had Ivan come out to check it out. Maria sent me the bid and samples for the various colors of the shingles I was looking at. Once that all was completed, Ivan and his team came out and started working. The job was a lot more complicated than initially planned, but they still finished in two days. They started early, stayed late, worked through the rain and cold. The finished product is incredible. Not really sure I trust the safety of a company on my roof when they don't even know how to properly/safely park a car. Makes me wonder what kind of shortcuts or other rules. They would shrug off when working on my roof. I don't think I can trust a crew that can't do something as simple as park a car within 6 inches of the curb. This person's back end was almost halfway out into the street. Actually watched from my window as the woman across the street had trouble backing out of her driveway because of where his vehicle was. If it had been properly parked against the curb it wouldn't have been an issue for her. Clearly this company doesn't care about rules and safety.

Our other roofer couldn't fit us in for months, so I went with Pittsabana because we had serious leaks. They were fantastic! They fit us in so quickly -- like 3 weeks after I signed the contract -- and they did a really good job. Highly recommend.

They came and inspected my leaky roof and got me a quote the next day. The quote was better than other companies that looked at it, so I set up an appointment with them and they were able to do it within a week IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINTER. Pittsabana had previously installed a new roof at our daughter's home and she had a great experience. A few months later, Pittsabana roofing installed a new roof for our home and our shed! Let me tell you, Mr. Ivan actually came out and said we had some time left on our roof. But, after meeting him and listening to the things he would do when we were ready, we decided to move forward with the roof replacement rather than wait and worry. Mr. Ivan carefully inspected the roof, including by drone. He was able to document and show us his recommendations for replacement. He also replaced our gutters! His pricing is extremely competitive. In fact, it beat the other bids, but I do not base my review on the price alone. The WORKMANSHIP was professional and meticulous. They completely removed the old roof, made some necessary repairs to some areas that had been damaged by moisture in the past, and finished the roof IN ONE DAY. All the angles, the valleys, the cricket built to protect the chimney, the ridge vent, the gutter system, ALL was done like fine art. A second team came to replace all the gutters. It was amazing to see the gutters custom-built right in the truck with a special molding machine. Mr. Ivan's crew-foreman was very polite and kept us posted on everything that was being done. All the trash was carefully picked up, down to using magnets around the property to detect nails. Mr Ivan oversaw our entire project and we received his company's warranty and product warranty for the roofing materials from his office. The office staff is so courteous and extremely responsive. ◦ Pittsabana Contracting was prompt in contacting me when I needed some old wood siding on a back porch replaced. Their estimate was fair and they worked with me to find the best siding color to match the brick on my house. On installation day they arrived on time and completed the work efficiently. I was impressed that they were able to work around a tall holly tree and huge willow trees on both sides of the porch roof with no damage to either. I would recommend this business and would definitely use them again.



So fast and great to work with. We needed our soffit fixed due to a large icicle ripping it off last winter. They fully explained our issues and options and service couldn't have been faster. We will definitely be calling them when we are ready to fix our gutters next summer. Highly recommend!

Very responsive and quick. They gave me option to either repair or install new roof. Some businesses only want to install new roofs and never provide option to repair. The repair option was reasonable and I could have gone for it. But I decided to go with new roof.

Extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship on my chimney repointing and porch columns. Pittsabana was the only company that actually looked above and into my chimney when giving an estimate (which benefitted them and I since the estimate was spot on, and list of repairs needed was obvious), which uncovered a missing flue section and showed the crown in total disrepair. They brilliantly used a drone to take pictures and we viewed them together. Other companies came out, looked at the chimney from the ground, and gave an estimate that certainly would have required overages. Pittsabana provided their accurate estimate on Wednesday, and came the same weekend. They answered every question I had and explained every step of their repairs. They were courteous and professional and left no trace when they left. I will not hesitate to hire them again. Maria at the headquarters was also fantastic.

I can tell all of you reading this finding a good, honest roofing
company at a reasonable price is very difficult. I purchased my home
back in november. The home inspector said my roof was at most 5 years
old. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would have any issues with
it. Well, after the ice this winter we got rain. When it rained, my
roof began to leak. I researched the right place to call to inquire
about a repair. Nobody could come out for a few weeks to even look at
it. Then, I called Pittsabana. They were out in a few days and
attempted a repair. The repair cost was a fraction of what other
places told me. The repair unfortunately did not work, but this is
common with roofs and the type of issue I was having. So, I consulted
Pittsabana for an estimate for a new roof. I also called a few more
places for quotes just to be on the safe side. The other places I
called had several issues. They ranged from giving me the run around,
being slow, inaccurate information and taking a week after visiting to
get me a quote. Even the ones that did give me a quote were pricy and
they seemed kind of sketchy. Pittsabana gave me a price that was both
fair and a great value. Maria and Ivan are just both some of the most
genuine people you will ever meet and I could just tell they would do
great work and I could trust them with my home. They got me scheduled
promptly and installed my new roof in just a few hours. They had a
large team of like 8 workers at my house that obviously were
experienced and knew what they were doing. They all worked together in
synchrony. It was like watching a well oiled machine work. They did a
fantastic job and you could tell their attention to detail was high.
They put tarps around my home to catch all of the debris and went
around after it was all picked up with magnets and picked up any
scraps. If you drove by my house the only way that you could tell it
had work done is the nice new roof on the top. The roof looks
excellent and through much research I can tell they used extremely
high quality materials. I can say with confidence that this roof will
last a nice long while. In addition, if there are any issues
Pittsabana has a generous warranty on their work so I don't have to
worry about future troubles. I would highly recommend Pittsabana to

We had an emergency roof leaking situation. We reached out to over half a dozen contractors about getting the leak fixed, several didnt respond, and the others tried to force me replacing the whole roof without ever coming out to have a look.

Ivan came out and gave got pictures of the roof to show me the damage and talk me through options before suggesting me towards the route our pictures clearly showed was needed which was a full roof replacement.

Their quote was great and they were amazingly understanding with us having to wait for an insurance check and did everything they could to make sure we got our roof done as soon as possible. Thanks to their reasonable quote, we were even able to add on new gutters for our entire house which fixed some other rain issues we were having.

I have neighbors who told me horror stories of how long it took people to get their roof done, and how much of a mess was left behind. Pittsabana removed our old roof, and almost all of the wooden boards underneath our shingles with only a few board not having rooted out, and gave us a near 100% new roof in a single day.

I didn't see any debris left behind but still they came back the next morning with daylight to scour the yard and make sure there wasnt a thing left behind. Later that week they came back and removed and redid the gutters with gutterguards and downspouts and did so with the same efficiency and speed as before.

Though Ivan didnt speak English he used google translate to communicate and even without that it was obviously to tell he was very knowledgeable in his trade and more professional than many other contractors I have dealt with before. Beyond that he was so incredibly nice and helpful. Anyone running a contracting business should take note and strive for the level of positivity, kindness, and professionalism that this company delivers with every interaction.

I cannot stress enough how great this experience was, from start to end. I really wish they did more than just roofing so i could hire them again. Though with the quality of work they did, I don't i will need to call them back for anything, though if i do, their warranty has me covvered on that end too.

I called a couple of days ago to get a quote on getting the antenna removed on the roof, they said they will show up between 4p-7p. I asked if it’s okay for someone to show up between 6p-7p and and someone will be home. The answer was “yes I will tell them”. Then around 11:30am they called and said they were going over.

The quote they gave me for taking down the antenna, disposing it was $200 cash and $250 other payments. Since no one was home to pay them cash I asked if we can reschedule, the lady on the phone told me “yes we can come back this weekend”

Then I called this morning to schedule for them to come out, then I was told “that offer was for that moment, since we have to come out again it will be $400 cash”

This is the MOST RIDICULOUS company EVER.

The quote we have received from Pittsabana was very competitive. The entire process was easy and stress free. The roof replacement was completed on the scheduled day and the entire work took only one day. Pittsabana offered us a great solution to our very old roof above the enclosed porch. They fixed all the problems with this section of the roof. Although our house is over 100 years old, now it looks well taken care of. I called Pittsabana for a leak coming from into an upstairs bedroom next to a chimney. They came out that day and did an inspection and found the flashing was done incorrectly causing the leak. They were out the next week and removed the old flashing and sealed and replaced with new flashing and also replaced with new shingles. The quality was great and the promptness and professionalism was also great! I highly recommend this company.

Recently they also completed my shed roof. My shed is a two story garage underneath roof which requires scaffolding to handle. They showed up and prepped the area to make sure they stayed clean throughout the process and were efficient and had great attention to detail. The roof looks great and after they left it was cleaner than when they arrived.

From the estimate to the finished roof, this company is evrything you could ask for in a contractor. I requested an estimate on yelp, received a call about an hit later and Maria and Ivan were at my house the next day to do the estimate. They used a drone to take measurements and i had a cost figure before they left my driveway!!! I accepted there estimate a week later, and they beat the other estimates I received by 1,000 dollars! They were at my house with the contract the next day which was a Friday and started the roof 3 days later on Monday. They worked 12’houra and finished the roof in one day. Ivan and his crew were very professional, respectful and worked hard! The cleanup job they did in my yard and my neighbors yard was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose Pittsabana for our new roof and I would recommend them to everyone

I called them for an emergency repair to install roof flashing that was never installed by the previous owner of my home. Within 2 hours of calling for a quote, I had brand new flashing, a sealed and painted stack vent, and before-and-after photos of Ivan’s (quality) work. Pittsabana absolutely blew my expectations out of the water and I will definitely call them again if I ever have roofing issues.

I had a leaky gutter. They were punctual and efficient. They offerd to fix the problem the same day. I liked how they showed me before and after pictures of their work so I could see that it was actually done. I found their rates reasonable.

After I had requested a quote to replace my roof on Yelp, Pittsabana responded right away. Maria and Ivan were over my house within hours looking at my roof with their drone (bringing cool technology into it!) I had a quote that night, and after a few days of collecting quotes and considering the options, we hired Pittsabana. I'm very glad we did! The very next day they were over my house and we were going over different options for the shingles, and then we signed the contract, and four days later they were scheduled to replace the roof. All the problems I had pointed out to them prior to looking at the roof were addressed, some of the issues I thought would warrant an extra charge but it all came in at the original estimate amount! Not only that, but we got a discount because my wife is a nurse (doing the right thing for our healthcare workers during this COVID crisis!). I actually first gave them a check for too high of an amount and they corrected me and told me the lower amount - how often would a contractor do that?? They were very professional from start to finish.
