Fred was very professional, he put up with me asking all kinds of questions during the inspection, very through, not afraid to get dirty, then answered the rest of my questions after inspection and gave me alot of additional info/ answers that really helped.

Fred is incredibly knowledgeable and took his time answering our questions/concerns. Quickly sent over the report along with images/3D views, which was extra helpful. If we are ever in the market for another inspection, we will absolutely be sure to use Pillar to Post. Highly recommend!

Just a little update on the property that you "inspected" for my wife and I. Not only did we have to demolish the house but rebuilding is not an option so we are just going to take the $120,000 loss. All because you decided,( because I was not there, because we live 6 hours away) not to go into the crawl space. If you did your job you would have discovered that the floor beams and joists were rotted and molding making it almost impossible to fix. And the funny thing is that you know you messed up, because you met me at the house (long after we closed on the house based upon your inspection) and saw the damage for yourself. If it was my business, I would have felt so bad and at least tried to offer the homeowner some compensation. But you stood behind your "Pillar to Post" contract which basically states if the inspector screws up, he is not responsible for anything! My mistake for trusting Fred and his company, Pillar to Post. Thanks Fred. Sorry I trusted you to look out for my interest. And before you pay to have the review deleted, why don't you post a response so all can read your side of the story.

Fred was very friendly and knowledgeable about what he was doing, why he was looking at certain things, etc. I really liked that he would give information about how to maintain things, when is a good idea to get things checked by a professional, how certain things function/work (first time having septic, well and oil heat), and so on. If I ever choose to buy a house again in the future, I will be sure to use Pillar to Post for any inspection needs and will definitely be recommending Pillar to Post to others that I know are planning on buying a new home.

We felt the inspection was very thorough and things were caught that needed to be. Fred called us afterwards to discuss everything with us and answered any questions we had. We called him back with a question too and he answered right away. The report had pictures to go along with explanations which made it easy to understand. Turn around time to receive the report was very fast, that night.

I hired Fred to inspect a home that I am purchasing. He has very timely responses and was extremely professional. Took me through each and every part of the inspection.
