Pioneer Ace Hardware- Laie

I needed window screens rescreened and replaced, and Kirk helped out so much! He gave me a quote and held on to my windows so that I could reach out to my landlord to see if the price was okay. When I gave him the go-ahead, they were done the next day that he was at work! He had to do some more work on them than originally quoted for but honored the original quote. I will be going back for all screen repairs and replacements. Thanks Kirk!

They were out of camp stove fuel when I went, so don't count on it being in stock.

I received a $5 birthday coupon so I decided to buy some oil at Ace instead of getting some at Walmart this weekend when I go. The price on the shelf said 6.99 but when the cashier put my coupon in the price of the oil went up to 8.99. Because of this, I not only paid more for oil than I would have at Walmart, I also wasted my time making a special trip there to get the oil. Shady business practice.

Favorite hardware store here. I go here to have keys made and to buy bbq supplies, tools, pet supplies, and flip flops.

A nice small hardware store. You can find almost anything related to construction, repair, and hardware. Didn't have any issues whenever needed something. Employees are always helpful.

Great and friendly staff. I haven't been there in years but its definitely changed from what I remember they have A TON of stuff there. You want an Ego electric blower? Its there. You want to copy a key? They can do that as well.

I was surprised I remember it being a lot smaller but not the case anymore. It's like a mini home depot in Laie which is nice to have!

What can I say, they had what I was looking for. They had the right colored paint, the precision bits, the matching bolt screw and nut and the right pipe fittings I needed. I needed all of those for a project I'm working on and only needed to make 1 trip.
Update:
I went here recently to pick up one of those 3M sticky picture hangers. I was helped by a worker after I finally decided to ask for help!

Ace hardware in Laie is amazing! They're friendly staff is always willing to help you find everything you need to get your project done right. Look out for Ohelo, Julie, and Makaio... They always come through! I had a project and had no idea how to complete it and they help me through every step. Thank you so much!!

Great place to pick up anything from key making to gardening and lumber supply... Which are in the very back of the store outside!

Si’i shows Mālama off and on the pitch. Stressing before leaving island, I frantically ran into Ace to grab a bike tool. Great seeing Bro Si’i there who found what I needed and made my visit to ace pleasant. Next time in Ace make an introduction. We dare you to challenge him to a foot race. Guarantee he can beat anyone on Oahu.

The community store that always has what I need. Well stocked and got everything for your hardware needs. Usually has good friendly service but today late afternoon (June 1st, 2021) was served by a customer service person who must have had a long day. Otherwise, all good the store

The cashier who helped us served and end with a smile. Really loved that spirit of her! Made our day special after leaving thru those doors.

First visit to an Ace hardware store in a long time. The store front is misleading the store is actually much much bigger inside.

The section that surprised me the most was the fishing tackle section. There was about 20 feet of wall space dedicated to fishing tackle. Not something you would expect to find in a hardware store.

The store contains merchandise in what is a mixture of hardware store, automotive store, fishing tackle store and supermarket.

Great local hardware store with the extras you find at a small-town Ace, from low-cost artist paintbrushes to swim goggles and snorkel gear.
