As we did the walk-through on the purchase of our new home it was evident that he really went above and beyond in assessing the conditions of the property and highlighting things that may become issues in the future. Skylar’s home inspections have been amazing! I’ve used him twice now and both times you get an in depth report identifying all possible issues. He takes an hour after the inspection to walk through the house and answer any questions you may have. He even pointed out every item mentioned in the sellers disclosure without me telling him. My realtor was so impressed with Skylar and his report that he told me he made him one of his recommended inspectors.

We were very impressed with the inspection Precision Home and Infrared Inspections did for us. Skylar's electrical and construction experience and background are a bonus when it comes to knowing what to look for. He's very thorough and good at explaining everything to you. His reports are detailed and accompanied by photos and divided by categories enabling you to see repairs that are needed in the order of priority from safety down to cosmetic. The ability to make a customized list of requested repairs was convenient and appreciated as well. I highly recommend him for your inspection.

Skyler was amazing to work with. We had him inspect a home from the 1930s and he found everything wrong and more than we could have imagined - which is a good thing for a home inspector. He even found a plumbing leak in the ceiling WITHOUT having to put a hole in it. He walked us through everything he found and was able to answer every question we asked.

What can I say?
Skyler conducted a very thorough and detailed inspection of a house we had an offer on, and detailed a number of items for us to consider: from top to bottom and in every corner. The inspection report was clear and logical, with photographs highlighting and documenting issues for us to consider.

I am glad our real estate agent recommended Skyler (very highly recommended him) and his responsiveness towards us as we were located out of state during the time of the inspection.

I had a great experience with Skyler. He was extremely thorough, intelligent, and detailed so I was sure he had looked at every square inch of the house we were thinking of buying. He also separated all of the issues he found into ones that needed to be fixed right away because of safety concerns or that would become more expensive if we waited, and issues that were more maintenance items that could be fixed later. This made it really easy for us to calculate our upfront cost for repairs and what we could save up for in the future. As a first time home buyer, I was really grateful for all the information he had for us. He was great at pointing out stuff that would be an easy fix, and things that usually cost more than you expect. He also didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and was honest with us about what tests we could skip over. There was an issue with the sewer line test that meant it would cost $65 more to test it, and he said he would cover it for us. Our realtor also told us he was the most thorough inspector she had ever worked with. If you really want to know the condition of the home, you should have Skyler inspect it.

Skyler is extremely intricate when it comes to inspecting your home. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and makes sure you understand. His back ground as being an electrician is extremely helpful especially in my situation. As a leading broker I have worked with several inspectors. Skyler is very knowledgable and spends the time to inspect everything. He uses state of the art technology including infrared imaging, catching missing insulation in the walls, water intrusion in stucco, leaking furnace vents, and on to the normal loose toilets, non-functioning switch, etc. I have a lot of confidence in his work and use him on my luxury properties. He isn't the cheapest but he is well worth the money before you buy a home with hard to find problems. Highly recommend.

Skyler is the man. I can't state this enough. Skyler is a very very thorough inspector. Some view this as a bad thing. But why would you not want to know everything about your house before moving in? Skyler saved me a lot of money when moving into the house because of problems he found during inspection. There was a problem with a leaking hose bib that he warned me about. We had the seller look into it, and they came back saying there wasn't a problem. Skyler insisted that he could confirm there was a problem, so we challenged it and discovered they had a friend look and not an actual plumber. Skyler contested this to the end and we had a second opinion. Sure enough, there was still a problem, Skyler was right. This saved me a lot of potential damage. Had I assumed this issue was fixed, I may have caused permanent damage to my home. Go with Skyler. Always.

They came out, arrived on time, and found things that the other inspectors didn't find,... Or found and decided not to tell us about. They found previous water damage, mold, asbestos, and a roof that needs replacing soon. I wish that we had called these guys BEFORE buying this house. They will be the first ones I'll call before I buy another house.

Hands down the most thorough home inspector I've ever had! He literally covers every inch of the house i.e. crawl spaces, attics, and all the shingles on the roof. He also uses state of the art technology to be able to look beyond the surface for water and other damage. Then, when all is said and done he will send you a 50ish page report detailing his time spent at your house or future house. I will continue to recommend him time and time again.

This company has gone above and beyond to get the extra education and purchase cutting edge technology that other inspectors do not have. The infrared technology was able to detect moisture in places that we otherwise would not have known about! You hear about those nightmare stories of a new homeowner purchasing their dream home only to find out a short time later that there was black mold behind the drywall, costing thousands to rebuild.

While he was doing an inspection in a hole I was selling he cut a home in my wall because of his mistake. He never contacted me as the seller or my selling agent to ask if it was okay that he cut said 2 square foot hole in the wall. He never cleaned up the mess he made or even as much as notified me that he had made modifications to MY property. Would never reccomend someone who thinks it is okay to cut the sheetrock of a house that is not his own. FIND ANOTHER INSPECTOR!!!

I hired them to do the inspection on a home I purchased to remodel. They did a very thorough and professional job. It was hard to hear some bad news on extra repairs I wasn't anticipating to have to take care of. After talking through it with Skyler, I felt much better knowing he was more concerned about making sure I really knew what I was buying, than he was keeping his Real Estate Agent Client happy and trying to gloss over the problems in his report as so many other inspectors do.
