Do not do business with this company!! They sell you the moon and it has been a terrible experience. Our project was for solar panels, Project kick off 6/2024. The design phase which normally takes 7 weeks ( started 7/2024) by late Sep I had to follow up if the design was completed and sent to the County for approval. Only then was the design sent. Then their design was rejected and sent back by the Country 3 times! The follow up from the design and permitting team is horrible. We finally got the permit approval in Jan 2025. Install team, other than the electrician (who was very good & professional), I would rate a 4 out of 10. One of them was having a tantrum fit and throwing & dragging our solar panels. Install finally completed Mar 2025 but no final inspection yet, Called County (May 2025) they have not even scheduled the inspection!

Andre and Keoni installed a double electric stove into a space that was too narrow and too tall. They were able to cut the opening wider and build a platform in record time! It looks so professional, like it was made for that space. I would like hire Andre and Keoni to do any finish-carpendry, or installation I have in the future. Mahalo guys! CHRISTY

The team of Kingston and Justin were amazing professionals from the moment they contacted me to arrange the installation, while they were doing the install of the dryer vent, and showing me the final result. Kingston and Justin were so professional and kind! They arrived early for our appointment, worked through a parking challenge with us (low roof in our parking garage) and were so respectful of our space. They said hi to the dog (thank you!) and answered all of my questions - no question too silly, apparently! They worked through a side vent challenge on our LG dryer and the solution was perfect. The worst contractor in the SOH. This company does not support the companies who have hired them to provide construction services, statewide.

We will need to seek legal action against the owner and his employees who have been negligent to follow thru with our project. We have called the owner several times; he does not respond and continues to avoid calls from us and the investors for our solar and parking area at our storefront. If he is reading this; it’s too late.

Kingston and Kody took the extra time when installing as well as took the time to educate me about the specifics of the installation. I cannot thank these guys enough, they were quick, efficient and extremely nice. What looked like could be a problem with our cabinets was quickly overcome and then the explanation on how to use and maintain the dishwasher was thorough and quick. Thank you Kingston and Kody, we are thrilled and grateful for your expertise and aloha!

If I could give them negative stars I would. This is the most unprofessional contractor I've encountered in Hawaii. It took them three times as long to do the project that they quoted in 2023 and I just got an invoice in 2025 with them claiming I owe $2000. They're the worst.

I was originally really disappointed with the washer and dryer install that Jonathan and crew did because they installed the dryer with the door opening towards a wall so you couldn’t get the clothes from the washer to the dryer. When I called him to tell him it didn’t make sense, he at least said he would see if someone could come the next day. Kingston, Justin and Brad made the time to come out and fix it so the door opens the correct way and I can get my laundry basket to the opening. I was so glad they fixed it the next day.

We just had our 48 inch Subzero refrigerator (weighs 650 pounds) installed by the crew from Hawaii Unified. They did a great job navigating the turns and stairs in the house, removing all the packaging, and cleaning up. They even found that I had mistakenly purchased a kickplate from Best Buy which was not necessary as the frig came with a kickplate. Thanks to Kingston, Andew B, Justin, and Cody. And yes, the job really did require 4 guys!

Jonathan and Keoni delivered and installed a wall oven that had to fit in a compact place where the old oven had been. There were definitely some things that had to be done to make it work. These guys put it in and took it out at least 3 times. They went the extra mile to be helpful rather than saying “Sorry! It doesn’t fit!” They never got frustrated and were very helpful to my husband and me. They get 5 stars for sure!

I enjoyed working with Victor and his crew. Victor went out of his way to help with the setup, scheduling, installation and haul-away. A week before the scheduled installation, his crew stopped by in the early morning to pull our built-in refrigerator out from the wall so that we could complete plumbing and electrical work before the installation date. He provided clear instructions on what prep work needed to be done prior to installation in order to get the refrigerator to navigate the front doorway and the hallway. When there were scheduling issues with the haul-away, he took care of it on his own, saving me time and phone calls. On the day of installation, Andrebb and Keoni and the rest of the crew were professional and efficient. They knew exactly what to do to get the refrigerator safely into the kitchen, carefully navigating the low ceilings and narrow hallway. I appreciated the extra care they took to ensure the refrigerator was securely positioned and properly installed. Thank you!

After experiencing much difficulty in scheduling the removal of our built in fridge, Victor worked with the company we purchased our fridge from to ensure smooth, timely delivery. He kept us in the loop and made us feel like we were in good hands. Upon the actual removal, Victor and Kingston planned ahead and were able to navigate the tight spots without any issues. Kingston, Bradly, and Justin then installed the new fridge, explaining the care and handling of it, even sharing ideas for cleaning products and where to purchase them. Kingston and Justin were professional, personable, and went above and beyond their job responsibilities to ensure our dishwasher was installed with excellence and we understood how to use it and how to prevent possible damage. They contacted us multiple times prior to coming to keep us updated on their location and didn’t leave until all our questions were answered. Today is a beautiful day. Jonathan came ontime with Keoni and went above and beyond installing my exchanged dishwasher. Unbeknownst to me the previous installer did not remove the disposal plug (not Best Buy btw - pay for the install!!) but the install was a tricky one being that the countertop doesn’t have a what should be support on the other side making the install trickier. Jonathan was meticulous in his install even rescrewing in a side panel to the dishwasher making it seem less tight. I’m
able to “open” my whirlpool unlike the Frigidaire what was literally impossible for me to do and only with a struggle. Mahalo Jonathan and team Keoni

Kingston and Justin were great. They showed up within the pre -arranged timeframe and were very cordial. They wasted no time and got right to work. They were very good at explaining and showing me that, what we thought was a missing bracket, was still there. They offered to take care of the part return and let us know an estimate of when we should receive our credit. We work in the customer service industry and we felt that their customer service was spot on. Thank you Kingston and Justin.

Kingston and Justin were very courteous, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job installing all appliances. They tested and took time explaining to me how to operate each product. All boxes and rubbish after unpacking were removed.

Kingston, Justin and Jonathan did a fabulous job installing my dishwasher, microwave and range. After the install they showed me how the appliances work and cleaned up all of the installation debris and wiped down all of the appliances. When I have future jobs, I want them to do the work.

Kingston, Justin and Johnathan installed my over the range microwave. They were great. They showed me all the different functions of the microwave and even did a test run to make sure everything was working properly before they left.

Victor and Andrebb delivered and installed our new oven and cooktop and I couldn't have asked for a better team. They were very professional and thorough and quickly relocated an electrical box that was causing a problem with the oven installation . Victor even helped me identify a solution for an issue that arose with our countertop because the new cooktop was slightly larger than the old. I'm always nervous about having new appliances installed because annoying problems seem inevitable. I greatly appreciated how smoothly everything went with this installation and how neat and clean the kitchen was when they left.

Kingston, Johnathon and Justin were a great crew. Johnathon called to let us know when they would arrive. Kingston did a good job prepping the range hood for installation. Justin helped with installation. They cleaned up after themselves, and were polite and pleasant to talk to. I would highly recommend them for any work you might need.

They came to re-install a new dishwasher we had bought at BestBuy. They came and tried flipping the switch under the dishwasher and realized everything was fine and the dishwasher works perfectly so no need to re-install with replacement dishwasher! Kaipo and Brad were quick & efficient! Awesome!

Hawaii Unified does everything right. They handled delivery/install of our new dishwasher & removal of the old. Keoni and Andrebb were prompt, courteous, efficient and moved with care lugging those heavy appliances up/down stairs and through our house. They even fixed the bad waterline access that existed (which I never mentioned to them, but drove me nuts) They tested the appliance & hook ups... and cleaned up when they finished! It is difficult to trust solar companies will follow through with helping you maintain or repair solar if something goes wrong down the road. Hawaii Unified did not disappoint. We had a problem with our electrical - (pre existing) and Hawai’i electric came out and fixed the problem for a very reasonable price and power was restored very quickly. I feel we can trust this company and they are interested in keep a good relationship even after solar panels are installed. Thank you HU!

From the salesmen who spoke with my son to get the information to me to the installer, Christian, I felt like a VIP.
Christian installed my equipment to the exact instructions from the Engineer, only to find that I hated it.
I saw the location the Engineer suggested and all the pipes and connections he had recommended for my project. It was intrusive in my carport area where I, along with my family, celebrate many holidays. I started to cry. I just thought it was so ugly. Immediately I felt bad because I could see that Christian could feel my pain. He showed me the plans he was given and tried to comfort me in my pain. I understood, but still felt it was so ugly.
Christian then said, "I will make this right for you and come back on my own time and fix this."
I did not know what to say other than, "That would make me very happy."
Christian then called his company and shared my sorrow for the placement of the equipment. Kaui, in the office called me back to say they would relocate the equipment to where I had wanted it to be. They came the next day and removed all the gray pipes and large intrusive gray boxes and consolidated everything. Christian was able to use the existing connections and thus taking away much of the unnecessary equipment. I LOVED where they put everything and I especially LOVED that Christian and the entire company heard me and made everything right.
I give this company five stars and a BIG ALOHA for the customer service and quality.

Hawaii Unified has done multiple appliance installation jobs for me, as a property manager and have yet to let me down. Victor, Jonathan and Kingston are aces in my book. Victor knows his stuff and if you have a tough removal and install, Victor and his crew will sort you out.

Needed a new refrigerator installed. Victor, Andreb and Keaoni were on time, polite, and extremely helpful. Very responsive team, willing to help, and made the whole thing look easy. Really appreciate all they did to get this done.

I had a solar installation done with Hawaii Unified last week, and I couldn't have had be better experience with the team. They were fast, efficient, and all around very nice guys to have work on my property. I highly recommend Hawaii Unified for your solar installation needs.

The people came to install were polite, friendly, clean and totally fine. I'm not sore if this is office issue but I was updated appointment time 1200-1600 the night before. And next morning around 0900, suddenly I received heads up to have them in 15 minutes. That was little inconvenient. Otherwise staff/job were great!

Andrebb and Keoini were extremely helpful and knowledgeable when installing the new range, overhead hood, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Tips on stainless steel care were given. Arrived on time. Pointed out areas in plumbing, during installation, that needs to be addressed. Great service.

Andrebb and Keoni delivered my refrigerator. They were patient and did a great job especially in light of the fact that Best Buy mislabeled the refrigerator and they had to remove the mislabeled refrigerator and installed the correct refrigerator. Their effort and desire to do a great job is appreciated by this customer.

Andrebb, Keoni and Viktor were amazing! They came early, installed both my fridge and dishwasher in such a professional manner. The kit I bought from Best buy wasn't long enough so thankfully they had a backup kit. They were careful with my kitchen floors, helped clean and made the whole process so much easier than I thought. Absolutely perfect. Victor's team, I believe it was Andre and Kaipo, were no muss, no fuss, and removed a Viking built-in and replaced it with an LG in about an hour.

They delivered Best Buy refrigerator on time, and haul away my old refrigerator. Very efficient and professional. When they left keep everything clean. Victoria, Andrebb and Keoni they are the best.

This morning AndreBB and Keoni delivered and installed a Best Buy portable air conditioner in a jalousie window. They called us to confirm their arrival time. They were friendly, efficient and installed the a/c while giving us additional helpful directions.

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by Hawaii Unified following the installation of our solar system. Before leaving my office, I confirmed with them that I would be available, asking for confirmation that someone would be there. They assured me they would check and get back to me, but there was no follow-up at all. Despite repeated messages and a long wait, I received no response. It was only after searching online for another contact number that I managed to find a way to call them. The lack of communication and responsiveness from Hawaii Unified has been truly disheartening. I hope they can address these issues to ensure that their customer service matches the quality of their products.

Shout out to Victor, Andrebb, Kaipo, Jonathan and Chaes for a wonderful job removing my existing SubZero refrigerator and installing my replacement. They were very careful not to damage my flooring and made sure everything was perfect before they left. Replacing these large and heavy refrigerators is no easy task. Hawaii Unified is the real deal.
