Our home had some wind damage with noticeable missing shingles. I had a few roofing companies stop by and leave info but Chris was the most professional so we decided to move forward with True Homes. Chris made the process simple and easy for us - we had insurance, association approval and pool solar panels. I didn’t have to hound him with what’s next… his attention to detail and customer service was above and beyond.

Giuseppe and his team at True Home Hawaii Roofing are the roofers you are looking for! Giuseppe took up on himself to help us out in filling our claims with our insurer. He made sure through follow ups and extra expertise that we got the most out of our claim. When it came down to business and get our roof down and repaired, it took his team 2 days to complete the whole project, including repairing some damaged portions of the roof, removing the old roofing, reinstalling a new one and removing some solar heaters before reinstalling them. Was so hoping our experience was going to be great based off of the reviews, but it unfortunately was not. At first contact the team was very attentive, but after our insurance company said that it was a patch job and not a full roof replacement we were ghosted by our main point of contact at True Home. I called several times, texted, and emailed with no response over 3 weeks. I still wanted to work with True Home due to the reviews, so I called the main company line who were polite and said our contact would call us that day. After two days of no contact I did reach back out to the main contact who picked up the phone and promised me a quote. Since that phone call it has been radio silence again so we went with another company.

Roman and Mike were great throughout our project, from beginning to end, Roman treated us like we were working with friends, we really got the process started the wrong way, we approached our insurance first, and that felt like we were at their mercy. It felt like it was taking forever, without any urgency on their part. We decided to start looking for a contractor, we called and met with numerous people, when we met with Roman he hit the ground running, he explained everything very well, and finally got the ball rolling with our insurance.
Mike and Roman came out, made sure to immediately get the temporary repairs done, stopping the multiple leaks we had from the wind damage to our roof.
When our scheduled start day arrived, the crew really showed up, they were courteous to our neighbors, pleasant demeanors, no arguing or foul language. Really just professional all around.

We are delighted with the recent experience with True Home Roofing Hawaii. Our old roof was damaged by the Kona storm wind early this year. We suffered from the leakage from the ceiling in the past when Kona storms came, so we were concerned about the leaky roof again.

We noticed that blown off roof shingles after the heavy winds early March so we started to look for a roofing company online. Decided to give them a call because of the one-star review, where the owner of the company was very responsive in helping the home owner.

One of the best recommendations I received. True Home Roofing did an excellent job on my roof. The process was so easy from being to end. They completely stripped my roof, inspected and replaced the decking, then reinstalled the shingles, and finished it with silicone coating. ALL OF THIS WAS DONE IN ONE DAY!!! I was amazed by their professionalism, teamwork, and knowledge.

As any homeowner, we experienced anxiety and stress as we were anticipating the roof repair project. As we were searching for an experienced roof contractor to replace our worn out wood shingles, we were fortunate to come across True Home Hawaii.

True Home Hawaii has just finished reroofing our home and we are extremely happy with the results.
We want to thank Chris Bodily for his efforts in making all the arrangements from filing a claim with our insurance company to the final inspection of the job. Chris guided us through the process of filing the claim and came to the house during the evaluation by the insurance company adjuster. He came an hour early and marked the various areas of damage and made sure the adjuster made a fair and complete report of the damage. He must have done a great job because the insurance company agreed to pay for 90% of the cost. However, anyone reading this review should be aware that not every roof will qualify for this portion of the cost. It depends on the condition of the roof and the insurance company providing the coverage. Chris was always available to guide us through the steps of the process.
The workers came about a half hour early on the scheduled day. To say they worked efficiently is an understatement. The job was expected to take two days, but they finished the roof in one day. The roof looks great. After the roof was finished, the workers picked up any debris from the driveway and surrounding yard and left the area very clean.
We would highly recommend True Home Hawaii to anyone who is considering reroofing their home.

Highest possible recommendation. We are super pleased that we contracted with True Home Hawaii to install our new roof as they were extremely helpful, professional, and provided excellent customer service. First, we appreciated their help and support in dealing with our insurance company regarding our claim. They provide excellent guidance and support to us in dealing with the insurance company representative and also provided relevant information to the insurance company. Subsequently, we received what we felt was a fair claim payment, which would not have occurred without their help and guidance. Second, the installation of the roof was done in a high-quality and professional manner. The first day right before the crew left I noticed our driveway looked really clean (i.e., cleaner than it had been in a long time!). The crew member said that they tried to leave the property cleaner than they found it, which was actually what I was thinking! Third, all of our interactions with the True Home Hawaii folks were professional and warm. We felt that they cared about us and our roof; they actually provided “Roofing with Aloha.” I highly and strongly recommend True Home Hawaii.

They were very unprofessional. They were the worst roofing co I ever delt with. Left me a mess to clean up damaged sides of my roof and never came back to fix it even though I sent pictures and all and then on top of it they try to add on thousands and thousands of dollars more than my roof cost. Unbelievable,as white as they come. The guys who were working on the roof were all good, respectful and worked hard, even when the materials they needed were not at the job site for them. It's there bosses that need a tune up.

My roof had suffered some wind damage earlier last year and I was in the process of getting some quotes to have it repaired. Luckily, I ran into Giuseppe from True Home Hawaii in my neighborhood. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He spent over 30 minutes walking around my roof, marking the damaged areas, and taking lots of pictures.

This was my first time submitting a homeowner's insurance claim and thankfully Giuseppe was there to walk me through everything. He gave me all of the information I needed to file the claim and also came to meet the insurance agency's roofing company when they did their inspection for the claim.

Giuseppe coordinated with the solar hot water and PV team to have all of my panels removed and reinstalled. He also recommended that I get a solar attic fan which has kept my home alot cooler!

When you think that is to good to be true, it generally is, but not with True Home. It really was amazing and true. Colin was amazing to work with and a true professional. He worked directly with my insurance company, was here when they inspected the roof, reviewed their proposal to pay for my roof, challenged them and got almost 10K more than they originally quoted. My insurance paid over 32K for my new roof and all I paid was my deductible. That’s it. Their team was fast and professional. Work was done as promised. True Home Hawaii was the best! I was interested in getting solar panels but needed a new roof first because of my old roof that had some damaged shingles. Just wanted to share a quick thanks on our positive re-roofing experience we just had done. Trevor Carlson (up here in Pupukea), and Michael Colosimo of True Home Hawaii did an impressive job replacing our old high pitched A- frame roof. After hearing they'd done a great job on our neighbors roof months ago, we started having some major leaks as this wet weather pattern had set in.

Roman was the project manager and we are so pleased with his service. He helped us to see what needed to be repaired on our roof and shared the options with us. Recently had an issue with a pipe needing repair on my metal roof that True Home Hawaii had installed that wasn't their responsibility to fix. I called Michael requesting an estimate for the repair to which he replied I'll send one of the guys out and there will be no charge! Talk about customer service! Even at a time when all business owners are struggling to make ends meet due to Covid19, Michael without a second thought just took care of it! True Home Hawaii is of the highest caliber of company to be admired for their commitment to excellence!

Our home inspection revealed a roof at the end of its life. We decided to go with True Home Hawaii to install the new roof and are extremely satisfied. There were no sales tricks, no pressure, and no issues. Chris was responsive and explained the entire process to us. He was knowledgeable and gave a recommendation on a solar powered attic (which we were able to get elsewhere and install ourselves for less, knowing that our install would be temporary and they would reinstall it with the new roof anyway). The crew is all W-2, which was important to us. They finished the new roof in two days, replacing a few small pieces of roof decking with no extra charge. They also replaced a few pieces of our old, brittle gutters that had been chipped with no hassle. The foreman inspected and had the crew come back to do touch-ups that he explained were "fine, just not to his standards." An example: caulk on a shingle that was only visible after pointing it out - replaced the shingle the next morning. Excellent service the whole way, and a warrantied roof for 50 years.

Michael was great at coordinating with insurance and gutters. We appreciated how quickly it all got done. Our new roof looks great!

I had noticed shingles missing on my roof. I did not have the money to re-roof and was trying to figure out how to do repairs and how much it would cost. While praying for a solution, a True Home Hawaii Project Manager stopped by and stated "I noticed you have shingles missing from your roof caused by wind damage and that if it was wind damage, my insurance may pay for the repairs excluding the deductible. They walked me through the process, was on site when the insurance adjuster inspected. Once the claim was approved, they took care of all the revisions and legwork and even did the work prior to all the funds being received. The work was completed very professionally including a complete re-roof, removal and reinstall of water solar and PV panels all covered by insurance. They exceeded all expectations in every aspect of the job with exceptional quality.

I'm really not one to write reviews as being from the old school, I always express my thoughts good or bad toward the company directly. These guys are great. I called for an estimate and Mac contacted me right away to set up an appointment. Mac came out, he noticed some screws coming through my eve that the rain gutter guys had done when installing diverters. Without any hesitation he grabbed a ladder and siliconed them for me, no charge! Their prices are very fair and customer service is #1. I look forward to working with them!

They did a fantastic job! I had wind damage covered by my home owner's insurance. All I had to pay for was the deductible! I had 25 PV solar panels and a hot water solar panel. All were removed and replaced perfectly. The process was one day to remove the panels, one day for tear-off, one day for re-roofing, and one day to replace the panels. A brand new roof in four days!
Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly. I actually asked him to coordinate the work and he also came on the last day to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction.He was great and even played with my grandkids!
