I've owned a carpenter sub-contracting business in the Colorado mountains since 1991. I sent an email to Pinnacle Mountain Homes a couple of weeks ago asking if they need help with any current projects. I received an email from Brady Kress with a set of plans enclosed for a complicated 2,000 sq. ft. deck remodel project in Breckinridge. Mr. Kress requested a bid from me on the project and said I could visit the job if I would like to see it in person. I responded saying, yes, I would like to visit the job and then give them a proposal. Could I look at it tomorrow? He replied and said next week would be better. Following that response, he completely ignored my further emails, in which I tried to set up a day and time to look at it. After 5 days, I realized he was blowing me off. Like he'd blocked me on Twitter. Nothing at all. Finally, after I persisted, he sent me a rude text saying he would not be showing me the property. I'm not sure if this was some type of joke he was trying to play on me, or if he's too incompetent to do his his job properly, but he wasted quite a bit of my time, as it took me a few hours to estimate the job on a Saturday. I'm surprised that a company with such an impressive portfolio conducts their business in such a rude, unprofessional manner. It's common to find rude and incompetent help at Summit County grocery stores and filling stations, but it's unexpected with a company that builds multi-million dollar trophy homes for international clients.
